tip: don’t be put off by other students on your course when you go to university. it might just be a personal issue that you cannot relate to at all or you might actually find yourself at the top of the class (kudos to you if so!), but i remember feeling quite demotivated and frankly unintelligent when i first started studying law at university in september. it was the first time i realised just how many other intelligent and hard-working students there are out there and that i wouldn’t be at the top end of the class like i was in high school and sixth form. i stressed myself out by thinking of how other students were coping really well with the course (my tutorial group were so smart, i felt like a complete idiot!) while myself and others were struggling to get to grips with it. i learnt that you shouldn’t worry about others and compare your high school/ sixth form experience to your university one, you should just focus on yourself and learn at your own pace. in the end, i felt much more confident about the material! for some of us, it takes a little more time but at the end of it all, everything will work out. i’m sure you’ll do amazingly nonetheless, but just a heads up in case you ever feel this way. good luck!
Amber Griffiths i’m not particularly comfortable sharing the specific university in a public space for privacy reasons, as i’ve already mentioned what course i’m on and what year i‘m in, but i study at a russell group university in london. i hope you understand! :)
rainytae yes of course I understand. It was only because I’m planning on studying law at uni and am applying this upcoming year and am still undecided on where to go and was wondering if you were enjoying law at your uni but i completely understand x
Amber Griffiths thank you for understanding! you can totally message me if you want any specific advice or information about the course, because i have a lot to share! generally, i would say that law lives up to its reputation: it is difficult (especially because it’s a subject that you’ve likely never studied before) and time-consuming, but i definitely feel that as time passes, you find yourself enjoying the course more and being able to balance the workload. i really enjoyed contract and public law, which i think are two modules most universities make students study in their first year. many students have said that second year is much more interesting and you have a better idea of what is expected of you! a key piece of advice: you will be expected to start exploring your career and law firms from the very beginning, so i advise you to ensure that you have a lot to put on your CV/ applications, if you’re absolutely sure you want to be a lawyer. this includes volunteering, part-time jobs (legal work experience is not a requirement, employers like non-legal experience just as much) and any sports/ other activities that you enjoy, as well as ensuring you get involved with societies at your current school or when you start university. law firms are really keen on ‘commercial awareness’ and individuals that show more than just academic achievement; they start looking for potential recruits from first year, through open days and first year workshops (make sure you try to apply to these! i’d say that most of the opportunities for these are here, in london. it’s a great place to study, as it’s where all the major law firms are located). if you want to know anything else, please do message me :) 💕
I'm about to go into my third year at university- two tips I have are 1.) Don't have any expectations. How you picture university and what your university experience will be like now will be way of your actual experience. 2.) The 'adult' stuff eg. sorting doctors, budgeting is something most people have not got a clue about. You will work it out together and your uni will provide support should you struggle with any of it. I am sure you will have an amazing time, thing to remember is enjoy it!
I know I've commented this recently on another video, but just to reiterate - I honestly have yet to hear of a degree that's easier than the respective A levels, otherwise what value would degrees have? This isn't meant to scare you off in any way at all - in the same way A levels are much harder than GCSEs, but everyone makes it through the transition okay because they're older and wiser, the same is true of the step up from A levels to degree, and I'm sure you (and everyone else reading this) will do well. I just think you need to be cautious with starting a degree with the attitude that it's going to easier than what you're used to, because then the jump up in difficulty could catch you completely unaware and that would make it so much harder. For context, I took 5 subjects in Year 13, and still found there to be a big step up in workload and difficultly when I started first year - and that's ignoring all the extra responsibilities you gain when you move out of home.
Nooo I don’t think they are easier!!! I said I’ve heard a lot of people say that but in no way would I believe that lol - I wouldn’t go to uni if it didn’t want to be stretched and challenged, would be a waste of time and money! X
The thing with A levels is there is much more pressure placed onto students to do well which makes them seem a lot harder. I am studying biology at university and the transition seemed almost non-existent because you are independent and don't have teachers moaning in your ear.
