You seem to have Netflix on your mind!😂 YOU. ARE. ABSOLUTELY. INCREDIBLE. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 I will become a customer soon enough. You are too talented to keep being watched, and not invested in to what you do. Wood and wires, man, I bet a camping trip with you is off the chain! 🤣 I am so grateful to enjoy the viewing of your gifts on display. 🙏
You are truly a skilled worker, I have watched all your videos. All cutting and trimming operations of the work are presented neatly and beautifully by you. Thank you for sharing this useful video.
I really love watching your videos, I used to want them more often, but then I realised that when you drop them, they are a true gift. These speakers are dope.
Thank you Matt! Like William Ellis, my mind tries to put it all together like a puzzle as you're working. Not so much this time!☺️ This was fun to watch! I like the orange with the wood tone too. Imaginative and beautifully done!👍 Blessings! 💜
I simply lover your work. I really love all the speaker boxes you make. If I'm ever in a better position with money I would love to get a set from you one day if possible that is. Keep it up.
Another amazing project, Matt. Once again you had me guessing until almost the end. Your mad metalworking skills were also on display along with your mad woodworking skills. The title should be Orange is The New Blues! Lol Bill
Hi Matt the wood is lovely as it has great grain and markings and colour, I like the orange resin it really goes nice with the wood. The speakers and box for playing music on are brilliant well done you really are clever and talented. Amanda xx
Had to share this with my brother (as I do with most of your other videos, I am sure he is well inundated by now!)... But this one had particular poignancy as he and I we fashion and assemble speaker boxes when we were wee lads using slabs of Styrofoam to mount 3-way speakers on either side of our beds providing beautiful stereophonic sound from a tape deck that only provided a mono output... At least we had left and right speakers even though they were coming from the same signal. Needless to say ours we're quite modest in comparison to what you presented here. Perhaps one day I can follow your example and present him with something special. I sincerely hope you will enjoy the sounds that this assembly and creation will provide! Thank you again for sharing it with us and thank you again most heartedly for the inspiration and the idea! I really enjoy torturing myself watching the videos you offer. THANK YOU! AGAIN...
@@MattJordanWoodturning The acoustic parameters are an unknown, 360 degree sources will cause much more planar interferences that regular conical emittors, and adding the by-design upper bounce to boot will introduce a high degree of nonlinearities to the system.
@@mikelabyrinth the acoustic parameters are known just as much for this as any other system. As for being omnidirectional, this has been done for decades, there are pro and cons for all systems. But to doubt the sound quality would be extremely nieve. Interesting thing is when people talk about sound or quality issues they have to refer to testing carried out to pick up a perceived issue, due to the fact there own ears can actually hear it.
Absolutely beautiful. Although does it really make sense to have that upfiring? That looks perfect to be flipped over and down firing if you put a properly weighted woofer in there then put the tweeter and or full range woofer upfiring on the new top which is its current bottom. Since they are facing away from each other they would do well and look just as good and you would get the dimensions of deep percussion on you beautiful wood cover plus dimensional upward firing drivers. Oh wait you do have a passive radiator on he bottom not bad. Although the bass does better on its own deep flat wood bass like you said and the highs does better having a clear but slightly angled shot to your ceiling.
That's an absolutely beautiful project! I'll tuck this away for future inspiration for sure. How is the sound quality? Those look like tiny little drivers and UA-cam can't really convey the sound well.
Ding fries are done, ding fries are done. Eat them up yum ! 🤣😂 Wood in the toaster oven , brilliant. What drivers did you use? This turned out really good. I love doing audio stuff.
Amazing work Matt! I'm a newbie to epoxy. The Total Boat Fathom I bought says you can pour up to 3" deep. Your castings look deeper than that. How do you do it? Long curing time? Thank you for the work you put into these videos!
Thanks, the total depth you can pour is only on the thickness, not the length. So for a river table how deep is the thickness of the table, the a actual thickness of this was about a maximum of 3/4". And the length is what you thought was the thickness. Hope that makes sense
Wonderful, far out, what can I say, absolutely incredible! Did I mention the amazing colours? Wow!

Cool beyond belief. So wood-turning and electronics. The vision and the craftsmanship to follow it through. Whoa!
Amazing, Matt! That's a work of art! 😃
Really well done!!!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊

When it comes to your ideas, I am never less than amazed! Another masterpiece.

I am very impressed with your metal turning skills for that finial. My mouth was legitimately hanging open (no hyperbole) 5:53
It is mesmerizing to see wood transformed into art. Better yet art that is functioning. Well done, thank you for this.
Incredible work as always. Real nice touch with the carbon fiber.
Thanks Mike
You always amaze me with your work. Love watching it become a masterpeice

Not your typical woodturning video I love it! I was wondering where you were going when I saw the brass and you had me till the end!
What an awesome design! The whole set-up turned out great 👍 ❤

That is a dope stereo system
Fantastic percission
Amazing
Amazing! 😍
Thank you! Cheers!
Just a man, his wood and his tools 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It's amazing 👍👍
Just mindblown!
Like 👍👍👍
Very beautiful. Very sceptical about the sound quality.
Thanks, why would you be sceptical about the sound quality? Good driver manufacturer, good amp and all calculations done for volumes etc.

Very precise work. Always looks great.
So creative
Круто! Ура, товарищи! И всё это делает человек!

@4:55 mmm, wood toast!
Some men toast their sandwiches, others, their Applewood.
Unique !!
Awsome!
That’s beautiful, I just wish that the top 3 screws were flush.
What are the little brass points above the speakers supposed to be for??
My wife said: a different thing.
I said: beautiful!!!
💯👍Awesome! It's so creative. You are indeed skillful master. Thank you for your clipe, Mr Matt . P.S. How much do you appreciate this your thing?:))
Just wow
Wow!
Don you are craftsman

Sound quality is good, I normally try to match and set the amp up so it can handle most must types of music at max volume with distortion or clipping
Great as always. My turnings are never as functional as yours.
Amazing, mate. Seriously amazing. One can tell how much work was put into this, i hope you get a great price.
Btw, what's the kewl music at the end?
Thanks, if you go to the description the music is listed by UA-cam
Oh great, added to my library. Wonderful how it all turned out in the end.
I both got to watch a master at work and i found new music
Nice
Thanks
Absolutely stunning, the resin and the brass compliment the wood so beautifully! Where do you get your speaker kits?
Dayton audio drivers are available in lots of places online 👍
@@MattJordanWoodturning cool thanks Matt!
Very nice. May I ask if that raised metal? is for better acoustics?
Thanks, the shape is for acoustics but using brass was aesthetic only, i could of just used wood.
Ding fries are done, ding fries are done. Eat them up yum ! 🤣😂 Wood in the toaster oven , brilliant.
What drivers did you use? This turned out really good. I love doing audio stuff.
Thanks, driver info in description
Mr. Matt you are awesome!!! How do I get blue prints for this one?
Thanks, I don't make plans really, other than a dodgy sketch

@@MattJordanWoodturning Thank you for the reply!
Nice job!
Which amplifier board did you use?
wai wait how long and at what temperature (in °C) the wood should be in the oven to dry
Temperature starts around 40, then is brought up slowly to about 106, time is based on how much weight is lost as it dries.
What kind of wax or polisher do you use on your work?
Varies from piece to piece, but Danish Oil is a favourite then a Beeswax polish
