*Get that 4L-Slippery serviced ASAP and throw 25Oml of Lucas Oil Trans Stop Slip Stabilizer in it while your at it with the new trans oil otherwise she not lasting long. Already sounds like the 1st to 2nd is slipping a bit.💯*
hey mate definitely a good idea to wipe over the headlight with some isopropyl alcohol and then apply some headlight sealant on there so they dont go foggy again; love this series

Turtle wax sell a half decent light cleaner.
2k clean coat is meant to be handy for the long run, just wear a mask

I recently tried the Headlight restoration kit from Autobarn. They turned out like new. Comes in a small box with sand paper and everything you need. About $50. Also comes with the sealer to keep them looking good.

Could have done without the guy in the green balaclava, I fast forward through that whole bit he was so obnoxious.
It’s common to run 275/30 r20 on the rear with 245/30r20 on the front and will fit those rims way better.

I think a ute can fit a 265 or a 275 on the rear
I have to run 245 on the rear of my calais, so stretched tyre aswell

I put the same rims on my Monaro yesterday. Rolled guards and managed to fit 265 Potenzas on the back and 245 front's. You should try 265 or 275s on the ute. Will give it a tougher stance

Car polish and machine polisher can help heaps unless headlight has small cracks due to age,weather conditions etc

Just a tip on the headlight repair, now it’s had a few layers of junk removed, ceramic coat them or the very least wax them every couple of months.

Great series on the vz.. from 7k purchase price what is your budget to fully restore her? Ballpark around 35k from start to finish? Or less curious
My headlights were the same on my old VN . WD40 cleaned them right up.

For staggered wheels, 225/35/20 front, 255/30/20 rear. For non staggered (8.5" wide all round), 245/30/20.

All you really need is the paint done properly the interior nice and neat with new seats….. and a HUGE GARRET TURBO… then your pretty much set

Since you went to the effort of restoring the headlights, get some STEDI "projector bulbs" and for the Fogs "Boost" ... for the price of them, I can't complain.