Revision With Eve Ah sorry, I must have misinterpreted what you said! I've also heard it quite a lot, and it just worries me because I feel like some people who hear it might start university and then feel completely out of their depth, whereas if they'd been prepared for the step up they'd be able to work through it. I feel exactly the same way re being stretched and challenged (... most of the time!), and I'm sure wherever you end up you'll end up doing brilliantly :) x
dude14377 hm, that's a good point about external pressure etc - I've actually found there to be a similar amount, but from me putting it on myself now due to the huge amounts of money involved, if that makes sense? hope your degree is going well :) x
Ahh Eve I’m so excited for you to *hopefully* start at Ox!! My one HUGE piece of advice is to please, please enjoy your summer & don’t stress about work etc. because, as you said, it’s the only chance to truly relax and not be constantly thinking about work (especially as you’re not taking a gap year - so pls make the most of it because it only goes downhill from here lol). If you’ve watched my first year uni experience video, I spoke about how everyone catches up to the same level once you start regardless of how much work you’ve done before tbh so it really isn’t worth stressing over & losing precious chill time. This summer is the only summer you’ll have without really needing to do a huge amount of work so really do make the most of it. No amount of prep will prepare you for Oxford’s workload so honestly no worth worrying about (easier said than done, I know) xx
What Georgie Did that is actually a great thing! Before I started living on my own I had NO IDEA how much time and effort food shopping and cooking takes. Also, nobody really ever taught me to cook and I feel like many teenagers nowadays are in a similar situation :/
A word of caution from a current Masters student: Expect your performance to be lower than usual at the start of uni. I went from straight As at A level to scoring in the 50s in my first set of Winter exams, and it really discouraged me. However, this is mainly because of having to adjust to new marking requirements. Uni work tends to be a lot different to how it is at A Level, it's not "harder" as such, but just different to what you're used to. Over time you adjust to the new requirements and learn how to score the marks (just as you would have done at A level having to adjust from GCSE criteria). With your work ethic and intuition, I have no doubt that you'll be fine, just don't let the initial leap put you off, use your first year to get a feel for what is expected of you :)
It will be interesting if you do a video on what kind of a student you were in the early years such as key stage 1, 2 and 3 . How did you study back then and how have you evolve to get to where you are now.
Shannon Marsh thank you for the reply. I did not really go to school and missed out on a lot of schooling. So I just wondered how to catch up and fill the gaps of those missing years. I just wondered on what books to read. Or the difference between learning in lower level and higher level
Oh right, sorry if I sounded rude I didn’t mean it to come across that way. If you can read, write and do maths now then the key stage 1 and 2 books would be no use to you as they’d be so easy. I’m not sure she’d remember her time at primary school, I know I don’t 😂 x
Re: prep for uni, I’ve just finished my second year at uni 1) keep the cardboard boxes from IKEA stuff cause they’re much easier to pack clothes in for the drive to uni, and you can keep them at uni and fit much easier inot the car than random suitcase. 2) print loads of pictures (free prints is the best) to take with you 3) buy/take your own desk lamp 4) have a set of everything (even toothbrush) at home and uni 5) have an overdraft that covers emergency home train journey (buy a rail card) 6) remember to buy two sets of duvets etc - if you’ve just washed one, trust me sleeping on a uni bed with no sheets isn’t fun 8) ethernet cable - wifi is rubbish 9) save the accomodation security phone number in your phone 10) Enjoy uni - yes it’s hard, busy, stressful at times but the best time of your life and you’ll meet the most amazing people and make loads of friends! Sadly it goes by really fast!!
PLEASEEEEE do an overview of each subject throughout the whole of sixth form, like how you made notes or revised as you went along etc. I’m doing English and languages next year and this would be super helpful ❤️❤️
Yes Eve!! Im always so happy to see you do sponsored videos, because I’m glad to see you succeed and establish a youtube career that can support you during your studies! ❤️💕
Please please please don’t worry too much! Of course uni is hard, I found my first year to be challenging but rewarding! You make some amazing friends on your course and you motivate each other because you wanna do well. It’s not a big competition and I don’t want you to stress out too much... enjoy the experience!
I'd love to see more uni related videos! Videos like room tour, first week at uni, moving in day vlog, more preparation videos for uni... I'm really happy for you and hope everything comes out nicely! Lots of love from Portugal!
