Wether it is physical pain, or mental pain, it is by far the greatest teacher. It is raw, shows us our boundaries, yet it makes us adapt to become better. Makes us smarter, makes us more resilient. I have been through some physical trauma, but mostly psychological trauma throughout my entire life, and while it sucks to find myself feeling empty, or numb most of the time... I cannot imagine living without the lessons pain gave me. I might be unable to really bond with anyone because off all the things that happened, but at the same time I learned from all the pain, and it opened my eyes. It made me independent, made me who I am. I know that is something that some might not understand. There are many negative sides to this as well. Sometimes I wish it would have been easier

Your words definitely made a lot of sense to me. For the longest time I would listen and watch foolish people like Sneako and I’d be too attached to my own emotions and ego. I found myself being all types of ways that I didn’t really want to be deep down and accumulating a lot of sin. By the grace of God I was one day drawn to actually sit down and listen to the entirety of Proverbs and I cried and felt a deep sense of fear and regret for how foolish I’ve been. Now I see how valuable respect, humility, order, and overall good sense with mind, speech and action as well as compassion and forgiveness. I even feel a strong aversion to watching and listening to all of the noise now and I see now where such things come from. Hes most famous for watching other dudes have relations with his girl and talking about it openly. Since he tried to bill himself as one of those manly life advice gurus, he got mocked ruthlessly for this. He's been trying to 'prove' his masculinity since. That's what this was about.
Sneako is just a microcosm of what you see in most comment sections. You've got guys who trained in some BJJ and other martial arts thinking they're going to dominate people who've won 10-15 fights in their life. Most of them talking smack in the comments probably only had about 1-2 fights in their life that they lost but won't admit it. If they fought those people they're trying to verbally dominate on UA-cam they would end up just the way Sneako did and they know it.
He became "Internet famous" at a very early age, it messed up his development and now he is mentally unstable and banned out of every platform. We all commited mistakes and had stupidly wrong opinions in our teenage years, but we get to keep it private and work trough it 😅

I was doing BJJ for about 2 years before I decided to try some boxing, kickboxing, and mma. I thought I would be okay dealing with getting hit because I'd been grappling with high intensity for 2 years now. Boy was I wrong. Was matched up with a buddy who I usually absolutely crush in BJJ. Man, did I get humbled in kickboxing lol. You really have no idea what it's like to go from sparring with some buddies for fun, and then spar in an actual gym during an actual martial arts class. I backed up the entire time, got hit a lot, and really didn't land anything. It's very humbling.
It might be an individual thing; knew somebody who could handle striking sparring, even taking a leathering; however, being under north south in his first 'roll' freaked him out so bad, he never came back 😅🤷

I think it interests people because it brings two different communities together. Ones who pay attention to these influencers and ones who watch martial art. I like to do watch both. @@kobinho1917 knocking someone out is not as skill based as we like to pretend. Sometimes you tap a guy on the chin and he goes to sleep and sometimes you can just beat on him for minutes and he won't go down. Sean was going all out for those ten or so seconds and said afterwards that he wanted to drop him with a head punch, and don't get me wrong, another ten seconds and Sneako would be leaving in a stretcher, but knocking someone out on command is pretty unrealistic unless they are complete non fighter and off guard.

I’ve seen videos of boxing and Muay Thai instructors saying that Muay Thai punching is not as sharp as boxing’s. One of the videos was from a boxing coach who said that Muay Thai fighters need to learn boxing first and learn how to perfect the jab before they do Muay Thai because he said that Muay Thai jabs are sloppy, as well as the other punches of Muay Thai fighters.

I just can't for the life of me fathom approaching a pro fighter(or a pro in any other category) with anything other than humility. It's okay to recognize and acknowledge that somebody is better at something than you are. They've devoted a large part of their life to mastery of their art. Regarding weird stuff being famous on the internet, Sneako's audience is largely boys between roughly 7 to 12 years old. That's the numbers, not a judgement. It's easy for us to forget just how many kids (actual children) are using the internet and for how much time they are doing so. Not too long ago, some kids were vlogging see some event where Sneako was and they approached as fans. They pretty much immediately started shouting inflammatory things about women and transgender people hoping to gain Sneako's approval. Sneako is clearly embarrassed and tries to play that off to the camera like "I don't know what these kids are talking about!" But that's pretty much been his brand for like a decade now.

