i used to own this car. i imported it from the philippines sometime in 2010.
There’s normally a long drawn out process for British citizenship, you have to know the names of all the queens corgi’s, the height of Big Ben (to the nearest millimetre, Winston Churchill’s star sign etc.
But for your efforts in restoration of this RS specification Mk2 escort (even if the steering wheel is on the wrong side) your passport is already in the post.

Thank you! Appreciate your support in my early days 😁. Hah it looks like a window deflector you keep in your windshield on hot days but it’s actually just the way the polarizer on my camera picks up the glass. Beyond that I don’t know why it appears to be different than most windshields.