Definitely do not stress over summer!!! This'll be your last fully free and chill summer for a longgggg time (maybe til retirement lol) so make the most of it ✨ Once uni starts everyone pretty quickly gets on the same level for there's no need to worry!
Hi Eve! I am from Argentina and in case you need TV, movie and/or book recommendations, here are some: Money Heist (Spanish TV series, sucks you right in), Los Simuladores (Argentine TV series), Casado con hijos (Argentine TV series, sitcom style), El secreto de sus ojos (Argentine Academy Award winning movie), TOC TOC (hilarious Spanish movie). Books: anything by Gabriel García Márquez (his books are modern classics but don’t let that intimidate you, his books are very enjoyable and some are short and sweet), Bestiario by Julio Cortázar, La tía Julia y el escribidor by Vargas Llosa.
When it gets nearer to the time and you start packing, make sure you make lists and go through your house thinking of everything you'll need! You'll be surprised at the things you could forget, I forgot to take nail clippers with me and it was so inconvenient when I realised that! :'D also as general tips for living in halls, take a fan and a blanket (cause your radiator might not work properly), and if you don't have an en suite take some old flip flops or some kind of shoes to wear in the shared showers. Might just be me being a clean freak, but I NEVER walked around in my first year flat with my bare feet just in case :')
I'm starting at uni in September too and I'd be interesting in seeing cooking vlogs- eg ideas for things to make at uni, shopping and what you are taking to uni, what kind of luggage, what clothes etc
From my opinion, I think that being around people that are all working at the same level as you or even higher will probably motivate you more because then you'll want to put the work in to get the same results as them x
Panda Clare It really depends on the persons. I don’t feel motivated over ppl that are working at my level or higher; it´s just really stressfull and you lost lots of confidence, trust me ! xx
Hermione Granger i feel the exact same! i found my first year of university difficult because suddenly, everyone on my course was working at the same level as me, or better. that was my first experience of not being in the top end of the class and truly realising that actually, there are so many other hard-working and intelligent students out there. honestly, it really demotivated me and made me feel unintelligent, so i totally relate 🌟
You are so amazing Eve! You will definitely get into Oxford! And when you do, you need too make an Oxford Uni move in day vlog. I watch loads of them but there aren`t many around. You one would be awesome in September or October. Good luck Xx
Loved the vid! Also sending huge good luck vibes for results day and Oxford, I was in the same position last year, and managed to get into Robert Gordon uni in Aberdeen! I'm also from Edinburgh, it's a lovely city to study in from what I've heard, but it is far away from Birmingham, so understandable! 😚😚
I really also don't understand the hate you're getting on twitter for it being an ad? It wasn't as if you were banging on about it for half the video, honestly what 😂😭
I believe she goes to a selective Grammar School. Those places love to get people to Oxbridge so prepare students specifically for the process. Plus those Unis almost expect they will take so many from such and such a Grammar School. It’s unfair because it’s a State education but it’s not the same for all kids all round the country.
NickyL yeah I think grammar schools are unfair because they don’t have them in every part of the country. There are no grammar schools in my county so if I wanted to have the same advantage as people who go to one I’d have to pay to go to a private school 🙄
I go to a grammar school and I guarantee you that although people may think it's unfair, we (8/10 people) achieve these grades by ourselves or with the help of extra tutors. The teachers at my school don't provide much support and aren't very good at teaching tbh. It's not that great going to a grammar school and I can honestly go on about how crap it is.