I think one of the reasons people are interested in it is because it runs into a few themes about fighters vs martial artists with regards to humility and restraint and maturity and I guess a kind of master/student expert/novice code of conduct. As an example, is it right for a novice to trash talk and challenge a master to a fight? Many people might say he deserves a beatdown for it. And the flipside is, knowing what he knows about the fighting world, should a master accept that fight or even rise to the bait? And if he takes the fight, should he make an example of the novice and beat him bloody? Not to mention this was not supposed to be a fight, it was a sparring round. Should veterans beat up novices while sparring? So yeah I think there are a lot of interesting elements of both human nature and maybe the mythology of what it means to be a martial artist at play here. Just like in real war we dress it up with honor and codes of conduct and we bow and salute and hand out medals for bravery and coloured belts and we quote ancient Chinese wisdom, but...some people just like to beat people up.

Yes, I'm one of those guys how get's Daniel Radcliffe and Elijah Wood mixed up on occasion. Sneako is a streamer who was kicked off of UA-cam for mockingly simulating sex with aa female UA-camr. He also did a podcast where he he talked about being in a swinger situation where he was upset to see another man having sex with his girlfriend. He was criticized for this and had a rather bad reaction to this, which actually drew more attention to this. He also is said to be the predecessor or apprentice of Andrew Tate. And, he has said things like wanting to bring back bullying. Because of all of that, it makes me wonder if Sean Strickland desirved to do that to him.
Sean was putting a lot on those punches, but if you go back and watch; a lot of those punches were not landing flush. You can say Sneako had up a decent guard, so Sean was catching mostly gloves. But it's really Sean was chasing the KO instead of tactically placing his punches. Not defending Sean. Not defending Sneako. If Sean went to the body Sneako would have folded. He wanted Sneako to hurt and he wanted to inflict as much damage as possible. He didn't want to end it quickly. If he was patient he could have made openings and picked Sneako apart. He knew he didn't have to. If not for Forrest jumping in and stopping it, I honestly believe Sneako would have eventually hit the ground before the time ran out.
Sneako used to make really deep philosophical youtube videos, one of those changed my life, its called “fake it till you make it” a lot of those videos were really nice and inteospective and were edited like movies, but like most artists he didnt earn a lot of money. I've seen a lot of double standards from people covering this, mainly because Sneako is (rightfully) disliked by many. However, I find it very telling that even though Sneako didn't talk shit to Strickland and didn't even ask him to spar (it was in fact Strickland that asked Sneako during a Trump rally), people still say Sneako got what he deserved and somewhat justifies Strickland's actions by sayin "that's just who he is " (as if that's ever a valid justification for anything). What it tells me, is that reputation goes a long way in shaping what the public perception is, to a degree which I find disheartening. Strickland is a professional fighter who enjoyed beating up an untrained dude that was pretty chill to him, pretty much luring him into the cage with clout. If you remove the reputation of the two guys involved and judged this event on its own, I think many people would find it much harder to justify Strickland's behavior.

Wether it is physical pain, or mental pain, it is by far the greatest teacher. It is raw, shows us our boundaries, yet it makes us adapt to become better. Makes us smarter, makes us more resilient. I have been through some physical trauma, but mostly psychological trauma throughout my entire life, and while it sucks to find myself feeling empty, or numb most of the time... I cannot imagine living without the lessons pain gave me. I might be unable to really bond with anyone because off all the things that happened, but at the same time I learned from all the pain, and it opened my eyes. It made me independent, made me who I am. I know that is something that some might not understand. There are many negative sides to this as well. Sometimes I wish it would have been easier

