I think the idea of non Congress elimination as analyzed is not correct. TDP is a regional party. TRS is also a regional party. Other than national parties there are only 2 strong regional parties in the region. Specially even when TRS was in the formation stage TDP has a strong cader and Chandrababu's strong hold was Telangana rather than Andhra. Even before elections 2014 TRS was not so organized did not have to massive support from people as it has to day. So after winning the election the first job of KCR was to strengthen his cader . He knew that Congress a national party with long history can never be challenged on permanent basis. Reportedly failed in his mission to make a pact , the only option was to strengthen himself in the region with no one to challenge. So eliminate the only strong regional contender TDP by pin pointing it as Andhra Party. So it was in all out attack on TDP since bifurcation laws provided common capital for 10 years, CBN will be present for 10 more years in his state as a thorn in the bed. Final master stroke was vote for note. CBN fell into the web and had to flee abruptly . KCR as shrewd politician knows that a neighbouring state headed by another strategic leader, can throw some challenges in his water claims and project execution. . He already faced problem with CBN in DISCOMs. His ambitious projects in some way can cause irritation to the neighbouring state either in justifiable or unjustifiable ways. Distribution of assets is another contention. . Hot and cold relations continued for a while. Then came assembly elections 2018. CBN jumped in the election fray in 2018 expecting antiincumbency and Congress factor will work for him to revive his party on Telangana which rather worked against him.Then comes return gift. After making certain effort KCR realizes his mistake and keeps silent waiting for opportunity to strike . Now the question is it it enough for KCR if CBN lost his elections? Where is the guarantee that another successor CM will not rise issues with him? As far as we can see KCR kept safe standby Jagan. Elections and events after decide KCR strategy.

I think the idea of non Congress elimination as analyzed is not correct. TDP is a regional party. TRS is also a regional party. Other than national parties there are only 2 strong regional parties in the region. Specially even when TRS was in the formation stage TDP has a strong cader and Chandrababu's strong hold was Telangana rather than Andhra. Even before elections 2014 TRS was not so organized did not have to massive support from people as it has to day. So after winning the election the first job of KCR was to strengthen his cader . He knew that Congress a national party with long history can never be challenged on permanent basis. Reportedly failed in his mission to make a pact , the only option was to strengthen himself in the region with no one to challenge. So eliminate the only strong regional contender TDP by pin pointing it as Andhra Party. So it was in all out attack on TDP since bifurcation laws provided common capital for 10 years, CBN will be present for 10 more years in his state as a thorn in the bed. Final master stroke was vote for note. CBN fell into the web and had to flee abruptly . KCR as shrewd politician knows that a neighbouring state headed by another strategic leader, can throw some challenges in his water claims and project execution. . He already faced problem with CBN in DISCOMs. His ambitious projects in some way can cause irritation to the neighbouring state either in justifiable or unjustifiable ways. Distribution of assets is another contention. . Hot and cold relations continued for a while. Then came assembly elections 2018. CBN jumped in the election fray in 2018 expecting antiincumbency and Congress factor will work for him to revive his party on Telangana which rather worked against him.Then comes return gift. After making certain effort KCR realizes his mistake and keeps silent waiting for opportunity to strike . Now the question is it it enough for KCR if CBN lost his elections? Where is the guarantee that another successor CM will not rise issues with him? As far as we can see KCR kept safe standby Jagan. Elections and events after decide KCR strategy.
