It's heartbreaking hearing him speak about some of the things here! Overall, he was a good, compassionate man, he shouldn't have had to apologise for anything!
I was reading comments here. Elvis did usually talk a little slower and was a very thoughtful person. His early interviews in the 1950's he talks slowly. The things he says here -- respect for other people, interest in "Leaves of Gold" book, reading philosophy and poetry was Elvis too. His mother's death was a huge tragedy for him. So was the loss of his twin brother which followed Elvis his entire life. He didn't understand why he survived and his brother didn't. He thought he may have done something to cause his brother's death. As a child, he questioned his mother about it. I grew up with Elvis in the 1950's and 60's and this is Elvis. It's exactly as I remember him in interviews. So many people say this isn't Elvis speaking, but it is !!
Yes, he was! I have read Elvis had a "hair trigger temper" and I am sure he did, but he was in general a thoughtful and kind person and he did say he would feel bad whenever he lost his temper. Elvis was forever transforming quickly during those 23 years to his death.
there isnt a star today who can match elvis charisma or charm i only wish i could have met him he was a real person with decent family values god bless him
I was fortunate to have seen Elvis in concert in 1970 when I was 18 years old, but I, like so many people, wish I could have known him personally, even just spend a little time with him. I think Elvis' phone friends were more blessed because they saw more the true Elvis. Elvis was very real. I especially loved it when he said he came from pig farmers and chicken thieves (Elvis & Gladys book) and then he would laugh. I think Elvis loved where he came from.
ive read a few books over the years on elvis one book was elvis and me by priscilla presley i was 7 yrs old when he passed away i remember the world seemed to stop and most people can remember where they were at the time of his passing that is how much people loved him
Elvis was so truthful and humble. He never was the same after the loss of his Mother. There was a loneliness in his voice that noone else could understand. God only created one Elvis and the music world is so much better to have had such a great entertainer.
I had never heard him talk about his mother, it broke my heart when i heard him say that is was a tragedy!! Now you are with your mom elvis rest in peace!! =(
Never another like him. God gives us someone like Elvis once in a thousand years. Wish I could have met or even seen you Elvis, not having a Dad around since I was 3, you were my inspiration and role model. I only saw Graceland as a kid years after you left us and, even then, from outside the closed gates, I cried. To be able to put on a jumpsuit and bring others a memory of you as you were is a blessing to me and hopefully to them as well. I will see you in heaven. Love you, Danny "Elvis" Zale
I really enjoyed hearing Elvis's thoughts about things and how he views life. I know the death of his mother was a crucial time for him. I know how he felt. I also lost mine and she was my best friend. I feel so alone without her now. Thank you sweet Elvis for sharing with us your private moments. I love you always......
I do think this Elvis just listen to the voice carefully He speaks.of his mother what a tragedy it was ford him. WE LOVE YOU ELVIS AND MAY GOD BLESS YOU
We could use a little of his kindness in this uncertainty we’re living in right now, he brought people together in a way no one else could! he brought people to God, and I believe that’s what God sent him here to do! I’m terribly anguished about what his environment drove him to do, the drugs and such. but I don’t hold that against him he gave everyone such pleasure, and he was tired, and God knew how tired he was. and so he called him home, and now Elvis can rest peacefully with the Lord! thank you E for never ceasing to amaze me, even now thank you God for sending E! 🙏 ❤️
1962. Recorded on a movie set. The whole interview goes for 13:41. He also talked about his fans and that he always made time for them and that it was no big deal... he said they've got their little cameras and it's no problem to pose for them...
Elvis, his mother was the most important, I think that was his ground lead, and without it, ELVIS always felt very alone great son loved his mother much, the truth that I'm thrilled by his voice that conveys his feeling beautiful Elvis I love you always thank you¡¡
I agree with you Elvis I lost my mother three years this April she would been 72. its hard and does make you see life a fresh and realise things about life like you I loved my mother. She was a big fan of yours. only person you hurt Elvis was yourself kid and your music has help me get over that lose and still cry sometimes "and I miss her and I miss her"
this must be quite late on. sounds pretty rare - he never really gave interviews about his personal life like the stars do nowadays on chat shows and stuff. fantastic hearing him talking about himself honestly there.
This was from the tape that came with the book Is Elvis Alive in 1988. This recording was supposedly taken from his half of a phone conversation in 1981.
I love to hear him talk a express his inner true feeling the poor littfellow had really no one to talk to that understood him except for Jesus Christ I believe he was constantly talking praying to Jesus Christ to give him strength to do what he needed to do was sing a make people happy. I believe he loved Gosple songs the best those were the kind of songs that ease his mind a moved him.