Your words definitely made a lot of sense to me. For the longest time I would listen and watch foolish people like Sneako and I’d be too attached to my own emotions and ego. I found myself being all types of ways that I didn’t really want to be deep down and accumulating a lot of sin. By the grace of God I was one day drawn to actually sit down and listen to the entirety of Proverbs and I cried and felt a deep sense of fear and regret for how foolish I’ve been. Now I see how valuable respect, humility, order, and overall good sense with mind, speech and action as well as compassion and forgiveness. I even feel a strong aversion to watching and listening to all of the noise now and I see now where such things come from. Sneako is just a microcosm of what you see in most comment sections. You've got guys who trained in some BJJ and other martial arts thinking they're going to dominate people who've won 10-15 fights in their life. Most of them talking smack in the comments probably only had about 1-2 fights in their life that they lost but won't admit it. If they fought those people they're trying to verbally dominate on UA-cam they would end up just the way Sneako did and they know it.

I was doing BJJ for about 2 years before I decided to try some boxing, kickboxing, and mma. I thought I would be okay dealing with getting hit because I'd been grappling with high intensity for 2 years now. Boy was I wrong. Was matched up with a buddy who I usually absolutely crush in BJJ. Man, did I get humbled in kickboxing lol. You really have no idea what it's like to go from sparring with some buddies for fun, and then spar in an actual gym during an actual martial arts class. I backed up the entire time, got hit a lot, and really didn't land anything. It's very humbling.
It might be an individual thing; knew somebody who could handle striking sparring, even taking a leathering; however, being under north south in his first 'roll' freaked him out so bad, he never came back 😅🤷

I always thought Sneako was just some idiot and he was but aren't we all. Life is about taking experiences and learning. Yes what Sneako did was not wise and but I would argue he represented boldness. That I can respect. Was it a good idea, definitely not but bold none the less. He is a live streamer, people watch him living his life, surfing the internet and reacting to the internet. He got banned from the streaming platform twitch and UA-cam for his let's say "controversial" opinions and acts. He then started streaming on a very less known streaming platform on which he won't be banned for his controversial takes. He is now friends with even people with even more radical "controversial" opinions in respect to race, gender and believe it or not whether the earth is flat or not.

@@kobinho1917 knocking someone out is not as skill based as we like to pretend. Sometimes you tap a guy on the chin and he goes to sleep and sometimes you can just beat on him for minutes and he won't go down. Sean was going all out for those ten or so seconds and said afterwards that he wanted to drop him with a head punch, and don't get me wrong, another ten seconds and Sneako would be leaving in a stretcher, but knocking someone out on command is pretty unrealistic unless they are complete non fighter and off guard.

A junoesque blond from Hungary, she essentially rode the coattails of her much more pleasant sister Eva (Lisa in the 1960s sitcom _Green Acres_ ) to appearances on game shows and talk shows. I’ve seen videos of boxing and Muay Thai instructors saying that Muay Thai punching is not as sharp as boxing’s. One of the videos was from a boxing coach who said that Muay Thai fighters need to learn boxing first and learn how to perfect the jab before they do Muay Thai because he said that Muay Thai jabs are sloppy, as well as the other punches of Muay Thai fighters.
@@animallover7072 still Id say getting used to being kicked is useful you might just want to try an mma gym with a good boxing coach( the gym I go tto is like that) and then you can benefit from mma sparring too because on da streetz everything goes
Also all of this is true but as long as your timing is good and all of your weapons can secure you the sub or the ko it wont matter if your form isnt perfect, all of this in my inexpert oppinion.

It's okay to recognize and acknowledge that somebody is better at something than you are. They've devoted a large part of their life to mastery of their art. Regarding weird stuff being famous on the internet, Sneako's audience is largely boys between roughly 7 to 12 years old. That's the numbers, not a judgement.
It's easy for us to forget just how many kids (actual children) are using the internet and for how much time they are doing so.
Not too long ago, some kids were vlogging see some event where Sneako was and they approached as fans. They pretty much immediately started shouting inflammatory things about women and transgender people hoping to gain Sneako's approval. Sneako is clearly embarrassed and tries to play that off to the camera like "I don't know what these kids are talking about!" But that's pretty much been his brand for like a decade now.

