@@MrFasho123 Scanian is a dialect not a language.. and swedish is actually also a dialect of swedish (aka Sormlandian) There are 5 core-swedish dialects. They are Scanian, Geatish, Gutnish, Sormlandian/Stockholmian and Northern-Swedish. And most other dialcats have derived from a mix of theses. Sweden didn't have a offical language before 2009, or should I say a offical dialect. (Btw the offical dialect for swedish is Sormlandian)
You said the first sentence in Japanese perfectly in terms of pitch accent even though it's the first time you were hearing Japanese. Maybe that's due to Swedish also being a pitch accent language. Interesting!
In Sweden, where they have so many immigrants these days, it is vey multicultural. But in Japan being traditionally a very closed society, that is changing little by little , they still have these very clear images of what everything is.
i'm swedish and learning japanese and this was painful to watch!!martin didn't even try wtf. the japanese guy tried, not easy to imitate skånska even for a swede lol
I think that's mostly because of the "my" part. My -> Watashi-no Name -> Namae(-wa) Martin -> Maatin Is -> Desu The second sentence he said instead is just "I am Martin."
I'm japanese. And That japanese man heard wrong your name ''Moatan''. Sadly our english level isn't high at all. So Maybe His english level wasn't really good. So please try again with more difficult sentence with japanese again! I like to watch your videos!
1. Watashi wa __ desu. 2. Watashi no namae wa __ desu. Jag studerade Japanska i gymnasiet och grundkurs i Högskolan, så lite fusk. 😉 Skulle haft perfekt uttal där och han skulle sett ut såhär 😮...
Rikssvenska is way different in terms of pronunciation than that of the Skåne dialect, which Martin speaks. However, for a native speaker it's no problem to understand but people with limited knowledge might be up for a surprise. ^^
Một đứa cuồng ngôn ngữ: i think that English and Japanese is the easy language because it's easy to hear and speak, Japanese 's pronunciation is very easy but the letter is so difficult... and whatever all language is beautiful.
That swede is using a southern primitive dialect that's very difficult for non-Swedes to replicate. We other swedes considers that dialect more of an animal noise rather than civilized language.
It certainly was a dialect of Danish in the past, and very broad skånska still retains many words from the Danish word base, but in terms of pronunciation it seems to have developed into its own thing. Danish doesn't have all those amazing diphthongs, nor does it have the same emphasized guttural 'r' sound (although admittedly the Danish r is closer to the skånsk one than the other 'r' sound variations in Swedish). I've heard a number of Danes express that counter-intuitively, they find skånska more difficult to understand than other types of Swedish.
Förlåt att jag missförstod - du ville ju självfallet bara ägna dig åt lite mobbning med hjälp av gamla stereotyper för att känna dig lite bättre själv. Jag fattar. Det känns så ibland. Ha det fint.

@@jakobwiberg9536 I didn't hear one single scanian word in what he said? Scanian would be if he said Rullebör instead of skottkärra.

+ItsJust Eli It's a mutual thing. :)
These language challenges are fun. You should try to be nice. People say things online they would never say in person. :)

When he said the sentence "it is sunny today" it sounded so short. Than just to say my name is...
It was soooooo long for a little sentence :O

Good day on swedish sounds like on english "Good dog". What a hell?
Maxim9575 In Norwegian it's "God dag" which still sounds like good dog I suppose :-D
You shouldnt be suprised.
Your speaking a germanic language right now.
Rikssvenska is way different in terms of pronunciation than that of the Skåne dialect, which Martin speaks. However, for a native speaker it's no problem to understand but people with limited knowledge might be up for a surprise. ^^
Maxim9575 Rarely anyone says Goddag in Sweden. It's old Swedish. You say "Hej" or "Tjena"
god dag sound like the german gut(en) tag

The way the japanese guy said Martin in Japanese was totally wrong. I felt like the japaense guy's english was not that good.
yes, it should be something like Maajin, as in Majin Bu!
That swede is using a southern primitive dialect that's very difficult for non-Swedes to replicate. We other swedes considers that dialect more of an animal noise rather than civilized language.
Actually, the southern dialect is easier to learn from a linguistic point of view for foreigners, but not people from northern Sweden.,
Your best.
älskar ditt intro bra video älskar dina videos
It's not fair when you have such a hard Scanian
wakarimashita!
Hey would you try our filipino language?
So this what the Rasalhague League sounds like. The mystery is solved
Det blir ohyggligt mycket svårare när man ska prata småländsk svenska xD
I never would have guessed that guy was Japanese. Then I saw the camera. That gave it away, ha ha ha.
Japanese is very easy to pronounce, but the writing and grammar is difficult.
heeey anyone from Sweden has visited Japan? or wants to visit Japan?
"good dog" hahahha
The cringe...
and now both write :D
Martin is not playing fair. His accent is practically Danish 🤣🤣🤣

Det är mest för Stockholmare. Skånskan är den dialekt som ligger närmast engelska språket.
Jag gillar skånska dock. Mycket trevligt att lyssna på. 😃
Skulle ha varit lättare om han inte var skåning...
Omg... svenska är svårt för typ alla 😂
