I took my daughter to see my grandfathers childhood home in Scotland in 2017. I came back with a deep love for Scotland and the people. Once you've been there, you'll want to go back!

It sounds like, it is the same experience, people have, when they are in Ireland.
I was the first time in Ireland from 2001-2002 and left my heart there with the promise, that I will come back. In 2017 I had an opportunity and did it. I bought a one-way ticket from Austria to Ireland. So many were telling me, how crazy I am. I also found then out, who my true friends are. I have hardly friends left. Even the family did not like what I did, but alright, if they think so. For them I am a big failure, because I am the "black sheep". who does things differently, then the mainstream.

What a glorious message here from one of the worlds greatest actors ever, The man is deep and so connected to Spirit, and I just love the way he shared this with me...personally. Truly he is one of the greatest all time actors ever, It has nothing to do with his looks.. it has to do with his inner being..his faith..his depth of purpose and his love for all people no matter who they are..he is kind ..he is caring and not just superficial or for fame..he just shines the very way God intended man to be..humble, and powerful and show forth his talent to help us all to do the best we can... His sens of humor is infections and he is not afraid to try anything new .. I am totally honored to be able to be alive and post on this incredible man's journey in life..and how he has brought the entire world to his feet... not with boasting not with pushing . not with ego, but with his very Soul.. and he is a healer because of this... like Jesus .. he walks the talk of his inner being ..his messages from his Maker and he rejoices in LIFE!!! God Bles you Sam Heughan and thank you for your total healing presence ..your joy is felt, your passion for Life felt. and your obedience to yourself. felt.. You are authentic.. and that is rare. God Be with you always.. Blessings, Merrilyn Mc Elderry in Northfield, Minnestoa USAI am a great grandma..a grandma, a mother . a school teacher of students at risk. and my son just had a liver transplant here in MPLS and you brought him joy in your beautiful life. He is healed and doing the impossible too. THANK YOU from our hearts..

Hello Merri. This is an absolutely wonderful description of the excellent actor and genuine and honest man Sam Heughan. You speak for us true SH fans with emotional words from the heart. Sam is blessed. Sam is undoubtedly a handsome man, but what really attracts one is his inner beauty with all the attributes you described so aptly. You can see it in his eyes, his smile, the open way he approaches people. The most important sentence of your comment for me is "he is authentic". He really is, he's just Sam and he always will be, despite the success and fame he has achieved through hard work and believing in himself. And he is grateful for everything he has achieved in his life so far and gives so much back to people. It is truly moving to read that this wonderful human being, Sam Heughan, has given you and your family so much hope and courage during difficult times as a role model. You too are blessed. I wish you all the luck .

@@GalwayGirl1 I’m pleased you found this channel I mentioned, Merri Mcelderry’s beautiful tribute to Sam Inspired me to write my thoughts down on joining Sam on his journey of self-discovery down the West Highland Way through his Audio book, I was with him every step of the way, and spell bound from beginning to end! Sam is everything you and Merri say and if possible even more! a true gentle man with a heart of gold….I was so disappointed to see my comment on ‘Will I is’ had disappeared yesterday 😢 I see you have attracted the fake wannabe’s as well! 🥴

I would travel to Scotland from Newtownards Northern Ireland regularly on my motorcycle. The scenery in the Highlands is simply breath taking. From Glencoe to Applecross, Oban to Cambeltown you will never grow tired of this wonderful country and of course I feel right at home being Ulster Scott's.
    Scotland the brave.
    Scotland the beautiful.

Love the autobiography! I can relate to many parts of the story: eating disorder, high expectations of myself and others, goal oriented, positivity during adversity. Thank you for sharing!

Sam is my choice for the Next Generation James Bond, what you think, good acting skills, strong person, believable enough to be a Spy.

Yes I came here, because I know also the series. I find his performance very good. The whole cast is great. Well, I might never "make it", but I know what I am talking about. I was on stages in Austria, had also acting lessons back then and have now a level 8 degree in digital Film production. I know the work there very well. Maybe I also should write a book, although I have to leave the beginnings still in the dark, because otherwise I will have again problems with my own family, who does not want, that the public see their "real face", which is unfortunately an ugly one.
I still can put other things in it. Why I write this? Because everywhere I am at the last time, it is mentioned that he or she also wrote a book. I have a book in my mind as well. Then many can see, how an Austrian ends up in Ireland. 😉
Thank you for this, I enjoyed it. ❤