I think one of the reasons people are interested in it is because it runs into a few themes about fighters vs martial artists with regards to humility and restraint and maturity and I guess a kind of master/student expert/novice code of conduct. As an example, is it right for a novice to trash talk and challenge a master to a fight? Many people might say he deserves a beatdown for it. And the flipside is, knowing what he knows about the fighting world, should a master accept that fight or even rise to the bait? And if he takes the fight, should he make an example of the novice and beat him bloody? Not to mention this was not supposed to be a fight, it was a sparring round. Should veterans beat up novices while sparring?
So yeah I think there are a lot of interesting elements of both human nature and maybe the mythology of what it means to be a martial artist at play here.
Just like in real war we dress it up with honor and codes of conduct and we bow and salute and hand out medals for bravery and coloured belts and we quote ancient Chinese wisdom, but...some people just like to beat people up.

Sneako is a streamer who was kicked off of UA-cam for mockingly simulating sex with aa female UA-camr. He also did a podcast where he he talked about being in a swinger situation where he was upset to see another man having sex with his girlfriend. He was criticized for this and had a rather bad reaction to this, which actually drew more attention to this.
He also is said to be the predecessor or apprentice of Andrew Tate. And, he has said things like wanting to bring back bullying. Because of all of that, it makes me wonder if Sean Strickland desirved to do that to him.
Sean was putting a lot on those punches, but if you go back and watch; a lot of those punches were not landing flush. You can say Sneako had up a decent guard, so Sean was catching mostly gloves. But it's really Sean was chasing the KO instead of tactically placing his punches. Not defending Sean. Not defending Sneako. If Sean went to the body Sneako would have folded. He wanted Sneako to hurt and he wanted to inflict as much damage as possible. He didn't want to end it quickly. If he was patient he could have made openings and picked Sneako apart. He knew he didn't have to. If not for Forrest jumping in and stopping it, I honestly believe Sneako would have eventually hit the ground before the time ran out.
Sneako used to make really deep philosophical youtube videos, one of those changed my life, its called “fake it till you make it” a lot of those videos were really nice and inteospective and were edited like movies, but like most artists he didnt earn a lot of money. Then he started streaming and got addicted to the attention, he started screaming out a lot of red pill/neo-conservative opinions but he did it really controversially, he tried to be like Andrew Tate. Right now he seems to do anything for attention, he says hes bettering himself (thats why he tries to pursue fighting and getting beat up) but he also does a lot of hypocritical stuff, he became muslim but also started streaming with onlyfans girls. Its really sad but i hope he earns a lot of money so he doest value it as much anymore and goes back to his meaningful videos.

If you've ever seen Strickland "spar" with non-fighters who are crazy enough to get in the ring with him, he does what he did to Sneako to them all pretty much. Maybe Sneako got a little extra, hard to say.
Sneko wanted to test himself and well it wasnt stupid to test himself and he was tested against someone who is out of his skill range by leaps and bounds, but this can work for Sneko why he never fell down which at least gain some respect for Sean Strickland or Sean might have gain himself a fan and a student.
I've seen a lot of double standards from people covering this, mainly because Sneako is (rightfully) disliked by many. However, I find it very telling that even though Sneako didn't talk shit to Strickland and didn't even ask him to spar (it was in fact Strickland that asked Sneako during a Trump rally), people still say Sneako got what he deserved and somewhat justifies Strickland's actions by sayin "that's just who he is " (as if that's ever a valid justification for anything).
What it tells me, is that reputation goes a long way in shaping what the public perception is, to a degree which I find disheartening. Strickland is a professional fighter who enjoyed beating up an untrained dude that was pretty chill to him, pretty much luring him into the cage with clout. If you remove the reputation of the two guys involved and judged this event on its own, I think many people would find it much harder to justify Strickland's behavior.
