Cootamundra Airport sees the quickest street GT-Rs in the world battle it out on a real street surface.

I can hardly believe im even saying this, but those few Aussie spec R35s literally did nothing for me after watching the Tuffest 32s/34s in Australia,

I'm looking forward to an R's Day here in the US. Like you guys, every major event has been missed this past year and I pray 2021 gives us a chance to witness and be a part of the GTR way! Thanks for such awesome content and am looking forward to the features on these awesome cars/shops.
For sure!!! My current R32 GTR here in Texas runs 9's in the quarter mile, and it's continued to be evolved with the help of AWD tuning in flower mounds. Would love to have a R day on the states.
@@DJG37S Top Rank did one in 2019 here in California at Buttonwillow Raceway Park. I was on deployment so I missed that one, then COVID, and now I'm on deployment again... Hope to catch one in 2021 when I return to the US. My R32 has touched into the 10's but it's not built to be a drag car, although it does a pretty good job at it.
I need to know if there is a street GTR with H-pattern shifter that can do a 7.5? Raceweek stick shift class can be won by an import. lol Dethrone Cleet with it.

As fast as the r35s are, they just don’t have the “drama” that the older cars have, especially off the line. They look much more impressive and “fast”

manual should just be h pattern . you dont call a dual clutch manual so why call sequentials
LOL. NO. A sequential is dog engagement with input and output shaft the same as a h-pattern dog box. all that changes is the shift pattern. You can clutch-less shift a h-pattern and have a flat shit strain gauge on it. They are both manuals. The end.
and a dual clutch is called a dual clutch, because it has a dual clutch and electronically controlled.

Do you even have a single clue where Cootamundra is? You want the boys to drive their cars 2500km+ from Melbourne or Sydney? Spud.
Its not funny at all. Clubsprint cars at WTAC and many modified cars get trailered to events. Why? Incase they break.If you want to race hard and push hard, you risk breaking it. No way id drive 1000km round trip to a rural country town in my 1000hp GT-R without a support vehicle in trailer. Its an expensive tow home.
@@clubsport9334 I actually do “spud” also I don’t see a problem with having a tow vehicle and I obviously get why you would need one but I don’t get why they compete in a “street car” class when they have full sequential boxes full roll cages slicks and everything.
In my opinion the cars in the “street car” category should atleast be cars driven on the street as is not just ones that are somehow registered.
Yeah the whole street car thing does bring up debate but keep in mind they are class names rather then reflecting the word to the letter. One question you could ask is if the cars deemed street cars can idle or crawl and not overheat in a 40 degree hot traffic jam in peak hour, and tyres can be road legal, and all mods are ones that can get a certificate, they definitely are "pure" street cars. I don't mind what type of gearbox they have that just comes down to drivability.
Whether you tow it or not doesn't matter, peoples pride and joy can be towed to events if they like and it kind of gets hard to carry all your spare equipment if your just rocking up to middle of nowhere in your car by yourself

It’s because all the big builds nowadays are either 3.0 or 3.2L and they have a different tone to them! For me nothing sounds better than a 2.8L RB 👌🏼
