@@mxc10 Because Exodus fucking rules!!
Long Live Thrash
Real Metal, besides the big 4
So true
No no it’s long live TRASH
Corey Hopson slayer is the only good member of the big 4
@@Firusdhf agree
Ladies and Gentlemen....please stand up. The International Thrash Anthem is about to be performed!
Mosh anthem I guess?
Decaying Corpse it’s hardcore thrash. The best form of thrash.
@Decaying Corpse dont be stupid its fucking thrash.......in the best shape .... this kind of solo doesn't have any hardcore band
@Decaying Corpse this sounds nothing like punk
There's 3. This, Battery, and Whiplash.
Exodus, Testament, Overkill, and Death Angel should be a second Big 4. I would love to see them tour and put out a concert video.
Mickey Deez There aren't words for how fucking metal that would be if those 4 did a show together.
Kreator instead of Death Angel
Yao Ming kreator is teutonic thrash. destruction, kreator, sodom, tankard.
nuclear assault would also interesting choice. Would be a nice third big 4 with vio-lence, sadus, death angel, and Dark angel.
Yes voivod and Kreator would be cool
2020
any thrasher out there?
Thrash till I die!
Hell yeah! Cheers from a small town near Frankfurt! 🍻
I remember when this came out... and still love it... it has a more 'fun' element to it, almost like Van Halen meets Testament .. but also pure thrash with a most breakdown at the end...
Never gets old, some interesting new bands are reviving Thrash too, check out Lich King, Dr Living Dead and Crysix for example. They make some great Neo-thrash Metal and have some serious skills because this music takes some endurance to perform live. It's like a top sport and people talking down on it should try to learn some of these songs without cutting any corners.
And these guys are still doing it now after all these years too, respect !!
yes, from Porto, Portugal!!!
Exodus are an incredibly underrated band
I feel i like them … but have over looked them… i should check them out more.
Hardly tbh. They may not be Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer level well known, but they're top of the pack below them. Many as good bands who are much less known
@@eclat4641 If you haven't already, you should check out their 1982 Demo. Kirk Hammett on co-guitar with Gary Holt.
They were the first ones to build up a fan base and IMO were the absolute originators of the genre. The pioneers don’t always get the glory.
I don't care what you say, -this Is THE best thrash song ever written...so catchy it should have charted!
Best on fd but the best exodus song is strike of the beast
@@derekobs9688 I prefer Exodus by Exodus
fully agree- "Chemi-kill" is up there too
I think bonded by blood is better but it's a tough decision
Well...I don't believe it ever "charted"...but..if it makes you feel any better...I was at this show and I "Sharted"😄
Who wants to start a movement to make thrash metal crowds act like this again?
Me bitch
Or, well, I mean, exodus already did with their ''make thrash great again'' but it still ain't as great
Nick Riffz yes please
We are all too old to move like this anymore lol

