Love your set up! I was thinking of getting the sig12 enclosure. But seeing your set up, makes me think having a deeper enclosure like yours makes it look more legit. And you really don't have to worry about any bad shots escaping out, and having an easy spot to put the projector is a plus. And the sig 12 would be 4:3 aspect ratio, and I appreciated your input that the 16:9 or 10 is more immersive.
Is this set up really worth it? I’m considering it, but feel like I could build a more sturdy and professional looking one with 2x4, plywood and acoustic pads for way cheaper
I like this set up a lot. The 2 inch EMT piping is solid. You can definitely make something cheaper but this set up works great for what I have. Clean and professional. Hard to answer if it is worth it for you in particular, though. It probably all depends on if you enjoy getting your “hands dirty”. I prefer the easy option knowing it is going to cost more. Thanks for watching!
When the sides extend out that far do you ever hit them? In particular with a Driver. Let's assume the screen is roughly 10 feet wide, and the sides extend out 5 feet or 10 feet. It seems like I might hit the sides with my Driver?
I have approximately 7 feet on either side... no issues at all. My enclosure is 15.5 feet wide. If you go with 10 feet wide you don't need to be in the enclosure. You can have a 5 ft deep enclosure that would also work well.
Great enclosure, great video! What kind of hitting mat are you using? Last optimization could be a build in hitting mat, in order to make putting a real feel. Kind Regards Michael
I don’t actually know the name of it, it was part of the Sim in a box purchase from foresight sports, but I agree with you, that would be a nice change!
Hi, Would like to know the depth of your Enclosure. See that you chose 15 feet but in one of the comments you acknowledged to a post that it’s 20 feet deep. Would like to clarify. Thank you

I totally agree. I had a simpler set up, this is a lot cleaner!
I got the turf from turfsupplycompany.com
@@HFHGolf Did you do the stock 15 foot wide, 20 foot long option? Or did you call them and special order your specific length? Thanks.
@@walkergilmer3122 Correct 👍🏼
I got the same exact enclosure. Will be getting the pipe this week will start with the build.
Great choice!!

is the only difference between the pro enclosure vs the diy enclosure is just the 2" vs 1" piping?
That is the main difference. The Pro allows for a deep enclosure as well.
Awesome setup! What are the dimensions of the entire room?
Approximately 22.5’ x 26’ x 20’ (ceiling), Thank you!

I am assuming the projector sits slightly above and behind your hitting area, so you don't hit it with your driver?
It’s right above my head, no issues with that position. It is 10 feet so it hangs at 9’6”
Did you set the projector to 16:9 or 16:10. Also did you look at an enclosure 10 feet in depth versus the 15? Thanks!
16:10, I went with the deeper enclosure so I could mount the specifics 4k projector I purchased.
Your projector is at 15’ correct? So your hitting pad is set at 15’ too?

Apologies for the confusion. This is 15.5 feet wide, 10 feet high and 15 feet deep
Thank you so much and you have a great set up.
