Our opinion on the master and also an incredible story about the first time we met him! ➞ bit.ly/who-is-...
    WHO IS JIANG YU SHAN:
Jiang Yu Shan (Hisham Al-Haroun) has lived 30 years in Taiwan practicing Kung Fu and Qigong. He is most notably known for being the master of the monkey style but he is also a master in Tai Chi, Bagua Zhang, Wing Chun, Xin Yi Ba and Wu Zhu Quan.
Jiang is a 33rd generation Shaolin disciple and has been nominated 9th Dan (or “Duan”) in Chinese Kung Fu. In addition, he comes from a wrestling family and is well-rehearsed in other martial arts such as catch wrestling (he has a good relationship with the notorious CACC Snake Pit in Japan).
Not only that, Jiang also worked as a special forces (CMC.SCC) instructor for over 10 years teaching hand to hand combat, tactical raid, entry team tactics, knife fighting and hostage rescue to Taiwanese special ops. Before that he was an army paratrooper in the German military where he got his initial military education.
Due to his respected status in Taiwan’s society and his high expertise in self-defence, he has served as a bodyguard for several Taiwanese presidents and presidential candidates. A foreigner working as a body guard for a president is extremely rare and unheard of in almost any country in the world.
To test his martial arts skills and proficiency in practice, Jiang has competed in various kickboxing, Sanda, MMA and Karate competitions, winning 7 gold medals. His biggest victory was winning the All Japan Karate MMA competition 2016 in Tokyo, Japan at the age of 45.
Jiang has 40 years of training in Kung Fu and has operated as a respected teacher since he was in his twenties. Now, he is a grandmaster who comes from very rare and pure lineages of Kung Fu and Qigong. This is why his teachings are not only very unique but also more effective than many of the commercial forms of Qigong or Kung Fu you see today.
It’s our privilege and honour to showcase his skills to the broader audience. Enjoy!

I am from Israel and seeing that man with that story and the things he passed and knowing now he is from Syria makes want to hug him.
What a hero ,what a man.
What an hounor is to become his students.
I love his film and energy.
He is huge ,hard to belive he was small and fragile.
I am so sorry to hear about his health conditions as i am a crippeled from tumor and half blind capoeira teacher but i did kung fu, judo and ninjitsu a lot.
I am holding my hands in prayer this hero will live a beautiful happy life so he can produce more for us viewers and pass us somw wisdom and training as we/i am far away from him.
Best wishes and i truely hope better times for the syrian pepole.

In the majority of everyday confrontations, I’m going to assume he can handle his own. The dedication to the craft is commendable. There is also the respect for the culture that gave rise to the art and nurtures it. I have never heard him claim to be the best fighter, therefore, there is no need trying to see how he fairs against another style. Just because someone studies a martial art doesn’t mean they have to prove themselves to the world. He has fought in full contact combat, with gear but still, he’s done it. Let the man live. Seems very respectful, humble and for whatever reasons he decided to stay the course, that’s his personal journey. Most of us can’t even decide on what show to watch on Netflix.

As a Shaolin Kung Fu practitioner in Henan China, I could say that he is one of the few left to spread the real art of Shaolin combat, not the acrobatic performance that we all watch around the globe. I have trained within the Temple and outside, and some of the forgotten Kung fu lies outside of the Temple, and taught by some unknown master that don’t wear Shaolin robes and can’t jump high! Respect to him!!!

I can actually feel the strength coming from him when he’s demonstrating the monkey fist even by watching this video! Strength isn’t just measured in brute power but internally as well and this special individual has both. Respect! I’d love to learn some things from him for sure, he’s got a lifetime of knowledge and experience in the fighting arts.

    when I was ten too.

    we learn,
    we change,
    we grow wiser, hopefully.

Thank you for Sharing your life story.
    Im very touched by it.
I can see and hear your humbleness.
You have been through a bit of pain and suffering.
    We are all born innocent.
The world corrupts our spirit ego centrepoint.
We become lost in this voice.
And want to show ourselves how tough we are.
Through living experiences in different ways and times.
We all have similar lives but very different.
But through these similarities we can share comfort and respect eachother.
I truly see a good person and master in you.
I have terrible tendon damage from my ego when young and arrogant and practicing martial arts.
I still practice my chi gung from 5th generation Shaolin master .
I was fortunate enough to learn this Chi Gung.
Only 2 Gwlio know this form.
I share it with my 3 sons.
I just wish i had of looked after my body better and not put it through something
it will never heal from unless I have surgery.
But at over 50 years young.
Having time for surgery is not easy when you must support a family.
Enough of me this is about you.
    Thankyou for returning to teach.
I hope you may share with joy and love.
Worldly brother if you know of or how any exercises to help heal shoulder tendons
    or even foods.
    Will you please share.
May our heavens our earth we are part of join you in your quest for enlightenment.
May your heart find true love and find your inner child again so to open yourself up to find lightness in your soul
Quite peace in your mind and glowing warmth n happiness in your heart .
    Good luck with your journey.
Peace be with you and all who come to you.
I havent lived your life nor would I want too
But you are the real deal
Life humility is only with age and experience in real life
    Hard journey
    Good jounney
Time to grow and teach others not to make the same mistakes that you have and to share your knowledge and peace.
    Bring peace not war
    Martial arts are for fighting
Martial arts are for being closer to the world the heavens
You move well your legs are strong your waist is strong your spine is strong your achievements are great
We all win we all loose
What we take from both is learning.
Im interested in learning more traditional chi gumg purely for health and body strengthening and spirituality.
Thankyou again for your time and honesty and kindness.

