This is one of the best talks I've heard. I'm 62 years old, and have practiced meditation for about 40 years. I've considered that someday I should share my experiences, perhaps a UA-cam channel or book. I've been waiting to gain more experience. But I also have another priority, recording music, which is my first talent. I've also learned that there are many highly experienced teachers out there doing the same meditation sharing, and realized that if a person is searching for answers diligently, they can find information, especially with the internet. After watching this video I feel it is so right on point that I should just make a video saying go listen to this guy. He is already doing what I would wish to say, and probably even better. I am so happy to have found this channel, and now I'm thinking just to focus on music.

Thank you for putting this out there. I love how you explained how its hard to explain your spiritual practice because your whole life is your spiritual practice. That is just beautiful and I completely agree. The concept of of separating your spiritual practice from your secular life is a western one. It is much more balanced and holistic to let your spiritual practice be your life even if others can't see it. That's okay, they don't have to see it, you only have to know it. Namaste.

By the end of your video I realized the blocks I have been facing in my practice. The EGO can be so tricky sometimes and it hides itself through identification with these glorious realizations in our practice. Thank you again for being honest, I learned so much about my own self. The thing you said about "keeping our practice to ourselves, not telling anyone you are a Kriyaban" that is something you are totally right about and I have had the feeling about that too. Not sharing our experiences with others but keeping our practice personal and sacred. Thank you again God bless you.

What if Kriya yoga was just the yoga of transforming your energies? As a microphone is a technical thing, it only works if there's a power behind it. We may have the most complicated technical organism, the body, and it works only if there is energy behind it... As you raise your energy, you raise your consciousness, as it is the same thing. That makes Kriya yoga somewhat different from the other yogas (karma, Jnana, Bhakti), because you touch the fundamental of who you are. That's why an initiation is needed from a live Guru. He has to set the right atmosphere in you, so that you can "grow" your energies with your practice. It's like a flower, it will only grow if the right environment is there. So is it for human beings.
As for the Guru, one can try to climb Mount Everest by themselves, but it will be much safer and possible with a guide, one who has reached the peak and knows how to get there. You can try to reach the peak of your consciousness by yourself, good luck ! I chose to take a Guru as a guide, because the spiritual path is even harder than Mount Everest. But there is not only one Guru, P.Yogananda was one of them, Ramana Maharshi another one. I am not confused, I am dedicated to the Path and my practice, and not to the Guru, He doesn't care if I love Him or not, I just follow his teaching.

Ryan Kurczak no the thing is the true kriya yoga is vanished from society in kriya yoga one can raise his kundilini but now a days kundilini guru in our society does not present.all are fake if you think I am this that then okay but I am telling you real kriya yoga is long gone the guru is not awakened his kundilini how he teach his disciple to raise his kundilini.for instance you get thirsty now if you think my thirst is quenched actually it is not so so you have to take water and drink it so all are practical.

Thank you Ryan. I don't know what just happened but I've been sitting and crying because there were a lot of contradictions and confucions along my way of kriya practice. There were times I couldn't sit and meditatate because it made my ego so proud that I meditated 4 hours a day for a couple years and the more I practiced the harder it was not to feel so amazingly spiritual. I tried to make kriya "the most important thing" but it turned out the way that I stopped paying attention to some other parts of life and overprioritised the practice. Well, there were a lot of downfalls. Thank you for being truthful and for sharing your thoughts and experiences.

So glad that you addressed this. I always thought that I was doing something wrong because I did not follow many of these techniques I joyfully read Paramahansa Yogananda's full course that Self Realization sends. However, I have done very well with my meditations. Thank you for validating that although its good to listen and learn, at the end of the day we have to follow our own intuition. “Read a little. Meditate more. Think of God all the time.”

I was initiated by SRF around 2009. I moved to Seattle and found myself by the Seattle center. I loved the meditations there with the kirtan, and worked in the gardens. But I moved further north, never stayed consistent with meditation or the practices. But, I did the 10-day Vipassana adult course, and had a mystical experience in meditation. I also had another another one at a different time. I'll be 70 next month. I have all my lessons and books. I loved learning of Paramahansa Yogananda, and feel connected to him. I want to get back to the practices. I enjoyed what you said here about the practice being easier than what is taught, so I registered for your classes, and am looking forward to beginning again.

When I woke up there was an undeniable sensation of being bonded to Divinity. I was an Atheist at the time which made it difficult to navigate the territory without rushing to a psychiatrist. thanks for this, I've been hesitating to research kriya yoga on youtube, due the concept of it being passed down by "masters" as the proper way. Your video has confirmed that I'm actually doing just fine, yes there are probably things that i could learn but the basics are already in place and it's more about commitment to the process than learning secret techniques. I will admit that I've worried about this, thinking that there may be things I should be doing etc and your words have given me peace in that regard.
    thanks again

Thank you very much!! This is sooo profound and I love the down to earthness. Thank you for very practical insights. To trust the students wisdom and encourage discernment like you do is deliberating for me. Thank you for being on my path right now.

Hey I can’t say I agree more with ya bud. And hey really thank you I’m super grateful to have found this material as I start the next phase of my journey. Gosh it’s always right on time huh…… I just laugh right now as I think about it but hey you seem like a really grounded, patient and honest human being. I look forwards to going through you playlists and I believe you mentioned books and something else I’m gonna have to watch again but I can’t wait to learn all I can. Thank you for putting this material out I wouldn’t have a clue where to begin. Stay blessed and stay awesome Namaste 🙏

Anup L k There are no rules . I see inside myself anatomically speaking scene my heart pumping my lungs breathing blood running through my veins !!! I share this experience with Other common man , blue-collar workers like myself . I see inside myself when I meditate , I am awareness separate from physical senses , aware , Seeing with eyes shutt !! Seeing inside 👁👁 . Seeing light where there is none . The more I give of myself the better I feel, The more natural , grounded, I need No payment I need no reward , I am that .! I prayed to Patanjali, I I believed , he answered my prayer , I did not petition him , I prayed for guidance , found it in his word , and in meditation , I was revealed to myself , I did pranayama and Mantra and immediately lifted the Vail . Simple one time shopping . Done did that been there . What’s next ? There is only one self
