    Love the new building Paul.
    The 'odd' angles youve got make this even more unique than a ready to plant building.
    Top work as usual

      @@GalgormHall You're welcome! I've just finished your neat little substation project featured in Hornby Magazine a few months ago. As I'll eventually have a late 1930s layout it was fun tracking down an earlier warning sign for the door.

    For goodness sake Paul! You'll need to start again - using our imagination is just not on! ;-) Even in raw brick the building looks great. The variation in roof height gives a bit of added interest too. Cheers

    Thanks for the tips, this is the reason that my craftsman kit went back in the box, all the panels are cut out with templates applied but cutting out the openings was to much. I’ll try again now I think

      Hi Ian hopefully it’s given you some confidence to give the build another go. Once you’ve successfully built your first then the next will become much easier. Paul

    Brilliant mate, precision cutting as always. However, next time I see you I am going to buy you a safety ruler before one of your digits flies across my screen! Take care, cheers Steve

  • @Sandlingjunction
    @Sandlingjunction 2 роки тому

    just a clarification Paul, when you have the initial plan glued to grey board, do you ct on the inside, outside or in the middle of the black lines ? to ensure the windows in the kit fit correctly and snug. cheers Paul at Sandling Junction

    • @GalgormHall
      @GalgormHall  2 роки тому

      It shouldn’t really matter where you cut as the window frame tolerances are quite large, just make sure that whichever cut you make you do the same for all windows. Within the line will give a very fine frame whereas cuts on the outside of the black line will give a thicker profile. Paul
