Funny, I wore black shoes as part of my rotation in work and a female colleague asked if I'd been to a funeral! I normally wear brown shoes of various shades. I have two pairs in black: a Meermin cap toe and a rather special pair of John White cap toes: they seem to be of an almost hand grade quality! Have some age as John White now make, well, not very good quality shoes anymore ... I actually liked wearing the black cap toes but my wardrobe is less styled for black shoes.... good to have them though.
I have a pair of black cap toes and black wingtips. I wear the cap toes to church and that’s about it. The wingtips I don’t wear much. Want to get black Chelsea boots and that will be it for me when it comes to black shoes.
Crockett And Jones Shoes, very nice bone shoes. British are the best shoemakers in the world other countries run a close second.
