As someone who has just recently bought Splatoon 3 and has been looking at Maining Dualies myself as they are super fun, seeing high level aim and Gameplay like this is exactly the type of videos I was looking for to Study and improve my play; your channel has been an absolute binge watch for me as a result! cheers and looking forward to more content from you in the future ^^
As someone who has mained the Pink/Red Dapples since Splatoon 2, I am so glad has someone brought this up. I love being a rat and placing a beacon behind enemy lines for a nice flank.
Honestly yea totally agree with this, Im sure you know who ProChara is and in one of his recent vids we saw someone in a tournament, or scrim playing dapples in rainmaker. (Name of video by Prochara is: This set came down to one INSANE push)
Would stacking sub power instead of swim speed work as well? IIRC sub power gives QSJ to anyone jumping to the beakon and it can make jumps ridiculously fast
That's what I do. When a team actually jumps to your beacons it feels like Dapples are a necromancer and zombie of some sort. They keep bringing their allies back into the action while also bringing them self back with their beacons
dapples are my favorite weapon for really any mode, but I find that I like the vanilla kit far more than the nouveau kit. Definitely wanna be running SPU for beakons, but dapples are INSANE if you have object shredder for rainmaker!
Solo Q is *much* with the Dapples Nouveau as opposed to the V-Dapples. But the V Dapples are my favorite weapon and probably always will be. I was just thinking of changing my Ninja Squid shirt for a Swim Speed shirt. Thanks for the content! I think the world needs more Dapple mains and you’re doing great work :)
it is worth mentioning that Alliance Rogue had Grey running vdapples for rainmaker (mincemeat) in grands at a tournament once. (also vdapples at area cup grands; but i can’t remember the team name or how well they did since it was sturgeon zones lol)
I definitely prefer these Dapples way more compared to Nuveau. They are the perfect mix of aggressive while also being pretty good at support. They’re covering two archetypes at once and it does an amazing job at that!

Wish I could play matches where it’s this close. In B+ you either get completely destroyed as if you you playing 1v4 or we knock them out immediately as if it were 4v1. Not fun at all. Here it’s like Everything is down to the last point or second and seems like it’s way funner than watching your team eat sh!t or making the other team eat your sh!t for the entire match.
Its to help charging tacticooler faster I think, as Snipewriter got less ink coverage than dapples and its special requires 200p while Dapple’s requires 180p.
@@coppelian Snipewriters multiple shots will inherently make it paint better than other chargers like the squiffer so that seems redundant. Remember that every time Sheldon talks about Sprinkler he says stuff about putting it between you and the enemy to keep foes at bay or something absolutely insane like that, which makes me increasingly fear that Nintendo actually thinks we should be attacking people with it

But when you have the Sprinkler to help with coverage and a Tacticooler to power up your friends, those may be catches you can live with. » It does seems that Nintendo putted Sprinkler to help with coverage here. I do agree a sub like point sensor or auto bomb may have been better cause you need to hit 2 times to kill, would have helped to track the opponents more easily

I must try it for myself. I like beacon and for now only 2 weapons have it, one I don't care and vDapple. For me was the mindset, dapple has no range, so how should I can stop the rainmaker carrier? But the idea to carry it self to "extends" you range is a good one. I personal have more SPU for beacon (at least 1 main and 1 sub) for super super jump speed for everyone and I have a sub playstyle. 🙂

Dapples has insane DPS and high mobility, making it one of the best weapon in rainmaker in my opinion

As someone who mained Dapples during the Pokémon Splatfest and managed to win multiple Tricolors, this makes me proud.
Mobility and damage are both important in rainmaker, but QR and free jumps make this kit shine in this mode

Dapples are great but needs good team communication, think that's why not many people use it and use nouveau

You can, buy you really only need 1 or 2 subs since it curves really well
