"Can be done in as little as 30 mins if you know what you are doing" This has been a 3 and a half hour journey of self discovery....and I, in fact, do not know what I am doing!! Lol Excellent easy to follow tutorial though. Love this farm and am so appreciative of your easy to follow instructions. Thank you!
One way to make it so you can build it faster is to watch the tutorial once without building so you know the basic layout of the farm and so it is not extremely new for you
One of the many things that makes ian's tutorials excellent is that he includes everything you could possibly need, making no assumptions about players' technical experience. Explaining chunk coordinates, raid center mechanics, etc. makes these videos accessible to people. They won't need to do other research or watch other videos from ian to understand the farm, which other YTers sometimes do to shorten their own videos and not have to explain one mechanic multiple times. He also speaks in such a gentle manner, I don't get the sense of condescension at all. Really excellent stuff, I love the whole Elegance series.
I think his videos don't explain very well how to build the farm but I get the mechanics. And I used lazien/voltrox video for wither skeleton farm Ik it's his og idea but they're videos are more understandable
I've heard so many youtubers rave about IanXOFour's farms and tutorials for years and am so ANGRY at myself for not checking you out sooner! I assumed "oh, technical redstone tutorial, its probably going to be over an hour long, sped up so much you cant see a thing, voiceover that sounded like it came from a rock tumbler, etc etc" but WOW. Ian. You are not only a genius in making simple, practical farms, but you are a true master at creating easy to follow, straightforward tutorials that not only explain complex game mechanics in an beginner-friendly, approachable, and straightforward way, but you provide viewers everything they could ever need to know to troubleshoot or improve their farms with additional resources in the description! And the DESCRIPTION?! Speechless. An AMAZING source of more information that's well written and up to date! You are truly amazing. Thank you.
I felt like a kid building a lego set when I was following your instructions; everything was very clear and organized and it all just came together at the end. The farm is excellent and works better than I imagined. Thank you!
What is impressive about this build and video is the combination of: 1) the shear volume of item the farm produces 2) how easy the farm is to build and most importantly, 3) how Ian expertly explain BOTH the mechanics of the farm and how to build it, with clear references and pauses. This is one of the best farm tutorials out there and this channel is criminally under-rated. I am really looking forward for future farms and what you can do with other farms.
@@Zyrexia it took me quite awhile as well xD i hate working with coords bc i just lose track but this was probably the easiest way for ian to make a tutorial that's easily understood by everyone
@@Lol-jp1ju - This farm produces the equivalent of multiple witch huts worth of drops, and you can also use the emeralds to straight up buy redstone dust from clerics.
At this point I'm convinced that Ian spent the last 8 years working hard to become a Minecraft employee and now has learnt all the core mechanics to build the most efficient farms
been playing minecraft for a few years and this channel is honestly the best thing i have found. all of the instructions for all of your minecraft elegance farms are simple to understand and clear. i have used all of your farms besides the wool farm on multiple occasions and they are all great.
I went from zero knowledge on this to being confident enough to build this in my world. The way you explain the specifics both visually and narration are insanely helpful. You’ve earned a longtime subscriber. Absolutely amazing tutorial
To say that this channel is a goldmine would be an understatement. Each and every Elegance video just blows my mind how super efficient stuff can be so simple and genious. No music, no annoying introductions, just straight to the point with not a single detail missed. Thanks a lot to you, ianxofour.
Mindblowing as usual. Yeah, greatness is routinely expected from you at this point :D Detailed and clear explanation of the mechanics is particularly appreciated!
In the last year I built 12 of your Minecraft Elegance farms, and tested them cumulatively for thousands of hours. Even if I'm playing since Minecraft was released, I never encountered so much quality content. Non only your farms have *always* the best effort/gain ratio, but are also very easy to build and very productive in general. On top of this, you're a great teacher. Your videos always cover all the most common potential issues and give enough information to make variants or adaptations (but paradoxically it's almost impossible to improve those farms). I'm sincerely amazed.
ur farms are too good , im the richest on my server now. Plus, your raid farm is the only farm that is easy and has an inbuilt villager transport system.
