- The Duchess of Cambridge visits Lavender Primary School in Enfield, North London for Children's Mental Health Week. As children share what makes them happy, the Duchess shares a photo of her family with pupils and she is also greeted by the school dog. Report by April Brown.

I don't understand all this praise for Kate being able to speak to children! She's a mother and she goes out to schools and talks to children and everyone is going nuts like she just discovered a cure for cancer!! It doesn't take a brilliant mind to talk to little kids!!
@@Mary-mh2ix No, not a brilliant mind but a very caring person who seeks to interact well and warmly with little ones. Not everyone is good with children. The Queen and her daughter never were.
One thing I must say that Kate's dress for the occasion fitted right in with the other others even the conductor had a dress coat on. Well done Kate. Always neat and tidy and carrying yourself like a lady.

I was there in the classroom that you can see when she got the family photo out. She came across beautifully, so engaged with the children, really listening to them. She looked lovely too and it was a very special day for us all at the school. She entranced us all!

Oh my gosh Duchess Kate's sweet interaction with the little one in the red white and blue beanie, how she grabs his little hand and holds it tight to warm it up is so precious and priceless. A little glimpse into what a loving mom she must be to her George, Charlotte and baby Louis.

Catherine is absolutely superb at engaging with the children. She displays a kind and humble heart, by showing a photograph of her own family, to the children so they have something in which to relate with her, in turn giving them a proud moment to talk about their family. What a treasure and comfort the Duchess must be to the UK in gracious service to its people and the Crown.
The way she introduced her family to the kids!! Not sure if it was planned because she had a photograph readily in her purse but still so down to earth and humble! 😊

Jacelyn they asked everyone to bring something that makes them happy. And after the kids showed her what they brought it was her turn and she brought a pic of her family and told them that they make her happy.
It was a mental health project for children and what brings them joy and happiness. The children got to share what makes them happy and then Catherine shared a photo of her family and explained that her husband and kids make her happy. She was prepared and did what was expected, and it was not some sort of publicity stunt. She is a huge advocate for children and mental health, and this engagement was right up her alley.
Of course it was planned but the important was that the kids were so attentive and interested of what she' s saying. Those kids respected her.

Lovely that Kate took time out to speak with the little crowd outside of the school. People brave the weather and the elements to meet The Royals, and I think it's so sweet when any of them acknowledge that with a quick, personal meet and greet.

Edeline Chouloute How do you know her family is behind anything? It seems like the media and everyone continuing to fuel these rumors are more at fault than anyone. It’s sad to see people demeaning either one of them. Applauding both of their success and continued work for charity would be so much more proactive. Kate has absolutely proven her worth and any rumors shouldn’t deflect her good deeds. Kate has absolutely nothing to be jealous about and my guess is that she is happy that the press isn’t focused solely on her.
I’m old and I know that the press and society started rumors about Princess Diana and Fergie when she married Andrew. It’s the same story but with different characters. Fergie and Diana were friends.
Also, if any family is starting rumors, Meghan’s family has a history of stirring the pot. So far everything has backfired and they lost credibility . They are the ones I would blame first.

No family except her mother at wedding, the drama of her family esp her sis and daughter after the wedding, the excess spending, her attention seeking antics on engagements where Harry is pushed to the sidelines even though he is the real Royal, her constant need to have her hand held smokes of insecurity and is OTT. That is why there is so much negativity. Add to the above her lies about putting herself thru college and not knowing who Harry was before she met him.