Unis actually prefer students who went to a non-selective school and got the same grades as another student who came from a grammar school. So if you work hard, you can do it!
chimwim it’s not all about the grades - I’m predicted 4A*s. It’s about performing in the admissions test and interview. In my year 6 of us applied to oxford/Cambridge & 5 got interviews but none got in. I didn’t even get a mock interview from my school cos they have no idea what they’re doing. You can work incredibly hard and still not get in, as shown from my school. And while university’s would like to seem inclusive, at the end of the day they take the students who perform best at interview, and these seem to be the ones who have had loads of preparation from their school
We love a queen getting relevant and interesting spons! You get that money gal, and it was an amazing video as always. Good luck with everything, I'm sure you aced your exams x
But this is so helpful. I felt I was the only one who felt the need for an academic break. I wanted to read for leisure as everytime I did something academic related I got anxious about my exams. I agree though: going to just relax and enjoy myself this summer as next year will be another huge jump so may aswell
eve could you please do a video on how you tackled your a level english coursework, because we r now starting that at sixth form and it is really stressing me out
Fab video! I'm definitely feeling very similar to you, I'm scared but very excited! The main thing I need to do to prepare is practice cooking, and I also need to buy some things but I'm lucky to not have a reading list so that's a bonus!
Your videos have given me so much motivation to work hard and aim for university, thank you so much! by the way i've been wondering what job/career do you want to do after university?
Video idea: I've just finished uni and it was nothing like I had expected. It would be interesting if you did an expectations video when you know where you're going and start getting info about freshers etc and then after a few months or even after your first year do a reality video looking back to compare?
I'd say to double up your essential toiletries so that when you go home for quick visits/holidays you don't have to cart them all back and forth! I'm used to getting trains to & from uni (200+ mile journey) so carrying clothes, books AND toiletries is just too much 😂
Please can you make a video about how you got into Oxford and your best tips and advice, for things like personal statement, admissions tests and interviews xxx
i’ve already started buying for uni haha, but i’m honestly just chilling and trying to save up some cash, not really got a plan as idk if i have a reading list for before uni
I’ve just finished my first year of Politics and IR. I completely understand the academic thing, you might feel like a bit of an imposter for a while as if you don’t belong there. I was the same, took me ages and talking to my advisor that I actually did belong to the university and they did want me to do well. If you get into Edinburgh (I study at Dundee), Scottish universities are some of the best in the world, because you meet so many people from everywhere and plus it’s a beautiful city! University is a strange transition from school, university obviously grades a lot differently. You may have an alphanumeric system (A1-D3) which is very strange to get used to because a D is a pass?!? The one thing I’d suggest is honestly say yes to everything! Want to go out on a Tuesday with course mates even though you’ve got a 9am, do it! as long as you get the necessary grades you need to pass it’s all that matters. Money wise, universities will be able to help, since you’re English you’ll most likely be entitled to things such as RUK funding etc. But also look into scholarship/bursaries from your local councils, your subject areas and companies as they are always looking to help prospectus graduates! Anyways, you’ll be doing fine on results day, just try and relax and maybe get into a uni group on Facebook and start meeting people that’s how I met 2/5 flatmates in 1st year ☺️
Coming from a Korean and Japanese language student, degrees are MUCH more difficult than a levels. A levels were piss easy in comparison. I don’t go to oxford but your workload is going to be much more challenging than a levels. Trust.
Don't go with unite. I was with them in Leeds and over exams the accommodation flooded from the 8th floor. Went all the way down to reception and I had to move out. It was awful!
Eve you are just the best! I’m in awe of how hard working you are and next year (year 13 💩) I am going to be like you and work my butt off to get to uni
Teachers always say that you need to do at least an hour of revision for every lesson that you do, what kind of revision do you think it best to be doing? I'm starting year 13 next year and wanna do as well as I can x
I might be going to Edinburgh as well (I mean I'm sure you'll get the grades but you know). I'm going up there for the first time tomorrow, still really not sure what i'm going to do to be honest. I'm exactly with you as i don't want to do anything until everything's been decided with results day.
Emma Doran I went to Edinburgh recently for a few days just to visit, and it’s a beautiful city!! (I vlogged it too if youre interested) but Theres so much to see and do and everyone is so friendly, I’ve only heard good things about the uni so I’m sure if you do end up going there you’ll love it!!
Start buying things each week when you buy food, like washing up liquid, wash powder, food ingredients etc so that you don’t suddenly have to but them the week before.
I’ll attend Edinburgh next fall as well :) as an international student I have to plan the logistics of the move, focus on vocabulary as I previously studied everything in another language and try to figure out adulting xx but I don’t think any of this really applies to you 😂
Does anybody have any advice on choosing a uni? I live very far away from any unis that seem "good", so I can't visit them, I don't know a single person that attends them. Even if I were able to visit, I don't know what to look out for and what to ask about?