@@istiaqprottoy8025 they are on because they read the content from the hoppers behind them. Fill the hoppers exactly as ianxofour showed and they will turn on
Ianxofour's farms are really good. For the autoclicker, I use this little thing that's based around John Bartel's old clicker function. Works on any windows machine with powershell ISE. Only one villager died in the process of making this. They walked onto the colored glass block before I added the composter, and I thought at first, "oh, great, saved me a step", but that meant that they weren't centered on the block by falling into the composter before being dropped, so the villager hit the edge of the glass block holding the water. The look they give you as they drop down is priceless.
Something that isn't quite stressed enough in the video or the description is how essential it is that your attack is every 30 ticks(1.5 seconds). I assumed it was just a recommendation for an optimal way to save durability and kill them as quickly as possible so I just threw on my standard one size fits all auto clicker to test the farm in the world download and it was more like 20 ticks and the farm didn't work. it is _essential_ that you attack no faster than 30 ticks or the raid will end.
took me about 2 hours to build. Instructions were extremely clear. Loot yield is great even on normal. Probably the best farm you could build for raids
i've had this farm on my todo list since 2022. finally got around to building it. it was a very smooth process from start to finish. i've watched some other tutorials, and they've made me appreciate the amount of work you put into making your tutorials as clear as possible (stating every action you do, giving xyz coords to double check our work, flying back after small segments so we can see what it looks like at that stage). also, the farm works great. appreciate you!
This is genuinely one of the best tutorials I've ever seen!!! I especially appreciate the use of coordinates. I've been wanting to build one of these for so long but was always intimidated by the complexity. This video was super easy to follow though and taught me a lot about the game mechanics too. I'm so glad impulseSV sent me over here and am definitely subbing! Keep up the great work!!
Just built this farm and I can say this is one of the best farms I’ve ever seen. Your channel is a goldmine for newer/older mc players and I’ll definitely be looking into more farms besides raid/wither. Thank you.
@@MizuTM It won't work if you're playing on a server that doesn't treat armor stands as entities, or if it has a separate armor stand customization mod.
works perfectly in 1.20.4! I'll echo what everyone else here says - your instructions are crystal clear, the building process is efficient, and the results speak for themselves. Thank you for sharing your genius with us, Ian!
hey , i dont know if you built the farm in ur world but i have a quick question, does the farm MUST HAVE to be built in the subchunk of x 14 and z 9, please let me know
One of the best parts about these tutorials is the constant check in with chunk coordinates, its so much easier than to build the whole farm, find out it doesnt work, and then rewatch the video,
the reason why ians tutorials are so good is because instead of building insane complex stuff, he thinks how to get around it, he looks for "shortcuts", things, that can be done instead of grinding for hours... instead of spawnproofing huge areas, he manipulates the entity spawning areas and avoids them... this farm is also an example of it: instead of building it block by block, ian thought of just making it out of lavacasts... Genius!
Can I just say that appreciate how after uploading this video, 2 years ago, that you still take the time to update your description and respond to people with help that they need. Thanks for the farm @ianxofour.
@@ardeniespinal4604 I'm not the designer of this farm so I'm not 100% sure. I would think it should though since mobs spawn in a spherical radius so as long as everything is mob proof, it should work. You will need to follow the tutorial though because this farm needs to be built a certain way within a chunk, but Y coordinate shouldn't matter.
