Nintendo should get a set of remasters going on Switch, including tweaked ports of Crimson Butterfly Wii, Mask of the Lunar Eclipse and Maiden of Black Water ( they do co-own the franchise now )
I also remembered The Suffering. It was Midway's/ NetherRealm Studios answer to Konami's Silent Hill and Capcom's Resident Evil Really wish they bring back this series
I think the problem with outbreak was it was two installments. Back in the ps2 days it was kinda hard to do the dlc type thing, and the ethernet adapter was not the greatest back then. By the time the ps2 slim came out and the online was better, the ps3 was already coming out, so games like Dark Alliance were already closed on the network and a great example of these dlc type games would be Hack GU which even on the playstation store they knew they could get away with selling all 4 volumes individually. I would like to see that they do a port of outbreak 1 and 2 on the ps4 or ps5 respectively. It definitely was a solid game in the realm of RE online types that have usually met with poor review.
Am I the only one who remembers Extermination from the PS2? The plot is basically The Thing, except unlike in most games where you're immune to the virus itself, you can actually get infected in Extermination in addition to just being outright killed. You can use antibiotics and other things to keep the infection at bay, but if you get fully infected you're weaker and have a limited amount of time to get to a decontamination chamber before you're mutated(while also having your soul forcibly ejected from your body).
The Forbidden Siren series deserves a mention. I understand why the first one wasn't so popular due to its tough difficulty (fuck those rifle wielding enemies and confusing mission objectives), but the the second and third game are easier to get into. I highly recommend the series if you like horror (especially J-Horror).
*Number 1:* Scary Maze Game _This game looks too simple but once you hit the walls, a jumpscares comes out from nowhere. It needs more praise than what it deserves._

For number 6: you forgot to mention that with the WiiU title , the use of the gamepad makes things pretty tense in some situations. from GamesRadar: "Anything that can be tied to the controller's screen is, from scanning the environment to sniping enemies. Even looting and inventory management, which leaves your survivor vulnerable, is accomplished with taps and swipes on the GamePad's screen, forcing you to temporarily take your eyes off the action. It's cumbersome and sometimes difficult to get used to, but it feels like it’s supposed to be, ramping up the anxiety every time you need to take your eyes off the screen. Ubisoft used the GamePad's weaknesses to its advantage, creating incredibly tense moments." That's the main reason id like to get this game on WiiU, despite it having a PC version.
I was not expecting clock tower 3 to be on this list lol. I went through a period where every 2 weeks I’d go to gamestop and buy a random game and I bought CT3 and I literally tried over and over to get passed the piano part which is in the beginning and I could not for the life of me get passed it! I was too scared lol
The thing that freaked me out about Silent Hill 4: The Room was the giant ghostly disfigured face of a woman in the room at one point or scene. I remember having a childhood nightmare about something similar.
I miss playing video games! Now I am definitely going to have to play SH4: The Room again!! OMG!!! Clock Tower 3 is AWESOME!! I played that at the end of last year and it always gets my heart pumping every time I play it!! Another great game is Haunting Grounds!!
I definitely would have put the Fatal Frame games on this list, especially Fatal Frame 2. The unsettling atmosphere and intriguing story always makes it replayable. Haunting Ground and Siren also deserves some love. My favourite horror games.
I love Clock Tower 3! I really enjoyed the setup and the mythology, the history between the Rooders and the Entities with their crazed Subordinates. Plus it does feel like its predecessors in that you flee and hide from your pursuer, but you also get to fight them when the conditions are met. I recommend this game whenever the topic of great horrors come up, but at the time of its release it was just different enough from the first few Clock Tower games to put fans off and it wasn’t well-advertised, which led to it selling poorly compared to Capcom’s goal....which in turn led them to cancel the development of Clock Tower 4. When the run-and-hide survival horror trend got popular, I kept waiting for people to rediscover CT3 and for Capcom to throw their hat back into the ring, but it never really happened. It’s a real shame, because the game is intense and atmospheric, scary in all the right ways. You are constantly waiting for the music cue that announces a Subordinate is chasing after you, always keeping track of the closest hide spots from your current location. But at the same time, the story is engaging and contains a fair amount of intrigue, plus there are references back to the first two CT games to find. The Dark Gentleman is a threatening specter, even though he is not the flashiest villain in the game. It even has good voice acting for a PS2-era title! A Clock Tower 4 that builds on the foundation laid by CT3’s additions to the CT series is a personal dream game of mine, so I keep hoping Capcom will go back to it. In the meantime, it badly deserves more love from gamers, not just horror heads like me.
The Suffering is a sweet game. Great environments, characters, soundtrack and story. It's not mentioned nearly enough as it should be. Haven't played it in years but it's still pretty fresh in my mind. Definitely needs more love and would be a great reboot!

So yesterday 😔at school my classmates laughed at me when I said that I was g😭nna make enough money on UA-cam to cure my aunt Lissa breast cancer but all they did was laugh and mock me expetially my girlfriend cleo 💔 who laughed and said that she is embarrassed to be with me😭💔
But one day I'll surely prove them wrong
It hurts 😭
But there wasn’t any school
Either you're referencing a game, are delusional or just a liar, which is it as I'm genuinely curious if it's a reference.
U still have school?
The Suffering was so underrated, i just picked it up for something different, wow what a game, and the Suffering two was also worth it
Amazing video and what about resident evil zero, until dawn and obscure aftermath too. Fantastic job watchmojo
Horror games like these are perfect for Halloween 🎃
Yes silent hill the room was fresh I think it was very good, the concept was excellent! Of course 2 still my favorite of all.
i was expecting to see Rule of Rose
what ? all these games are cult classics, u would think games like RULE OF ROSE , KUON , HAUNTING GROUNDS, EXTERMINATION (better than the thing), COLD FEAR , CURSED MOUNTAIN, OBSCURE , GALERIANS , ECHO NIGHT, GHOST VIBRATION , THE RING (dreamcast) , RUN LIKE HELL , PHASE PARADOX....man, and they made such a generic list....and to be fair, the best horro game that should be revived is DARK SEED , now that was pure horror.
I absolutely LOVED Obscure
Man the thing is definitely one of my favorite horror games on the ps2. good times
