Very cool to be able to watch this... I still have a completely original one from '91 in red, 99% stock, apart from k&n panel filter and stainless exhaust, and a mk1 Mondeo bumper lip. They're a pain to keep running though, not many are left so parts are hard to come by these days...
I don't think there are many left globally. Only one I knew has been rusted away about 10 years ago as it got some transmission problem and was left in bad spot for way too long time 😞
Same engine block as the Sierra 8v,but with a 16v head. If the new compressed plunger does become released,it can be used again,it just requires a nack on how to place the chain back on. I learnt this trick when I couldn't get my Sierra started, thinking I have position the cams incorrectly, because too much fuel was drowning the spark plugs, which we know is called flooding. So,after several attempts to align the cams correctly, although they were correct, the fault turned out to be the IAT sensor
Lovely
I have one just like that with coilovers. Its great and fun car to drive fast👌
Gold
👍👍
The Mk5 Escort was crappy by most standards but they did get the RS 2000 right, i've always liked them.
The press hated the run of the mill versions of the Mk5 but if you read the road tests on the RS 2000 it's a completely different story.
Of course, its like campre the regilar lancia delta against a deltona (HF Integrale)
It's pretty damn quick car in twisty roads.