the lava casting is great like others have said, but i think the biggest "wow that's absolutely brilliant" for me was the method of having villagers drop from the top into a waterlogged stair that then gets pushed out of the way by the same system that shifts the raid center
These things brought the tutorial to a whole other level. Simple things like the exact placement of the scaffolding, double checking y level and direction facing makes the tutorial so much more easier to follow along
I remember when your original raid farm video was new and you were at around 5k subscribers and you were a hidden gem, now your farms are being used by duckio, sb737 and grian your channel grew so much and I appreciate your efforts to give us simple high productivity farms that I can make early gane
@@dark_kn1ght.621 Any chunk yes, but you can't rotate it, and also you can't move it up or down. (you can, but only by multiples of 16 blocks (up or down by 16, 32, 48, etc))
This is absolutely incredible, in just 10 minutes I went from 0 totems to more than i could possibly need in a hardcore world, over 2 stacks of emerald BLOCKS these rates are truly insane and this design is genius, from lavacasts to save time and resources to yeeting the villagers from the fucking top into their pods, and then making the pods so that when you use the farm for the first time the water disappears, this is beautiful, absolutely amazing, congratulations on this design and video, hats off to you man, you have undoubtedly earned my subscription. Just WOW
@@chismatic5426 dude the problem was that the villager at the top of the water column wasnt position right. he was just ontop of the compost and not inside of it like a comment stated. i fixed that and tried it again and went from having 0 totems to over 4 double chests of totems in under 30 mins
Guys i have found multiple things that may go wrong if you build it just slightly incorrect by any chance.... some problems include mobs not getting hit, the raid not spawning, or the raid spawning and as soon as the pressure plate is stepped on the raid immediately stops: -Check villager pods, I made a mistake myself when I place it one block lower than it should have been placed, this will cancel the raid spawn if left incorrect. -Check the villager at the top.. if the villager at the top is not in the composter it will cause the raid to spawn, However as soon as you step on the pressure plate it will cancel the raid. -Check redstone: when in construction water may leak if you're replacing anything.. this may destroy redstone below that you worked hard to link up, Also to set redstone repeaters to two ticks you only have to right-click it once, not twice like some people may have. The repeater once placed down is already set to 1 Tick, not zero. This is a common misconception so don't worry. -Armor stands: Make sure your sword does not have Fire aspect Or Knockback as this will either destroy the armor stand over time or make it jump around like anything! Also if you broke the armour stand do not place it back manually... This sometimes break the farm. Instead place it back into the dispenser and click the button. These are the problems I have encountered myself-- if this helps you please tell me.... I hope this helped someone 😄 Also, check the replies To this comment. There may some other useful suggestions from other people that could help!
Thanks, that help me. I also like to add to the list if your farm stop after some minutes like 2-10 min. You need to set new clicker delay to 2250 ms. That fixed my farm, this was the last issue to solve.
God tier farm; I'm so rich in emeralds after making this farm and using it just for 20 minutes. I had to extend the storage system due to excess of items. One important thing for using this farm is you absolutely need diamond sword with Sharpness V, Mending, and *Sweeping Edge III* (this enchantment is extremely important as you need to kill evokers asap before they summon vexes).
@@prathmesh5410 knockback will work as an addition but it is super annoying cos it knocks the armour stands around. but u def need the best enchants as mentioned above
@@sherpaa1868 from memory it usually starts after like 20 seconds or so. Starts quicker with higher bad omen effect I think aswell. But I think yours may be broken.
I love how he explains how a stacking raid farm works because then you will actually understand how it works and how to possibly fix part of it. Was also very interesting to learn.
I have wanted to build this farm for a long time. So frustrated with myself for not doing it years ago. This this is amazing!!! Thank you for all you do. I have so many of your builds in my world.
I am really bad at doing redstone stuff because for me its hard to do something when I don't understand how or why it works a certain way but you somehow explained it even I understood how and why everything works the way it does. I'm really thankful for this tutorial, it made building this farm a lot less stressful than I thought it would be :)
What sets ian apart from other farm designers is that he not only uses clever tricks to make the farm work, but also to make it easier to build. Most people would have us build the towers manually and transport the villagers by minecart, and the same farm would take 5 times as long to build. Well done!
2 min in and I couldn't figure out why I was seeing the Sub Chunk coordinates different from his just to place the lily pad. I'd say the importance of READING THE DESCRIPTION IS MANDATORY. My little issue was solved cuz of the 1.18+ update, and he had a screenshot link of where to look on the F3 screen. Thanks, Ian!!