Hey there, I am a brutally injured 51 year old guy that has lived a super active past. I am disabled, too many injuries to list, as of 2016 brain injured. I spent 2 years learning to walk again, and then started to train Goju Ryu Karate and Tai Chi Chuan. I am working on what is being done here as well, but not in the manner being taught. I hope one day too be able to travel to Taiwan to learn further. I train to learn to deal with pain, not fight, that is just a bonus. Thanks for posting this, a great inspiration, also i would love to know how to get some of that pain rub you guys used, that may be helpful to me. Cheers.

I’d love to be able to train hard again, was hit by drunk driver while sitting at stop sign, he was going sixty miles an hour, it was like being in an explosion, I’ve never stopped once, but what I can do now, and what I used to be able to do is completely different, was angry for years, now I see it as a gift, because it’s made me look inside more..plus I’m trying to find the best chi Kung techniques for my injuries......there would have been a time when we would have fun training together, our training is similar plus I trained eight hours a day for twenty years, four hours a day for the other twenty..I’m one degree lower, and I can see I could have learned a lot from you, again thank you...I don’t talk much, but listening to your story hit me in the right place....thank you..

Hello sir. I think I have a suggestion for you that maybe you might find beneficial. We have very similar backgrounds in some ways. I'm a Cherokee Indian tracker and a bujinkan ninjutsu godan who is 76 years old and still tracking and practicing and training in the bujinkan. I've always been a traditional martial artist beginning at age 11 with formal training . I hold 5 godan level black belts in only traditional martial arts. I've been training in the bujinkan for 45 years. I just have the feeling that you would really come alive training in the bujinkan especially with the vast experience that you have already have had in your life. The saying about bujinkan ninjutsu is unique special and true.... Without ever directly studying any of the mysterious skills and powers found by directly studying them in all the other arts.... These things simply come from a life of constant consistent training with no need to discuss them or have explanations. To illustrate this our Grandmaster Soke Hatsumi in the 1980s when people were just becoming aware of the ninja thru various movies and television and the internet...found that he had all sorts of people asking him questions about life and martial arts and how to achieve all of these amazing things that the Ninja could do. he decided that he would invite all of the highest-ranking black belts to a Tai Ki birthday for Soke seminar where he would answer all of their questions from the ancient scrolls. Everyone came and for several days they asked many many profound
Questions. he never directly answer to any of them but commented often as to how wonderful the questions were. On the last day as he was about to leave the room he suddenly stopped turned to the gasping audience that was so stunned that he still hadn't answered their profound questions.... And said oh yeah I promised you to answer your from the scrolls... Now I will do
That:. ShihenHariMesuDyikimo! Which translates to English as.. just shut up and train and life takes care of itself! forgive me but I had to spell the Japanese words in phonics because I have no idea how to really type them in English. It's a phrase that we constantly say at the beginning of class every class. And since so few people know Japanese most have no clue what those words we've been chanting even meant! Now we do! the thing is our art is the only art that takes on a life of its own. if it does, all the skills that you have come hopping out full born appropriately at the right time without you even thinking about what to do. the thing is martial artists should practice and hone and keep their tools handy but then there comes a time when they need to put them into the tool shed and walk away from the tool shed. and only visit occasionally to keep them well maintained. So many people have arrived at wonderful skill levels in various martial arts and even if they were training formally in highly traditional ways they were doing it DYI! And they're still living that. And that way is largely mental. Even you and I who have who have trained more heavily in the arts mostly with experiential training and emphasized the physical combative side of the arts..
    We too have done this.
Before I discovered bujinkan ninjutsu my main martial art was Hung Gar Kung Fu and in spite of all those years and all those other black belts it took me 45 years to receive the black belt that I now hold..
I discovered after those many years of training that the main reason that I had taken so long to get that rank was because of two things when was because I had made the statement early on in my training that I didn't like martial arts that gave black belts out too quickly and that when I got my black belt for each rank I wanted to be certain that I was a performing as an actual black belt before I was awarded any rank even the lower ranks I wanted to be performing those skills as if I had a black belt...The second reason I chuckle about because it was because the instructors here in America were afraid to test me because they kept seeing things come out of me that they had no clue how to deal with... Because I was one of those that this saying really worked well for. Hence: how , I see some likely similarity between the two of us. Sincerely,

I remember him from the show ¨Kill Arman¨. a Finnish guy Arman travelled around the world to meet the masters of different MA styles and then challenged them to fight without almost any experience in MA. This Hisham guy was the only one of these masters I still remember. He seems to be quite a character. Arman said "This guy is crazy!" 😁 Look at his hands and fingers. They are swollen twice as large as normal.

Very very interesting, I must Say I checked out the website and the course looks interesting , but the prices are completely unbearable for most people. May I suggest to cut the prices to a much, much lower point, maybe with weekly or monthly plans so that people can try out and see if the training fits them? I mean, with this quality content you would have so much more people subscribing IMHO. Anyway keep up the good work!

Wooooooow talk about dedication he has a wealth of knowledge as well. This guy has been taught by real Kung Fu Masters. He is a dying breed and I mean this in no disrespect, but anyone who has the opportunity to learn from him directly and personally should consider themselves really fortunate..