Cønfused how old are you? When it’s time to start looking at unis, your college/sixth form should give you loads of help with it, I had absolutely no idea where to start before I got this guidance!!
Cønfused apart from that google which unis are best for your course, always choose on course content first and foremost, order prospectuses online, go to UCAS fairs if you can go avoid travel, but you will have to visit the unis in your shortlist eventually because there really isn’t any comparable way to decide!!
Emily Herbert the biggest problem here is I'm Polish. I'm thinking of studying either in Warsaw (I live 360km away though) or in the UK. I'm turning 18 in less than 2 weeks but I attend a Polish high school, so I'll graduate in 2019 and we don't really get that much help with choosing. I could maybe visit some unis in Warsaw but what should I look out for? How do I find out if it suits me?
read the modules! degrees with the same title may be totally different at different unis, so have a look at what the course actually contains - I'd prioritise choosing a course (specifically at a uni) over choosing a uni in general
You’ve literally voiced all my worries I have about uni! I have people asking me about uni becuase it’s so uncertain!!!! Love this vid! Where are you from btw?
I'm going to be studying English Literature and Language at the University of Edinburgh in September! and I'm also staying in Unite Students accommodation.
I’m basically in the same position as you - I’m also going to be studying Spanish and German at uni but I don’t want to start preparing for my firm until results day because I’m not sure I will have met my offer (A*AA) 😬 fingers crossed but I’m not that hopeful after my shambolic exam experience haha (ps. totally unrelated but I’m loving the chantaje outro)
If your scared about getting in I’m petrified😭. I need an AAA in English Lit History and Philosophy to get into my course at UCL. I can’t even do the preliminarily reading as if I don’t get in it’ll hurt more 😂
How does clearing even work? Like how do you prepare for it before results day because if I don't get into my firm I really don't want to go to my insurance. I have no idea how clearing works though
If you want to watch something in Spanish you should watch "Las chicas del cable", it's great! Espero que consigas entrar en Oxford, love from Barcelona ❤
Hey Eve, I am also going to University of Edinburgh for my BSC. Artificial Intelligence. I'm so excited to meet you there😍 Please come to Edinburgh, Scotland is beauteous😆
Hi Eve, would you be able to make a video on tips/ questions to think about when researching and deciding what you want to do after sixth form and looking at universities 💙
All I did to prepare was complete the transition work set by my school but if you don’t have any then you could probably go back over gcse work of the subjects you’re doing towards the end of the holidays so you haven’t forgotten everything x
Also - refrain from getting one of the free credit cards banks give out to Uni students. Only get one when you feel like you're ready or really could use it responsibly and still have good credit.
When prepping for uni vlog EVERYTHINGGGG. Uni vids are so interesting eg room tour, moving in vlog, ikea shopping etc.

Re: prep for uni,
I’ve just finished my second year at uni
1) keep the cardboard boxes from IKEA stuff cause they’re much easier to pack clothes in for the drive to uni, and you can keep them at uni and fit much easier inot the car than random suitcase.
2) print loads of pictures (free prints is the best) to take with you
3) buy/take your own desk lamp
4) have a set of everything (even toothbrush) at home and uni
5) have an overdraft that covers emergency home train journey (buy a rail card)
6) remember to buy two sets of duvets etc - if you’ve just washed one, trust me sleeping on a uni bed with no sheets isn’t fun
8) ethernet cable - wifi is rubbish
9) save the accomodation security phone number in your phone
10) Enjoy uni - yes it’s hard, busy, stressful at times but the best time of your life and you’ll meet the most amazing people and make loads of friends! Sadly it goes by really fast!!
PLEASEEEEE do an overview of each subject throughout the whole of sixth form, like how you made notes or revised as you went along etc. I’m doing English and languages next year and this would be super helpful ❤️❤️
Love love loved this video as always btw 💓
Uni shopping hauls - clothing, furniture, general are what I’d love to see
I'd love to see more uni related videos!