There's something about your productions that is truly incredible: technical, yet understandable in terms of mechanics. Functional, yet practical in construction. Potent, yet accessible in material gains and costs. And the video itself is clean, yet very intentionally stylized. It's something I can't find in anyone else's Minecraft content on UA-cam. The title does your work justice; I can't wait what's next for Minecraft Elegance. And I guess the coordinates of the build happens to work out to create several nice aspects too.
The fact that he made the “advanced” version easy-to-follow and not sound like gibberish is beyond awesome. It’s so nice to watch your videos, always learning something and never leaving with a mountain of questions. Thanks man!
I just finished this farm in my current Survival World, and even though it took me 4 hours, it was SO WORTH IT. I am getting more totems and stuff from it then i even thought was possible in vanilla Minecraft! Ian, you never cease to continually blow my mind with your farms and the mechanics behind them. Thank you so much!!!
I've watched and re-watched all your tutorials but this is a masterpiece. Truly sets the bar in every aspect but I think the most special to me, is the sheer density of quality information, presented in clear, accessible way. Thank you 🙏
Your tutorials are incredible! I've been wanting to build one of these farms for a while now, but don't quite have the technical know how to build any of the ones I've seen before. Your tutorials always make it feel possible and relatively simple. Also appreciate the explanation of mechanics at the beginning as it helps troubleshoot problems that may come up with the farm and make me feel capable of making adjustments to suit my needs.
Oh my goodness, I was wondering why I kept getting killed on my Paper server, and I gave up there, but then I remembered this project, and just then did i notice that you had posted a solution for Paper servers in the description. I really appreciate you going out of your way to fix this for people who use Paper servers such as myself!
Wow, just wow, this is excellent, the tutorial was extremely meticulous and well explained and the results from a farm like this are nothing short from mind-boggling. Well done Ianxofour, you've done it again.
Quick question for you… how do you get bad omen to start the farm? Did you build it near a outpost or does the raid start back up whenever you go to the farm?
@@2012nissanaltima You first get bad omen from a pillager outpost, then do your first raid. Once you leave and come back, the raid won't be there; however, you will see a pillager with a captain using the captain bank shown at 32:55. Just kill that villager to get bad omen again, then you can start the farm again
@@sineth29 That bank should be part of the main build and not a post credit upgrade, it's essential, even if you have an outpost a few hundred blocks away it's a huge pain to fly around waiting for a captain to spawn.
This is amazing! A stacking raid farm without using rails? I made other stacking raid farms before and it was always incredibly annoying to get the villagers into the right positions. However, using this design, not only is every single part of the farm made simple, but also extremely cost effective! I would highly recommend this stacking raid farm as it is the most cost effective raid farm that I've ever seen!
This is quite simply the most efficient (minimal builds and build time) end game XP farm. The farm itself is top notch - you may want to modify the storage system just slightly. Just extend 5 more hoppers/chests/rows and add another packed ice after that goes into the soul fire per the original design. I also had vex issues which I mention upgrades at the bottom for that issue. I saw extra emeralds, redstone dust, and gunpowder in the overflow chests along with others that i didn't care about like glass bottles, sugar, etc. the rates are so high that you could realistically ignore this but I wanted to optimize the storage system to be as efficient as the stacking raid farm itself. I ended up removing the overflow/soul soil trash part and adding extra sorters, hoppers, and chests using the same modular design as the original. At the end of those 5 extra sorters, I then re-added the overflow chests and soul soil+fire system. The extra 5 sorters: 2x extra emerald sorters to stop seeing emeralds in the overflow chests. 1x extra redstone dust sorter to stop seeing redstone dust in the overflow chests. 1x extra gunpowder sorter to stop seeing gunpowder in the overflow chests. This left me with 1 extra sorter. You can make it a sorter for any of the other items or you can make it an extra overflow chest (no sorter) like I did for even more totems and the occasional witch potions (Fire resistance 3 min is rare, the Instant Health ones are more common) drops. I added a brewing stand to use redstone dust and glowstone dust from this raid farm to make longer duration (Fire Res 8 min) or level 2 (Instant Health 2) potions. For the vex, you really need 3x beacons - 2x level 2 => Resistance 2 and Strength 2, plus a level 1 effect to get Regen. This will let you survive any vex attack with 4x Diamond Armor with Prot 4, and most likely unkillable with netherite armor with prot 4. In addition to beacons I ended up adding a ton of boats everywhere around the killing room to capture and hold vexes to minimize the damage before I could get beacons going. This did the trick most of the time, but not 100%. This plus beacons fixed the Vex issue entirely for me.
