  • This video 8 tape recorded Komo News the day Ted Bundy was executed in Florida. They interview people that were at the execution and had people on to talk about whether or not pornography causes people to be like Ted Bundy. There is a commercial with Steve Largent and his wife buying a minivan that you'd see at the junk yard or Whiteys Car Auction. Steve Pool is at the very end. Kathi Gortzen and Dan Lewis tear it up.

    Ted Bundy, it appears, did not like being on the recieving end of death. It is a sad irony that he was so fearful of death while gaining so much pleasure from killing others.

      its hard to say, he could have acted that way to fuck with the families or to try to get a stay? He did say he didn't want to die, but he also set himself up to be executed and also died with a smile on his face. We will never know, Carl Panzram apparently was fine with death (prior to being hung, he told them to hurry up and spit in the executioners face) and some violent criminals request firing squads.

    The cheers and applause after Bundys execution were appropriate. However, the carnival atmosphere that preceded it ( the songs, the mocking, the t-shirts and effigies, etc.) were not. It is because of that type of atmosphere that executions are no longer public and never will be. Ted Bundy was a man who turned into a monster who turned back into a man when confronted with his crimes and his own death. As such, his death was justified both legally and morally. I believe the woman who was crying was not crying for Ted Bundy himself, but because of the atmosphere around a man who was responsible for so many tragic deaths and sorrow in the country. In my opinion, and only my opinion, the appropriate behavior would have been for the people to stand there quietly just solemnly looking with hatred towards the execution chamber, waiting for the signal, and then they could cheer and scream and yell as much as they want.

      If I had my choice if I had been there, I would have been with those that were celebrating prior, during and after the execution. With all of the destruction of human life and sorrow that Bundy left in his wake, it was appropriate to celebrate justice and the death of an animal who had no human feeling. I hurt and sob for Bundy's victims and their families and not Ted Bundy.

      Utter nonsense. Bundy was NEVER a man indeed a human being- he was a ruthless predatory wolverine , a ruthless murdering coward . How pious , and egotistical, if you to tell decent folk how to behave at such a unique event . How thick is your ‘ rule book’ Bible size I’m guessing 🤔. They are letting of emotion - quite possibly locals who have lived under fear of their girls lives for years - thought of that have you?

    this man was possessed by the devil....my only thought is that he may have escaped prison again...if so he would have gone on another murderous rampage....remember what happened on his 2nd escape.....so i guess the electric chair as death penalty is appropriate for this case.......i don't think that one woman should have been crying for him,,,he wouldn't have showed her or any of her girlfriends mercy if he caught them......no comment on the cheering......this obviously was personal to some people so i can't criticize them for it....my only excuse for this man was that he was possessed by the devil...chosen and controlled by the devil....therefore he probably had to be put to death.....i wouldn't doubt that he probably would have escaped prison again with the aid of the demon that was in him.....the killing would have only continued

    Bundy was executed "relatively quickly" at only 10 years on death row compared to other inmates who have a better chance of dying of old age than they do being executed. Our prisons are FULL of evil, sadistic monsters that should have been executed within 3 months of being found guilty with 100% certainty. I would like to see 100 executions per day until our prisons are purged of these sewer rats.

    from what i know about psychology, and i ve had a lot of experience...for example in mental institutions.....i d say bundys last interview, he was being manpilulative, once again. pornography doesn t create serial killers. however, if inside the person is violent within and is obessive, they can get into bad porn....violent. and porn doesn t create a violent person. bad porn can add to it. but the person has to have his own violent inner self....it is complicated..bundy was lying. he wanted to play people , to almost blame porn and not himself.

      His mom was a big part of his hatred towards women..She pretended to be his older sister, and gave him away to her parents. She had sex with her father and became pregnant of the monster. Mother, grandpa, and even his grandma were all sickos. He placed knives on top of his aunts bed, as she was sleeping. When his aunt woke up, she found him standing next to her with a big smile.
      She told his mom, and his mom brushed it off. Three years old!!! His upbringing, (He needed to get spanked) the fact that he was an inbreed, (Researchers found that inbreeding causes schizophrenia) and his psychologic pain, when he found out that his father, was actually his grandpa, but biologically was his real father, caused this hatred towards sexually active people.

    Ted never really said "violent pornography". He said he was obsessed with "detective magazines", and that he saw some soft core porn, and some of a more graphic nature. They don't even sell those detective magazines anymore. People in this day and age don't even realize what they were like. The detective magazines that Ted was talking about showed young, sexy women, scantily clad, and in vulnerable, compromising positions at the hands of men. The women were depicted with ropes around their necks, tied up, chained upside down, etc. And, the women depicted in these magazines were all made to submit to the hands and power of men. I do believe that reading comics like that at a young age could definitely have helped to shape and warp Ted into the evil man he became.

    A firm believer of capital punisment as I am by no means I entertain the idea that it should be met as a carnival occasion. People who were cheereing outside the prison limitations and were singiing mediocre songs were morally no higher than him. Yes, he deserved what faith fell upon him, but turning it into a festivity brings shame on the people who did it. A little offtopic but ... I loved it how that piggish woman interviewed outside the prison was caught on camera saying 'It could have been me'. Oh really? Even Ted Bundy was not that desperate. It strikes me as immensly egoistic to say such a thing. The undercurrent of what she said is actually that she is there to celebrate the death of murderer who by chance did not kill her. Where is the sympathy for the actual victims?

      So i pose you a question hope be kind Enough answer it. So my question what is correct about Death penality. • @balletshoes
      @balletshoes 7 років тому +2

      I presume your question goes to me, so I stand to answer here. Nobody says the world would become a better place simply because somewhere somebody has pulled the switch and electrocuted a death row inmate. But do you honestly believe that taking only his freedom you tip the scales of justice? Is it fair that he lives when so many people had dies violently at his hands? Feel free to not answer. I do not demand that.

    • @andymanser1
      @andymanser1 7 років тому +2

      So killing is replaced by killing.? People stand outside prisons with firework's glasses of wine cheering? Any killing in any form wrong but its state premediated murder. Nothing tips scales of justice in any ones favour. Does it solve crime no. The statistics are quite compelling. Look at country USA for a start drugs poverty politicians judges there divorced real issues. So lets look it another way instead solving issues just go execute couple black inmates and all rest that really solves the issues. Go have watch on y tube Edward Earl johnson and 14 days in may look at clive stafford smith y tube videos on death penality. I respect your right your opinion but it was your staunch support of death penality did question. This was my question to you. Hope day good.

    • @balletshoes
      @balletshoes 7 років тому +1

      Politics, poverty, drugs have got nothing to do with capital punishment. What you are doing is dragging me through different ideas and phylosophies which serves no point, yet you believe it is enough to challenge my firm believes which I am going to repeat. So a person decides to kill, for whatever reasons he might come up with. He tortures, beats, kills, dismembers and destroys and the only tool we have to 'handle' them or to 'punish' them the latter is a believe something you would question as well, is just taking his freedom. How does that work as justice? If you keep a murderer under key and lock this is prevention not punishment. These people on top of everything else live the lives of rock stars - claiming their human, notice, rights and making money out of memorabilia and books. Where do you see justice in all that? Actually, I don't want to know, you've already told me by sending me to watch some people on the internet. Oh, and by the way - 'Hope day good'? Where are all the verbs and pronouns in this sentence?
