About Sri M
Born in India, Sri M is a spiritual guide, social reformer, educator and writer. He first met his Master at the age of nine under the jackfruit tree, in the compound of his house in Thiruvananthapuram in the Indian coastal state of Kerala.
The full account of his astonishing and amazing experiences are published in his memoir from 2011 titled “Apprenticed to a Himalayan Master - A Yogi’s Autobiography“, which became an instant bestseller. He has written a sequel to his autobiography, titled “Sri M - The journey continues”, which was released last year.
Sri M has traveled the world fulfilling his life’s mission to teach and guide people as instructed by his Master, Maheswarnath Babaji. Over the years, Sri M’s mission as a spiritual guide, social reformer and educator have given rise to many initiatives including:

In 2015, Sri M went on a 16-month journey, Walk of Hope, from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, spanning 5000 miles across 11 states of India, to bring attention to humanity’s need for peace, harmony and tolerance.
Sri M says: “Go to the core. Theories are of no use.” His message seeks to transcend the outer-shell of all religions, by exploring their mystical essence and thus nurture the innate goodness in every human being.

Wow, I am so impressed. He is gentle, easy, humorous and forgiving. He is vegetarian, but if someone made a non vegetarian dish for him, the person making the dish with love, is more important than his eating beliefs. This summed it all up for me. Balance and Moderation.
yes, compassion is more important, that's what Buddha also did.

Yogananda/Sri Yukteswar disciple of L Mahasaya taught Kaliyuga ended couple hundred years ago. Now Dwapara Yuga, which brings such energies

Great talk, even if you aren’t practicing Kriya yoga the things you speak of are all relevant in todays practices. I try as much as possible to follow the rules, rising early to perform, refraining from teaching others or even commenting on my practice unless directed. This is between me and the Infinite Creator and in order for me to reach that state of void I find that its best for me to just smile and send joy to everyone i encounter. I’m going to admit that it is hard especially when the Western world is all about money. I know so many studios that don’t even touch on the Gita, the Sutras, or even something as simple as diet. Drives me crazy how many studios believe that just because you paid money you are now a teacher.

Exactly. 200 hours of gym training and you are certified to teach an ancient practice written on the pyramid walls? One must Study Patanajali, Bhagavad Gita, Autobiography of a Yogi, Heart of Yoga, Light on Yoga, get up 4am every morning to practice, then you’ve graduated from kindergarten in the realm true yoga which is very disciplined. One Must follow Yamas & Niyamas to be an authentic yoga teacher. Here we have a true teacher. Thank you Sir! 🙏🏼❤️ Namaste

This video has really opened my understanding on this matter I always thought this was for some sects or some weird type practise. Thanks for this. I have read the wisdom of the upanishads book and now I saw this it was amazing! Feel really thankful, hopefully someday when I guess I’m ready will take it ahead. Just after chanting the guru mantra in front of Shiva poster in my room I started crying alot maybe I have never cried this much before ever what could be the reason for it do anyone of you know. I cried soo much that my face was paining and I was feeling tingling sensation on my face...
When some realisation happens and feel with bliss, it happens normally. After spending one few days in such camp, I also felt same. Keep doing Sadhna 🙏

Sri M offers so much knowledge. Interesting re meaning of Anahat (the heart chakra): 'unstuck sound' like clapping with one hand. This is yet a sound. Reminds me of the Buddhist puzzle phrase: no hands clapping.

The only way to learn Kriya Yoga is to first read Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda. Then you must write to Self Realization Fellowship and recieve Yogananda's teaching for 2 years, you will learn the beginnings of Kriya and you must document your meditations for 6 months. After this you can be initiated into Kriya ❤️🙏

Thank you for sharing! The time has come for everyone who truly seek the truth to be able to get the information needed to transcend from a lower state of awareness to a higher. Many in the world have the “desire” to go the path, but can’t pay for the fee’s. Not everyone have the money it takes to go to some fancy place! And now when we have the internet, why not use it for a purpose that will serve the mankind in the best way. Therefore I am so happy that Sri M is revealing some of the secrets that should not be secrets (by now 2019). /Erik