All finished, amazing tutorial that covers everything. Ran it for an hour and got so many emeralds I might not need anymore ever! Thank you very much for the time put into this tutorial.
This is maybe the most comprehensive and frankly wonderfully idiot proof tutorial I have ever watched/used. I am absolutely floored by how perfect this is. I'm a new subscriber, directed by Impulse, but let me say mate, wow. Thank you. Your use of clear, concise directions, pointing out of coordinates, and calm, fulsome, careful explanations are just wonderful. I will be referring to your channel again and again, enthusiastically and often.
@@ianxofour I’m a little confused by the question and I hope I wasn’t misunderstood; I was giving a sincere compliment. I’m genuinely amazed and grateful by how wonderful complete and comprehensive the tutorial was and how your explanation has every truly useful detail in it. Idiot proof was used in the same context as fire proof; in that you explained it so perfectly that even an idiot like me couldn’t mess it up. I’m extremely grateful for your content.
the way you explained this was amazingly perfect, having adhd but being able to follow this video the entire way through even though it took me 2 hours really says something. i struggle to focus on things if it seems too complicated or hard to follow but i cant stress enough how perfectly explained this entire thing was. thank you
Just finished building this in 1.20.4 and it--of course--works amazingly! I had a few errors in building--such as having my lowest villager station a block too high, and building the killing floor a block too high, as well as having to spawn proof a more beefy storage section. The killing floor being improperly positioned led to a TON of vexes and evoker attacks (died like 5 times), but once I lowered the magma & soul sand floor by 1 everything started dying a lot faster. Also, ty so much for the inclusion of the raid bank upgrade & the 30-tick clock for manually swinging!
@@TheBigBonesJones Mine didn't work out-the-gate either! Was def pulling my hair out for a couple hours. I had to download the schematic in the description to compare what I built with the working version. What specific problem do you have? Some things I checked for were: 1. all the water blocks in the bubble elevator as a source block 2. a glass block above the top villager 3. the correct number of observers by each villager station 4. Exact/proportionally correct y-coords for player afk spot, killing floor, and raid spawn area. ^number 4 is what got me personally edit: also the first time you run the farm it can take a good min or two to start dropping mobs, because the raid center (area of the world where a raid tries to spawn) has to move progressively up the villager stations until it reaches the one at the top.
@@BadgerBoat14 That may have to do with sub-chunk positioning of the bubble column, or it could have to do with villager stations being off by a y-level. missing observers. missing water sources in the bubble elevator, and/or villager station(s) facing the wrong direction. Sorry I can't say for sure, but double check your sub-chunk coords for the bubble elevator & afk spot. Unfortunately, if the sub-chunk position is incorrect, then you'll have to rebuild
11/10 tutorial, I initially skipped the mechanics and just built the farm, followed the clear steps, and the farm worked first try which is super rare. after a quick test I ran it for abt 10 mins andI'm already throwing away inventories of totems lol. So curious to how it works so I came back to watch the mechanics, and theyre really well explained.
This is not only an amazing farm, but also a great tutorial. I don't often have fun building something following a video, but with this one it was different. Good use of coordinates, the scaffolding (I barely ever use it, but here it made a lot of sense), and the cobble generating the base of the structure. Great job!