Lucky man
I wish I grew up in the 80s
20’s “ do the fuckin toxic waltz!”
30’s “ Hell yeah, let me pound a few beers and I’ll toxic waltz!”
40’s “ I’d toxic waltz, but I have to work tomorrow “
50’s “ can’t toxic waltz with a herniated disc”
60’s “ What’s exodus? Nurse, where’s my pudding?”
No. JUst do the Toxic Waltz bro. Fuck all that real life shit.
Poor dude
60's " What's pudding?Nurse, where's my exodus?"
I'm 45, and I sympathize with that
I'm 52 and had 6 breaks to my pelvis and 2 fractured discs in my spine from being hit by an SUV, and still TOXIC WALTZ @ the LUNATIC PARADE!!!C'mon guys, it's FEEDING TIME AT THE ZOO!!!
Love how all the OG thrash bands have their mosh song, Exodus- The Toxic Waltz Metallica- Whiplash Anthrax- Caught In A Mosh I’m sure I’m missing others
D.R.I. - "Thrashard" is a classic one too
Megadeth - Rattlehead to fill the big 4 package
Testament - into the pit was fuckin banger
angel of death kinda
@@lolcr0ss Or Reign in Blood but I suppose it's more of a Thrash Anthem at this point though.
*-In 2024 I will continue to hit myself against the wall just for the love that Thrash Metal is for me.*
The flying thrashers are awesome in this video.
"If you hit the floor you can always crawl"
Wish I grew up in this fuckin era
It was an exciting time! There was a buzz in the air. There wasn't internet so all you could do is read about these bands, buy the album, see them on headbangers ball, or be lucky enough to get a ticket to one of their shows. Due to the mystique it was an unparalleled thrill of seeing these bands live.
Jake Lee, you and me both, brother.
yeah and you tickets weren't as expensive
Oh do i miss the early 80s living in the bay area and on any given night you could go to any number of clubs and see violence, exodus, testament death angel and metallica, we didn't know we were witnessing a new movement we were just having fun and truth be told the big 4 could of easily been made up of just bay area bands
Jonathan Lund you are so lucky what I’m living through in my teenage days is seeing cringy girls who go by the “grunge and goth aesthetic” which isn’t even grunge and goth at all.
Where I am from there was very fee concerts didn't have a car and didn't realize how close we was to major cities. Our first heavy concert was suicidal tendencies and they was the opening band with a double encore
Saw Violence in Philadelphia 87
Caught their demo tape
I don't always listen to Exodus but when I do so does the neighbors!
Here's a new dance craze that's sweeping the nation
It's called the toxic waltz and it's causing devastation
You're jumping up and down like a psycho circus clown
Slamming with waltzers all the way around
You get caught up in the whip, you thrown into a flip
You aim for someone's head to stain the floor red
Give someone a kick to prove you're truly sick
Bounce back from some blows and blood runs out your nose
Flailing round and round and you're injury bound
Waltz it up!
The pit is it!
You can take your chance on this rough new dance
If you dare!
To dive in!
There are some that try, but they won't survive
They don't hit!
'Cause they're wimps!
And this exercise helps you brutalize
With us!
Exodus!
Everybody's doing the toxic waltz
Kick your friend in the head and have a ball
Come on and do the toxic waltz
And slam your partner against the wall
Everybody's doing the toxic waltz
Good friendly violent fun in store for all
Get up off your ass and toxic waltz
If you hit the floor, you can always crawl!
Used to do the monkey, but now it's not cool
The twist and mashed potato are no exception to the rule
So don't be a dunce and dance like a runt
Just throw your elbows with good friendly violent fun
Don't start to cry if you get a black eye
Just dive back in and give another try
But too much action may leave you in traction
So you better get insurance, no matter your endurance
Flailing round and round and you're injury bound
Waltz it up!
The pit is it!
You can take your chance on the rough new dance
If you dare!
To dive in!
And there are some that try, but they wont survive
They dont hit!

Get up on your feet
Don't look so obsolete
And thrash like an athlete!
Don't sit there on your ass
Don't look like you got too much class
You'll be harassed!
You know we guarantee this is the key
So rage or get the third degree!
You begin frontal assaults and start your somersaults
And do the toxic waltz!

My cousin was a huge Exodus fan back when I was in high school “2000 - 2003” I used to tease him about it cause I liked heavier shit. Now that I’m much older, I can say I was so wrong. This shit rocks!
Fuck yeah
🤘🏿🤘🏿
Exodus does have some pretty heavy shit that would even rival Slayer to be fair though
What was the heavier shit you were listening to?
Man I miss the team of Gary Holt and Rick Hunolt... Waltz it up, the pit is it.
They were known as the H Team for obvious reason. One of the best duo's in all of metal.
And that's what metal is all about!
This song Never Gets Old 😎
The 80s where the best times for everything especially for Thrash
good friendly violent fun in store for all!
I love how Gary and Rick both share solos in a lot of songs not just this one 🤟🏼
hell of an interplay there, i'd say a dead heat for 2nd place with Kerry and Jeff
@@bhpinball sorry dude no disrespect to you but Kerry’s soloing is not that skillful
@@bhpinball Gary is better than Kerry and did an amazing stand in for Jeff - Rick is equally as talented
Watching this and reminiscing, while in my mid-50's, and wondering what it would be like if all of us mosh pitters from the 80's were to meet up again in a small venue and give it another whirl! 😁

Mick C. Horror and Pop Culture yeah man!
I admit that this was my introduction to Exodus. I was part of the general heavy metal audience that got introduced to a lot of groups via HeadBangers Ball. I had definitely heard of Exodus but I lived in Pennsylvania and not a lot of people in my school were into them so I didn't get a chance to hear them until this video premiered on MTV
I pledge allegiance to this, because it's the ultimate THRASH ANTHEM!!!!!!!!!
They were basically the first one. The others came after, unless you count like Mötorhead and Deep Purple or whatever as Thrash (you shouldn't).
"Thrashard" by D.R.I. definitely influenced this song.
D.R.I. did it first.
Holt and Hunolt a great guitar duo!!
As a teenager in the 80s, metal was my religion. Exodus sure was one of my many favorite bands. Fabolous Disaster is one hell of a record. All thrash now
