You're evil for splitting this into different days LOL
😈
Fun fact! Ming, the guard who's nice to Iroh, is voiced by Serena Williams
As others have said, Iroh totally told that one guard "Hey, don't come to school tomorrow"
I love how Sokka and the Mechanist pretty much single handedly caused this world's tech revolution.
Imagine being in the middle of a battle only to hear a soldier yell out "DAD!"
That happened more often than you think
The invasion plan was made by Sokka right? He's a genius strategist, especially for his age (15 I think)
If I'm not mistaken their ages are:
Aang, Toph 12
Katara, Azula, Ti Lee 14
Sokka, Suki, May 15(although Soka might be 16)
Zuko 16(maybe 17)
Even the "offical" sources have conflicting information.
Azula heard the plan back in Ba Sing Se. She complimented Sokka's strategy and then proceeded to run back home and report to Father.
If she hadn't, I suspect the invasion force would have faced more resistance. Here, I actually think the Fire Nation sacrificed some not-so-great guys, assuming the invaders would get through to where nobody is. They would spend the eclipse searching for the Fire Lord and other important military targets while a superior military force came around behind to cut off the invaders' escape route. Classic chess.
However, the token force and defenses barring passage into the capital is strong enough to show here that Sokka has assembled an elite team out of his odd-and-enders from around the Earth Kingdom and made legitimately scary innovations to wartime technology-stuff the Fire Nation actually can't combat yet. Submarines. Tanks. Sokka is bringing WWI-comparable tech to the universe, and whatever happens here, it is legitimately going to change the world. And I think for all his allies, "I have an idea" must be the most exciting thing to hear. His enemies should learn to dread that. I really don't know if Fire Nation intelligence as a whole has identified the depth of the strategic and technological danger posed by the Avatar's young companion, Sokka of the Southern Water Tribe. Azula may or may not have. She respects the capabilities of nonbenders. She's faced him in combat and may or may not have noticed Sokka is usually the one giving orders on the other side. A screenshot from Season 2's "The Chase," and some side comments by Azula during the coup of Ba Sing Se and in the next episode make me think that she is aware of a need to counter Sokka. But, then, Nick needed to keep the show focused on Aang.
They hasn't see part 2 you know ?
@@Taiga-16They are more than likely way ahead in the Season, if they aren't finished yet, on Patreon. So, they probably have, and it's possible they watched both parts together, but just separated them for UA-cam. That said, them being ahead means nothing regarding spoilers.
But I still don't know if you would would call this a spoiler since we knew about Azula's knowledge of the invasion back in Season 2. However, such information is usually forgotten by many reactors for some reason. Granted, it was a small window of dialogue, so it could be easily missed. Now, regarding everything else said here, is more of extra information than spoilers, but I do agree that it would have been best left for part 2.
@@meganlodon never mind
YESSSS I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS EPISODE
I can't wait for part 2 🎉
Best Boy joins the team, let’s gooooo
The invasion was hype and iroh breaking out seeing zuko knowing he had to do the alone killed thus episode
2:10 Sokka's the key to all of this. (Ment to be read in a "George Lucas" way.)