You really did take "you can build anything in this game" into consideration... yet I had no idea it could be this easy. I started building many farms in the servers I play on ever since I've realized how easy you make it even if it is a complicated farm like this one
This is the easiest stacking raid farm I have ever seen in my life. All others are just complex redstone monstrosity and when I made this in my hardcore world, I was shocked at the results. All my chests and hoppers quickly got full and I have never felt that sense of immortality before I got so many totems in my hardcore world. I would say that the sorting system did not work for me but it could just be a fault from my side. I would rate this a solid 10/10
Keep doing what your doing! I’ve just watched most of your farms and they just blow my mind how simple they are and yet they keep up with huge farms that take hours of resource gathering and meticulous building. Your farms are now my go to. Thank you!
these videos are so nice because he doesn’t just tell us how to build it, he explains how everything works so we know what’s actually happening and build knot of the game
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I had a small hiccup where the armor stand wouldn't trigger the observer, but just building a redstone clock to directly power the piston fixed that. Works like a charm! Definitely earned a sub.
I just wanted to say how thankful I am of you and your tutorials. I just built this on a server with some friends, and after around an hour of AFKing I have ~20 stacks of emerald BLOCKS (on normal difficulty too, no less). I don't think we will ever even come close to running out of emeralds again. Your tutorials are easy to follow and can be built relatively early-game (my friends and I haven't even beaten the ender dragon yet, but we have this farm, the guardian xp farm, and the iron farm to get ourselves the best gear we can). You are one-of-a-kind and we all appreciate the hard work that goes into these videos!!!
YOU HAVENT BEAT THE ENDER DRAGON??? bro is gonna one shot the dragon with that kind of gear trust me it isn't that hard. I've lost a world once in the end bc i was careless with a pearl throw and it landed me in the void but now i got an elyatra and its way easier how r u guys doing stuff without an elytra??? damn
Love this video. I really appreciate that you gave a clear and concise explanation of the mechanics that are basis for the farm, which is something I tend to see omitted from a lot of farm tutorials.
hey, i just wanna ask, i really have a plan to make this farm, but i cant make it, why? because the subchunk i looking wasn't right there, and i have no idea why this happen, do you have face the same problem as i do?
This has got to be the best farm in the game. So many different important resources, at such a high quantity, and yet it's so simple! Hats off to you, Ian!
Wow, this is amazing, thanks for designing it :D ! What is amazing with your farms is that there are not too expensive to build but work super well ^^ Edit : Tip : Make sure your sword don't have fire aspect otherwise it will kill the armor stands and the farm won't work, but personally I've tried with a Sharpness V, Sweeping Edge III, Looting III, Knockback II and Mending Diamond Sword and it's working perfectly *:)* Edit of the Edit : Oh, I just seen that my tip was in the description, now I feel dumb x)
yknow, I never truly appreciated the genius and god tier farm design of this thing until now. I tried a different design that was much faster just for fun, and good god was it much harder. It took like 40 villagers which took me more like 100 villagers because of how many died, and it had no info or help on how to get them in. It also had a confusing way of making a storage system, as well as a difficult and expensive build. Was it faster than this one? Yes. Does anyone ever need more than 50k emeralds an hour? No. This is a truly genius farm. only 5 villagers with easy installment, and less than a double chest of easy to collect resources. Those 1.7 million views are very well deserved. Heck, I'd say you deserve more lol. Not even mentioning how easy to follow the tutorial is. Props to you Ianxofour, as far as I'm concerned you're up there with Gnembon and Dark in terms of minecraft genius.
I started a new SMP server for my wife and me this past weekend; just want to report a second successful build! Extending my gratitude once again for your top-notch MC farm designs and tutorials :)
This is the BEST possible raid farm out there currently when you consider the rates and how long it takes to build. Took me only one day and a few hours to make this farm on my survival 1.18.2 world and the rates are insane. My main problem honestly is figuring out how to store all the emeralds if I want to AFK for some redstone or gun powder. Definitely the simplest stacking raid farm tutorial out there and I am super appreciative of the work that went into making this farm super accessible and easy to build!!