Definitely Elvis. I have the 1980 Silver Boxed set "Elvis Aron Presley" and the whole interview is on that set. Disk 1 Side B. Described as "An Elvis Monologue". Whole thing goes 13:41. RCA CPL8-3699-1 "Elvis talks about Elvis. In this revealing and often perceptive self-portrait, he considers his feelings, his thoughts, his beliefs, his accomplishments and his plans for the future. Recorded on a movie set in 1962."
Life goes on elvis but love ones are never forgotten they will always rain with you in your heart no one can take or replace your memories remember that while you live your life life is to short
I truly like this video as you get to hear a different Elvis from when he's on stage. That's the Elvis Priscilla fell in love with. I don't think any girl could resist this Elvis. Most men would probably say "Duh" as most men are not sentimental in this world. They like action or they fall asleep. That's why football is so important to so many guys except for me. Elvis in a lot of ways is hard to figure out about a lot of things..It's like in song Always on my mind" He just never took the time.
The Woman AT 1:54 is Ina Balin from the movie Charro. The "Let's Forget About The Stars" song was cut from the movie as she was in a bath tub. Entire scene & song were cut.
DARLING ELVIS MISS YOU ALWAYS YOU HAD A GIFT FROM GOD BEAUTIFUL VOICE BEAUTIFUL LOOKS LOVE 💘❤ 💕 💖♥ 💗 💘 ❤ 💘❤ 💕 💖♥ 💗 💘 ❤ 💘❤ 💕 💖♥ 💗 YOU ALWAYS THERE WILL NEVER BE ANOTHER YOU MARGO ❤♥ 💜
I own this entire interview on cassette on the Elvis Aron Presley box set. It's very insightful and relaxing and lets you really get to know who Elvis really well.
A true tragedy is that he never gave in depth interviews or ever wrote a book of his own thoughts. Everything we know about him came from someone else.
It's the kind of thing that happens to a person when there life is constantly in the fast lane. No time to think about much of anything. Your constantly on the go. He had to please the crowd. I do think Elvis loved Priscilla. No doubt. But he had his priorities wrong. He truly loved her but he loved all the attention from all the other beautiful women out there too. But to try to combine married life with the constant touring is just simply too hard. The relationship has no solid foundation.
SO LA SIGNORA GLADYS#78) SO VIDEO PERCARITA' MOLTO SIGNIFICATIVI STORICI DE NA BELLA EPOCA E NA FORTUNA CHE SE TROVINO IMMAGINE DU SECOLO MA IO SO JOVANE DO ANOS 1978 ME SO ABITUATA A SEGUIR ESTA MUSICA ORA ME PIACE NO CAPISCO LA LINGUA INGLISCH VA BENE VE SALUTO 💖💞🤔
I have a friend who is a Pastor and the other day during breakfast the service lady asked me if she could get me a coffee refill and I said, thank you…. Thank you very much! My Pastor friend looks at me and says Michael you know Elvis Presley was the biggest sinner this world has ever known! I said, be careful Pastor passing judgement upon another because in Mathew chapter seven it talks about judgment! I told him that with what judgment we put upon another we cast upon ourselves! He said no it’s true…..Elvis was a huge sinner! Again I cautioned him! Then I told him that I grew up with Elvis Presley and love him dearly and that there’s nothing he could say to me that would not make me love him any less! He looks at sternly, gets up from the table and runs out of the doors! This Pastor teaches seminary students at colleges for their phds. So to you who reads this just know that there’s many many people that love Elvis Presley and please know that there’s never been but one who walked a perfect path and his name is JESUS! Thank you!
Adorabile Elvis ... Ma vorrei fare una richiesta: una traduzione italiana (e anche altro)per coloro che non comprendono o comprendono poco l'inglese ? Non so se ho fatto una richiesta impossibile...se cosi fosse , perdonate
elvis was more switched on than most gave him credit for ! Good guy who just had enough (eg: why he got into the drugs etc ) probably got tired of all the bs around him
They say Elvis is still living! Dr. Hinton said he was working with him to write a book! He was living in Kansas City where Dr. Hinton was treating him for depression and anxiety! Jenny c. Riley has even talked about him being alive! So, I reckon all these people buying Elvis goods at his mansion are supporting him without realizing it! A lot of people knows he’s still living and are keeping quiet about it except for Precious Prissy who stated in an interview that that’s what Elvis said the other day! So, why hasn’t he come back out? TCB
Now here's the thing. He confesses to have a bad temper. When the West boys bought their book out "Elvis What Happened" this was a big expose. Further in this interview he talks about his interest in medicine and medical books. Again, a big deal in the book.
@demonoid1024 actually this is elvis from an interview on a film set in the sixties. the gut you mention has studied this interview and based his fakes on it.
Listening to Elvis talk is almost as beautiful as listening to him sing. Such a sincere and humble man with a God given voice.
It's heartbreaking hearing him speak about some of the things here! Overall, he was a good, compassionate man, he shouldn't have had to apologise for anything!
Elvis loved his fans so he didn't want them hearing rumors that weren't true. God Bless Him.

