What a great comparison thanks! I especially appreciate the tip-down view, it helps balance what I think which last shape would be best for my feet vs which shape is most appealing. It may be time to try a whole cut, just not sure if they are versatile enough, although, so what.

I think what you're missing with the weymouth is the access to the new handgrade lasts. These look like weymouth version 1 from the medallion. The new handgrade lasts (such as 367 and 373) offer significantly narrower heel and waist. I am a fan of the 337 last, but while it's perfect for the front of my foot, i always get a little heel slip. The 367 looks visually identical, but offers a narrower heel portion, same as the 373 (which offers almost 348 levels of chisel and elongation).
I'd suggest trying something on a 367 / 373 and let us know what you think. For me 367 was up there with TG73 for one of my best fitting lasts.

Great feedback. I’ll check that out.

The ‘Antique’ patina finish of C&J handgrades is very well done, particularly if you lean more towards conservative, traditional styling - understated but adds a good depth of colour. Loake Export Grade also has antiquing and (at least based on the pairs I own) the effect is far superior on the C&Js. Of course you lose this benefit in black.

It’s one of the sword designs from Lord of the Rings.

I have an admission to make: I came primarily for the swords on your wall lol. Do you cosplay? Practice Martial Arts? Simply love collecting swords? All of the aforementioned?

I collected swords primarily before I started with shoes. I have sections for movie inspired, medieval, knifes and daggers, and Asian. I did fence for a while which inspired the collecting.
