This song is so under-appreciated. Only true Corey fans would know about this one probably. I freakin' love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 80's all the way baby. Music today has nothing on this stuff!!!! Love love love it. So smooth.
I honestly feel this was one of Corey Hart's best tracks out of his entire music catalog. I like how moderate guitar was incorporated into the adult contemporary harmony of this song.
There was always something special about the sound of this song, with how the keyboard synthesizers and waning guitar riffs blended in so well together and carried the feeling of the vocals throughout the song. The imagery in this original music video captured the feeling of this beautiful song perfectly.
The scene in the upscale clothing boutique with the Asian female clerk in the fur hat. Kim Basinger tried on an outfit and the clerk just snipped off the tags.
Saw him do this live last Friday. Great show. Such an appreciative artist. He was so thankful towards the crowd. Glass Tiger and Flock of Seagulls opened. Night after Raptors won the NBA championship. Great energy.
Such a hauntingly beautiful song and the video is perfect the way the late wintery afternoon and horses seem to capture the mood of the lyrics. Perfect.
I saw him in concert in Halifax in June 2019. Although he didn't sing this song which is my favourite of his, I was so impressed with the concert. He is a true gentleman.
I forgot about this gem until I recently viewed 9.5 weeks again. Great song! CH always had great melody in his work, and a great voice and execution and projection to perfection! Great, well crafted 80's torchy!!
"Eurasian Eyes" is my favorite Corey Hart song & a large part of that is because of the video, so thanks for sharing that. :) The haunting beginning literally makes you feel the brush of winter. His vocals are chilling&stirring. Very powerful. The lyics compliment a good story in which yearning from afar translates to a whole new level. I think it carries and fulfills a great moment. It fit well into "9 1/2 Weeks" that showed a rough & complex relationship. Thx 4 sharing. Multiple plays now! A+
Eurasian eyes are watching me Like a river, oh you flow through me Eurasian eyes are running still Whispered moments, oh cut the chill When Eurasian eyes are watching me Do you feel the passion in me? Man, I bought an old compilation record yesterday, and the last song of A side is this. I didn't know this song yet, although I'm a huge lover of the 80's in all its essence. I admit I never heard a song like this one... it seems to me that it's the first music I like from zero second to the end! I am so proud I was born in the 80's, and at the same time I feel sad because there are only a few artists that try to compose songs with the 80's pop and synth style nowadays. And they are not in everyday's radio, even less in my country. This song is perfect, it has that super well arranged combo of guitar and drums! And mr. Corey does a so simple but true performance in the clip! He sings, shakes, shows anger and looks into our eyes. Totally 80's. I wish our kids could love this.
I've constructed a playlist of about 500 songs of this aesthetic, some of recent vintage. When I was 12 I first heard this song. The soft rocking of the intro captivated me and the lyrics beautifully described how much you loved the girl with Eurasian Eyes. Thanks to the Internet I’ve been able to prove myself right. 😉 Thanks Corey, for some of my most favourite songs. Listening to them now makes me feel 13 again; writing my first and only fan letter to my most favourite rock star. They evoke freedom, hope, optimism and they are just plain fun! It seems you’ve managed fame and fortune very well. Not many do. I’m so glad to see that you’ve had a successful and fulfilling life. May you and your beautiful family be mightily blessed!

From the "9 1/2 Weeks" Soundtrack. Damn great photography & music, but dark, and eventually a sad story. Obsession. Desire. Voyeurism. Adventure. You'll be high, till the later part when their world falls apart. You have to know where the edge is. "Slave To Love", "This City Never Sleeps", "You Can Leave Your Hat On" are some of the great songs from the film. Live in the moment as much as possible.
He was my first Rock n' Roll celebrity crush and I was so devoted to him in the 7th grade but I remember hating this song out of jealousy because it was about his then girlfriend. Loved his voice then and glad hearing it again that I don't have to look back into my past and cringe-his voice still sounds good.
At 1:38, the light coloured / grey horse is called "Nifty" and in the mid/late 80's, I lived in Gormely / Markham, about 200m from where they had a huge horse stable and training area for riders. The owner of this horse was really nice and she let me feed Nifty when i'd walk back to the stables. A terrific, powerful song by one of my favourite artists. Corey, rock on.
Beautifully done video to a beautiful song. Some very beautifully done imagery in the video of the wintery forest and of the horses. One of my most favourite Corey Hart videos he ever did.
Corey is a gorgeous man, love his songs, he is so easy on the eyes...I bet his & his wife's children can sing great, his wife is quite the singer too .

One of his best!
hauntingly beautiful, only the 80's could produce this masterpiece
NO doubt there. To think we had this music growing up..wow. Our job to hand it down but it's not too hard: kids now hear this once, and they love it.
Bravo.. you're right, IvanDrago..

This song deserves so much more recognition. And that outro, oh my god!!!! Long live the 1980s!
The bass in that intro!!
He just went for it with that outro. He was just belting it out! Outstanding!
First heard this not long after arriving in Japan in 1988. Still listening to it today.

This is one of his i hadn't heard before; but im glad I'm hearing it now.
Simply killer. Nothing recorded even remotely on the same level in 32 years, in my opinion.
Eurasian eyes are watching me
Like a river, oh you flow through me
Eurasian eyes are running still
Whispered moments, oh cut the chill
When Eurasian eyes are watching me
Do you feel the passion in me?
'Cause I'm the one that said I'd never care
For someone like you
Now I'm the one that lacks the eloquence
To say, ooh to say
That when the world is cold with no one to hold
I can only see Eurasian eyes
Love won't lie 'cause the truth would cry
That I can only see Eurasian eyes
Eurasian eyes inspire me
Look for the magic until I see
Eurasian eyes, so honestly
Do you feel the passion in me?
'Cause I'm the one that said I'd never care
For someone like you
Now you're inside me
And I won't defend what I want to do for you
But oh, now I said
Now I'm the one that lacks the eloquence
To say, ooh to say
When the world is cold with no one to hold
I can only see Eurasian eyes
You know love won't lie 'cause the truth would cry
I can only see Eurasian eyes
And if my heart is blind then why do I find
I can only see Eurasian eyes
Oh no, no
When the world is cold with no one to hold
I can only see Eurasian eyes
You know love won't lie 'cause the truth would cry
That I can only see Eurasian eyes
And if my heart is blind then why do I find
I can only see Eurasian eyes
And when the world is cold with no one to hold
I only see Eurasian eyes
Eurasian eyes
