I bought one of these last year brand new for $19k with an extended warranty included. It’s a sweet ride. The guy pretty much nailed it. If you want a CUV that’s stylish and affordable, this is the car for you. But if you want a classic Jeep experience, I’d get another model.

What do you mean when you say,"" If reliability isn't important to you"". Then consider the 17 jeep Cherokee? Are you saying the jeep Cherokee is NOT Reliable?

It's actually a 3.2ltr v6 , I wish Jeep put the 3.6ltr in it I would bought immediately. Also didn't mention how the back bench slides back and forth.

I have a 15 Latitude with 4 cyl and 92000 miles. Only problem was a thermostat when new, common for them, and a bad rear wheel bearing. The 4 cyl is enough if you don't want to tow.
Headlights suck. Too close to the road, especially in rain, and they collect snow and dirt in winter. No light to the sides. Also on low beam they don't shine high enough to light up road signs.
The headlights are supposedly fixed on the '19's. I plan to test one in the dark to make sure before I buy one again.

Yall, do not buy any four cylinder jeeps. They are basically a lemon. Chrysler is being sued right now for their 2.4L four cylinder motor! I had a 2017 cherokee bought it with 44k miles and before 50k miles, it ran out of oil despite the oil life being around 40 percent or so. Trust me, this is not a long term vehicle. I traded mine in for a 2018 v6 Jeep Grand Cherokee Altitude 3.6L with 20k miles.

The oil life tracks how old your oil is, not how much is left.
Yes, the 2.4l 4 cylinder engine consumes a little bit of oil and so you should make sure you keep it topped off, but the engine itself is very reliable if properly maintained.
Very few issues reported other than the oil consumption.
The 3.2l v6 has more issues, from the plastic oil filter housing cracking, resulting in an actual oil leak, to camshaft wear due to a bad design of the pe taster engines that hasn’t been addressed at all.
