- Motherwell Football Club are a Scottish football team based in Lanarkshire, just outside of Glasgow. Their home ground is called Fir Park.
In this vlog I investigated the stadium as well as looked into their illustrious past. They've won the league title once, have two Scottish Cups to their name and have even beaten Real Madrid. They've also played against Barcelona and the Argentinian National Team!

Motherwell also beat Tottenham 3-1 in the 1970/71 Taxaco Cup in front of 22,000 people, knocking them out of the competition :)

King Alfonso of Spain also presented Motherwell Fc with the King of Spain Cup (Coppa del Rey) after this tour, so Motherwell are the only club side outside of Spain to hold the Coppa Del Rey trophy in their Trophy room till this day.

Davie Cooper is one of my all time favourite players. Ruud Gullitt once said about Davie "He's one of the most talented players i've played against" when Holland played Scotland. High praise from one legend to another.

Great vid I’m a Motherwell fan and have been for many years introduced by my dad who was at the Scottish cup win in the 90s. U should come back and see us when we are aloud back in we have a great atmosphere especially against the old firm and Hamilton but anyway good work on the vid 😁

Another fascinating Vid Sam. Although I've been a lifelong Rangers fan, I've always had a bit of a soft spot for Motherwell, since they were my dad's favourite team. A team with a long and very interesting history. My Dad used to make a joke that "Kilmarnock played for Motherwell", since Willie Kilmarnock played for Motherwell in the 1940s and 50s.

The colours Of Motherwell football club actually came from a jockey that ran at the Hamilton track and had the colours Claret and amber and that’s how we got the colours

Aye hi there that is nice about my team and home I am Motherwell great to see I am in Canada not but still support and people there keep me in touch everything. Up the Well we say especially Winning the Scottish Cup 1990-91 Motherwell 4-3 Dundee United. Also I love our colours. Go Cooper. Plus we are fully community owned as well how many teams can say that? I really like the finish there cheers

I am from Norway and Fredrikstad FK, Rosenborg, Bodø Glimt and Kristiansund have schocked Europe. Fredrikstad FK won over Ajax 4-3 in 1960, Rosenborg have won over AC Milan and Real Madrid in the 90s, Bodø Glimt won 6-1 over AS Roma in 2021 and Kristiansund just lost 1-0 to Manchester United.

Was in Germany for Dortmund game.As knew some german there fans were laughing and saying how many goals they score. Afterwards, they showed us the respect we deserved when only scoring 1 goal though having nearly all the German national team at the time COYW

Couldn't agree more! I don't think any country quite has the history of the Scottish teams. From being pioneers in the 1800s to Celtic being the first British EC winners, it's class!

Rangers fans also defaced the fir park stadium surrounding earlier this season.both rangers and celtic are as bad as each other tbh.

@@leadier Is it not more likely its just worn down? It does look pretty old and rusty with the nail missing. If its deliberate they've not done a very good job as you can still see it says Motherwell. Think they'd use spray paint or something.

In terms of Motherwell there
Current club Crest dates back to
1982 & as Ravincraig Steelworks closed in 1992 & is still depicted on there club crest to this day I would suggest there club crest needs updated badly.
I also feel that Fir Park needs rebuilt
with only The Davie Cooper Stand & South Stands really fit for modern Stadium standards ether that or they need to move to a new Stadium within Motherwell.
Personally I have always thought Motherwell had the worst
football club colours in all of Scotland.
One of Motherwell F.C's Nicknames is The Dossers'
it is suggested that this could be a reference to the steel workers who used to sleep during the nightshift at the steelworks! as in dossing down for the night.
I would suggest having a deeper look at Livingston F.C's history & starting right at the beginning when they where Ferranti Thistle in 1943
that could make an interesting vlog.