I know you got an offer from oxford, and i'm planning on applying this year so i'd find it really useful if you made a video on how to apply
Fab video Eve, but yoir eyes were closed for half of it
Is anyone else feeling lost without school. I miss the structure lmao shoot me
actually me like i feel as if i have no purpose anymore lol
I honestly feel like that every time exams finish so Idek what I’ll do with myself in year 11
Yall trippin
Same I don’t know what to do with myself. Luckily I have reading lists/ homework to keep me occupied (yes I’m a bod)
Atomic Elk i’m in uni but same i always feel completely lost and purposeless during summer break
The essentials for university would be smashing :D
Would love to see Uni prep vlogs updates etc and of course a haul
2:41-2:47 mini snooze
Daniel O'Callaghan haha 😂
Loved the vid! Also sending huge good luck vibes for results day and Oxford, I was in the same position last year, and managed to get into Robert Gordon uni in Aberdeen! I'm also from Edinburgh, it's a lovely city to study in from what I've heard, but it is far away from Birmingham, so understandable! 😚😚
I really also don't understand the hate you're getting on twitter for it being an ad? It wasn't as if you were banging on about it for half the video, honestly what 😂😭
Best wishes to you and good luck when you start this summer.
Wow how many people from your school got offers from Oxford?! No one in my school has ever got in
I believe she goes to a selective Grammar School.
I agree though: going to just relax and enjoy myself this summer as next year will be another huge jump so may aswell
eve could you please do a video on how you tackled your a level english coursework, because we r now starting that at sixth form and it is really stressing me out
Suzannah Musgrave omg talk about it girl....literally dying
Suzannah Musgrave OMGGG seriously....our one is due after the summer fortunately
Please can you do a video on how to prepare for year 12 over the summer x
Fab video! I'm definitely feeling very similar to you, I'm scared but very excited! The main thing I need to do to prepare is practice cooking, and I also need to buy some things but I'm lucky to not have a reading list so that's a bonus!
Hey eve!! Would you be able to do a video on how you prepared for the oxford application process and the aptitude tests you had to do? Thanks xxx
Your videos have given me so much motivation to work hard and aim for university, thank you so much! by the way i've been wondering what job/career do you want to do after university?
You know you should be worried about your grades when eve Bennett is going to make a clearance account 😖😖😖😖😣😣😣😭😭 worried
How could you dislike this Chanel. People can be so strange, this Chanel helps alot
Video idea: I've just finished uni and it was nothing like I had expected. It would be interesting if you did an expectations video when you know where you're going and start getting info about freshers etc and then after a few months or even after your first year do a reality video looking back to compare?
Hey Eve, I am 13 years old and am heading up to year 9 in September, I have a whole new revision timetable for over the summer as well. x
I'd say to double up your essential toiletries so that when you go home for quick visits/holidays you don't have to cart them all back and forth! I'm used to getting trains to & from uni (200+ mile journey) so carrying clothes, books AND toiletries is just too much 😂
1:24
Future Eve: hun you have no idea
You look absolutely stunning 😍😍
Any uni prep you’re doing would be helpful 😅 thanks for the helpful video :)
Please can you make a video about how you got into Oxford and your best tips and advice, for things like personal statement, admissions tests and interviews xxx
Can you make a video on year 12 summer prep for application to oxbridge? Xx you're amazing❤
Literally want you to get into oxford so much rooting for ya x
Absolutely love your videos! Thank you so much for your help 💜
i’ve already started buying for uni haha, but i’m honestly just chilling and trying to save up some cash, not really got a plan as idk if i have a reading list for before uni
Phew, I’m so glad you said you’re having time off. I thought I’d feel bad because I’m taking a break too 😂
I’ve just finished my first year of Politics and IR.
Anyways, you’ll be doing fine on results day, just try and relax and maybe get into a uni group on Facebook and start meeting people that’s how I met 2/5 flatmates in 1st year ☺️
Also incredibly sorry that my paragraphs did not work out so great in this haha😅
Hope you get into Oxford, but even if you don’t Edinburgh is great, hope ill see you around! Just wondering when you find out if you got the grades?