Couldn’t you just alter the sorters to store redstone and gunpowder instead of emeralds, and let the emeralds burn with the other excess items? Could always change it back if you need more emeralds
I finished building the farm and did quick afk session with the Sword u recommend using. The results are insane and no vexs spawned. Took me about 1h30 building everything, ty a lot for making such easy to follow tutorials
this man is a genius, his farms are so well thought out that i literally spent 2 hours trying to make a single upgrade to one and i can't, one of his farms almost singlehandedly destroyed the economy of a server that i was on

Do you know if it works at all with fire aspect 2? I made a netherite maxed sword with all the enchants but has it on… if the farm doesn’t work with it, pain in the butt
@donutbedum9837 @chrispratt6497 you can put a water source so that the armor stand doesnt burn what i did was have a waterlogged trapdoor facing to the left, with blocks to the front and right and a sign replacing the button to keep the water in, and i moved the button so that it's on the left of the block under the sign (had to clear out two blocks of the left entrance wall)
@@milkcupatstarbucks3495 do you know why when I bring bad omen to the farm it doesn’t start? Raid bar meter goes up, I’m hitting the armor stand by ~3/4 bar, then when it is filled it goes away I’ve done this like 5 times and it doesn’t work

I felt like a kid building a lego set when I was following your instructions; everything was very clear and organized and it all just came together at the end. The farm is excellent and works better than I imagined. Thank you!
What is impressive about this build and video is the combination of:

Genius!

@@shanediesel8756 sweet glad you got it figured out
Guys i have found multiple things that may go wrong if you build it just slightly incorrect by any chance.... some problems include mobs not getting hit, the raid not spawning, or the raid spawning and as soon as the pressure plate is stepped on the raid immediately stops:
-Check villager pods, I made a mistake myself when I place it one block lower than it should have been placed, this will cancel the raid spawn if left incorrect.

@@poppinlochnesshopster3249 I believe the same, this way it makes the farm more automatic
The extra 5 sorters:
2x extra emerald sorters to stop seeing emeralds in the overflow chests.

Some things I checked for were:
1. all the water blocks in the bubble elevator as a source block
2. a glass block above the top villager
3. the correct number of observers by each villager station
4. Exact/proportionally correct y-coords for player afk spot, killing floor, and raid spawn area.
^number 4 is what got me personally
edit: also the first time you run the farm it can take a good min or two to start dropping mobs, because the raid center (area of the world where a raid tries to spawn) has to move progressively up the villager stations until it reaches the one at the top.
@@colinhendry6116 personally, it will spawn one or 2 waves, then the raid bar will fill all the way up and everything stops spawning
So curious to how it works so I came back to watch the mechanics, and theyre really well explained.
your pfp annoys me
This channel, and you, ianxofour, is genuinely the most underrated and respectable thing on youtube. keep it up and absolutely beautiful tutorial
This is not only an amazing farm, but also a great tutorial. I don't often have fun building something following a video, but with this one it was different. Good use of coordinates, the scaffolding (I barely ever use it, but here it made a lot of sense), and the cobble generating the base of the structure. Great job!
Your videos make building big farms like this actually fun
Important Information:
Dont use a sword with fire aspekt or knockback for this farm!!!
The armour stand will break or hop around and it wont work!!!
Thank you so much I’ve been doing this farm for a long time and it didnt work because I had a knockback sword and the armour stand was jumping around
it works for me with a knockback sword, if i stand in the middle and knock the armor stand into a corner it stops moving
thx my farm allways broke and now it wont thanks to you
REALLY THANKS
my armor stands are still moving when I'm using a sword without knockback
Edit: But... it does work
These tutorials are some of the best I’ve seen! They’re simple yet efficient and explain every part of construction so elegantly.
I would rate this a solid 10/10
i just find this channel and i am completely blown away as how great the tutorials are, thank you so much for making this kind of content
Thanks. Check the video description for changes on paper servers
Your video quality is always so great with easy simple to follow insturcctions and incredible designs, love it!
