    GRILLED CHICKEN BREAST RECIPE
    2 chicken breasts
    1 tablespoon avocado oil
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/4 cup bbq sauce, optional
    Instructions
Prepare the grill. Clean the grates and set to a medium high heat. You want the temperature somewhere between 400-450 Farenheit.
Place chicken breast between two pieces of wax paper and pound with a meat mallet until the chicken has a uniform thickness all around. This will help the chicken to cook more evenly.
Brush both side of the chicken with avocado oil.
Season generously with salt and pepper. Be sure to get both sides.
Place the chicken smooth side down on the grill and close the lid. Cook for three minutes and then rotate the chicken 90 degrees for an additional minute (this will create cross-hatch grill marks).
Flip the chicken and cook for an additional three or four minutes. If you want to brush some bbq sauce on the chicken, so that now.
Flip the chicken one last time to add additional bbq sauce if desired.
    Serve and enjoy!
    NOTES
Don’t have a meat mallet? No problem. You can use a heavy bottle, a rolling pin or even a can of soup.
You can use any type of sauce or marinade you prefer. It’s an easy way to add extra flavor without marinading the chicken.
This chicken is also delicious plain, no sauce needed. I love making it plain and keeping it on hand for salads, sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, etc.

I was always apprehensive about grilling chicken breast because of fear of drying it out. I followed your instructions to the letter and my entire family said it was the juiciest grilled chicken they've ever had. It was perfect. Liked and subbed. Thank you!

Great tutorial Dani! I can’t wait to give this a try.. I usually use my George Foreman Grill, because my chicken breasts always are dry on a traditional grill. Thank you for these great tips, I’m sure it’ll work out perfectly. All my best, Marsha

Hi Dani! I was looking for a simple grilled chicken recipe, came across this video and I tried it. It was awesome. I had never grilled chicken before and I was a bit nervous. The chicken came out delicious and NOT DRY! Lol. Thank you for the recipe, this one is a keeper for sure.

Thank you!!! I grilled my first chicken breast and it came out fantastic! My thicker cut of chicken took longer to cook but a meat thermometer ensured I got it right.

I had to watch a UA-cam video first to figure out why the grill would not get hot enough. The grill regulator needed to be reset. After fixing this problem I grilled the chicken 4 minutes on each side with the lid opened. It turned out tender and delicious. This was the first time I grilled chicken breast. Thanks for this easy to follow recipe. I am now a follower.

This is exactly how we made chicken at a restaurant where I used to work. We used cooking spray instead of your oil method. And our boss actually had us spray the chicken itself with cooking spray. They taught me a lot at that job.

    Hi Dani,
This might be good for your q&a section. The single family household is one of the fastest growing demographics. Could you please make recommendations on cooking for one? It is challenging since all recipes are made with at least 4 servings. Many recipes are simply not cost effective to make at home. At the same time I do like having some leftovers because I don't want to cook 7 nights per week.