Coming from a Korean and Japanese language student, degrees are MUCH more difficult than a levels. A levels were piss easy in comparison. I don’t go to oxford but your workload is going to be much more challenging than a levels. Trust.
Don't go with unite. I was with them in Leeds and over exams the accommodation flooded from the 8th floor. Went all the way down to reception and I had to move out. It was awful!
It was awful in Liverpool too
Cannot wait to watch!!! Love you so much Eve! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
all uni prep vlogs pleaseeee
Eve you are just the best! I’m in awe of how hard working you are and next year (year 13 💩) I am going to be like you and work my butt off to get to uni
Love you so much good luck xxxxx
Learning to cook is a really important one!
Morning routine or night skin care routine
You are going to get to Oxford university, that is for sure! You are the best Eve, keep it up! :)
I live in the Cayman Islands and I plan to go to Lancaster University!
This video was so helpful!
Start buying things each week when you buy food, like washing up liquid, wash powder, food ingredients etc so that you don’t suddenly have to but them the week before.
I’ll attend Edinburgh next fall as well :) as an international student I have to plan the logistics of the move, focus on vocabulary as I previously studied everything in another language and try to figure out adulting xx but I don’t think any of this really applies to you 😂
love your channel!😊
I stayed with Unite in Bham for Aston Uni (also studying Spanish), they’re great
Does anybody have any advice on choosing a uni?
Have a look on the student room website. All unis have a forum and you can ask students questions about them
You’ve literally voiced all my worries I have about uni! I have people asking me about uni becuase it’s so uncertain!!!! Love this vid! Where are you from btw?
I'm going to be studying English Literature and Language at the University of Edinburgh in September! and I'm also staying in Unite Students accommodation.
I’m torn between living at home or living in the halls at uni. Can anyone offer some advice?
Your channel is great Eve!
Are you going to film results day??
what stuff to buy from uny
Always excited to watch your videos because of the intro music 😂💕
Can you do an advice video for people starting English lit a level in September x
I’m so stressed for gcse results day I don’t know how I’m going to cope
I’m basically in the same position as you - I’m also going to be studying Spanish and German at uni but I don’t want to start preparing for my firm until results day because I’m not sure I will have met my offer (A*AA) 😬 fingers crossed but I’m not that hopeful after my shambolic exam experience haha (ps. totally unrelated but I’m loving the chantaje outro)
Love you so much eveeeeee!
Good luck with You're results eve ❤
Any advice for international students, hoping to study modern languages in the UK??
I REALLY NEEDED THIS THANKS
love your videos!!
If you really need to read the german classics make sure you read Homo Faber by Max Frisch and Effi Briest by Theodor Fontane!🙂
First year of uni is easier than A2 and doesn't count towards your end grade. It's done like that to make the transition easier. Enjoy first year.
I empathise with your hayfever struggles...
i love that ur a year older than me and we want to do the same thing at uni, so i have a lot of advice haha x
When are u back uploading on your normal channel?
omg i live in oxford!! might spot you around!!!
❤️❤️❤️
Hey Eve,
I am also going to University of Edinburgh for my BSC. Artificial Intelligence. I'm so excited to meet you there😍
Please come to Edinburgh, Scotland is beauteous😆
Hi Eve, would you be able to make a video on tips/ questions to think about when researching and deciding what you want to do after sixth form and looking at universities 💙
Did you do anything to prepare before 6th form eve, just curious cause I’m going into sixth form and don’t know what I should do to prepare 😫
I think she already has a video on how to prepare and advice for sixth form! 😘💛
You don’t need to prepare, just enjoy your holidays
All I did to prepare was complete the transition work set by my school but if you don’t have any then you could probably go back over gcse work of the subjects you’re doing towards the end of the holidays so you haven’t forgotten everything x
Lucy I’ll have to check that out x
nothing hon!
A-levels are SO easy compared to an Oxford degree.
You should use You Need A Budget (YNAB) for budgeting. Its amazing. ^_^
Also - refrain from getting one of the free credit cards banks give out to Uni students. Only get one when you feel like you're ready or really could use it responsibly and still have good credit.
Study routine!!