Just pure humble..
Gone but Never Ever Forgotten. Rest in Peace, Elvis Presley.
Elvis was so truthful and humble. He never was the same after the loss of his Mother. There was a loneliness in his voice that noone else could understand. God only created one Elvis and the music world is so much better to have had such a great entertainer.

He helps me to hear his point of view 💙💋

Hearing this gave me great comfort about life.

This sounds like it's from the 70s
Early 70s or something but i could be wrong
Elvis, his mother was the most important, I think that was his ground lead, and without it, ELVIS always felt very alone
great son loved his mother much, the truth that I'm thrilled by his voice that conveys his feeling beautiful

It actually is alot longer because on that silver box it was edited. It's since been released on an import CD in complete form.
I think the movie was It Happened At The World's Fair.
I want to hug him 💔
I love ya E!!!

Beautiful! But Elvis was a very lonely man! God Bless him!
Yes, this is definitely Elvis talking. Very interesting because few interviews of him exit.
I hope Elvis is with Our Creator. I hope he was saved 🙏

I own this entire interview on cassette on the Elvis Aron Presley box set. It's very insightful and relaxing and lets you really get to know who Elvis really well.
Existe para poder escuchar?
This is a well known interview and long term fans have all heard it and know its the real deal.
Donde se puede escuchar entera?
It is Elvis.
A true tragedy is that he never gave in depth interviews or ever wrote a book of his own thoughts. Everything we know about him came from someone else.
That is so true it hurt his ego more than anything your right,
i couldn't agree more with you!

little trivia...the photo at the 0.05 mark is cillas favourite photo of elvis and herself
Damn darling WAYNE is an unusual name for such a good looking woman 🤣🤣
I think elvis said i like a guy who is himself
what he was saying at 1:21 was so funny to go with that picture
elvis was more switched on than most gave him credit for ! Good guy who just had enough (eg: why he got into the drugs etc ) probably got tired of all the bs around him
This is from 1962 and it has been manipulated slightly and edited alot. Overdubbed with crap music as well. Why mess with it?
listen to jon cotner singing moody blue,it will make you think.....

an interesting observation. maybe be this is not the real deal

Sometimes lonliness can come from losing a twin early in life.
why on earth would you do that? The original is fine to listen to? What a weird thing to do.
Alguien sabe de qué año es esto?
WONDERFUL!
Thank you so very much for sharing.
Take care and may God bless you.