This farm still works perfectly in 1.20.4. Very intricate and amazing design! Amazed it holds up all these versions later.
hey, i just wanna ask, i really have a plan to make this farm, but i cant make it, why? because the subchunk i looking wasn't right there, and i have no idea why this happen, do you have face the same problem as i do?
i tried and it didnt work
can u help me?
@@albertgaming9907 nope, worked fine for me. You are on Java edition right? Are you trying it on a server?
@@burkey7861 what's wrong with it

This has got to be the best farm in the game. So many different important resources, at such a high quantity, and yet it's so simple! Hats off to you, Ian!
I love that you are actually explaining how everything works, this is helpfull in case something breaks, thanks! You just got a new sub
Wow, this is amazing, thanks for designing it :D ! What is amazing with your farms is that there are not too expensive to build but work super well ^^
Edit : Tip : Make sure your sword don't have fire aspect otherwise it will kill the armor stands and the farm won't work, but personally I've tried with a Sharpness V, Sweeping Edge III, Looting III, Knockback II and Mending Diamond Sword and it's working perfectly *:)*
Edit of the Edit : Oh, I just seen that my tip was in the description, now I feel dumb x)
thanks for saying that lol i was wondering why the farm didnt work :D
yknow, I never truly appreciated the genius and god tier farm design of this thing until now.
Extending my gratitude once again for your top-notch MC farm designs and tutorials :)
love this, built it on multiple servers, it works amazingly. 1.18+ works perfectly without any issue.
Well done on the tutorial, I heard about this because both impulseSV and TangoTek featured your farm and I'm going to build this on my server now
Just built this in 1.19.2 and it's amazing. I was AFK for 15 minutes and filled the entire storage system. Gotta love this channel :)
can u somehow help me with mine?
@@whitebananaman6043 I could but it's easier if you describe your problem in the ian's discord server!
What client you use for hitting the Armor stand?

this man is a genius, his farms are so well thought out that i literally spent 2 hours trying to make a single upgrade to one and i can't, one of his farms almost singlehandedly destroyed the economy of a server that i was on
yes probably can destroy the economy lmao🤣
you people that design these things are the most mindblowing works of art out there. Just copying it takes a surreal amount of effort. Designing them.. I can't even imagine. Props man
Built again using the litematica file, and it took awhile but it works perfectly. 1.20.1. Thank you for your amazing farms!
I didn't even playing minecraft, but the way you explain the entire video with full dedication interest me alot
This tutorial is one of the best, if not the best farm tutorial ever. Everything from Requirements to Explainations to Double- and Tripple Checks is included in this masterpiece. A truly amazing farm with a super intelligent Design.
These farms are so simple yet so powerful, this guy deserves more attention.
Never before have I seen a tutorial with such clear instructions.
For anybody having trouble with armour stands breaking, make sure you do NOT have fire aspect on your sword.
Do you know if it works at all with fire aspect 2? I made a netherite maxed sword with all the enchants but has it on… if the farm doesn’t work with it, pain in the butt
@@ODiggityDawg13 no, it'll burn the armor stand and break it
lol I’m gonna have to make a new netherite sword
@donutbedum9837 @chrispratt6497 you can put a water source so that the armor stand doesnt burn
what i did was have a waterlogged trapdoor facing to the left, with blocks to the front and right and a sign replacing the button to keep the water in, and i moved the button so that it's on the left of the block under the sign (had to clear out two blocks of the left entrance wall)
@@milkcupatstarbucks3495 do you know why when I bring bad omen to the farm it doesn’t start? Raid bar meter goes up, I’m hitting the armor stand by ~3/4 bar, then when it is filled it goes away
I’ve done this like 5 times and it doesn’t work
Thanks for this tutorial Ian 🙏🏼
as someone who has made thousands of farms in survival over the years I appreciate the little details to speed up the process like lava casting vertical pillars
