Woodturning - Ideal for anyone with a TV

- If you've been wondering where I have been for the last month, here is the answer. Lots of hours of design, trial and error have gone into this.
For the left and right speakers I've used the Tang Band W4-2356, this driver allows you to create any shape you want for the speaker box, this is because it uses a off-axis design, reducing diffraction problems. You can view the drivers here tb-speaker.com/products/w4-2356
The Subwoofer is a W6-1139. The system is Powered by a 2 x 50W with a 100W Sub Output amplifier, the amplifier features bluetooth, wifi and optic in etc. It will also pair with the last speaker system I made, so the same music can be played at the same time through each.
I've made this as a prototype system in a way I can recreate with no issues, most of my other speakers are normally one offs just because I have used a certain piece of wood that I though would make a good speaker. I will be selling this prototype system soon on the website at a reduced cost, however I will also be offering for sale at the same time a new system but made to order, you can choose any colour you want, the custom built systems will be at full price however and made form Birch Ply as opposed to MDF.

The amount of planning that took. Wow. I was wondering why in the hell you used screws early on but at the end it came together. Even using walnut for the piping instead of PVC even though its hidden. Bravo sir

It's an interesting venture and I wish you luck. Having spent over 20 years working for the company that eventually marketed the Q Acoustic loudspeakers I know it's a difficult path.

no matter how bright a speaker manages to get, you should always use treble! There is a reason why almost all speaker manufacturers use treble in their speakers!
There's a 5 inch midrange I've listened to that has a built-in treble. You won't be able to see that it has it, neither on the magnet nor the dust cap. you see only 2 sets of terminals.
Always wondered if having a sub enclosure with spherical internal air space would be superior, the thought being it would cause the sound waves to not cancel out on bounce. do you think this is the case or am I just over thinking it?

@@MattJordanWoodturning try reversing polarity of one speaker , that will put your speakers out of phase and give you a wider perception of sound
