- GFI System, boutique pedal maker of the famed reverb and delay multi-effect pedal, Specular Tempus, has done it again with the Synesthesia. This dual channel modulation pedal is rich and textured with an insane amount of options (phaser, flanger, tremolo, chorus, detune, tape flutter, envelope filter and more - all to mix and match). The Synesthesia houses 32 presets, MIDI, CV, tap tempo, DPS routing, an FX Loop and more! If you're looking for an all-encompassing mod, this is a guitar pedal you need.
This video isn't a tutorial, but a basic run through of what you can expect of this pedal right out of the box. I've been extremely excited for this ever since I tried it at NAMM in 2019. I'm sure this will end up on a lot of "Best Of" lists.

I‘ve been testing a lot of modulation multi fx like the Mobius, the Wampler Terraform, the Poly Beebo, etc and I‘ve got the feeling that the GFI one here is the most natural and organic sounding one (still in 2022) when it comes to effects like chorus, etc - what do you think?

heya! apologies for the late response! i didn't see this when you posted it. there are no other pedals or effects on the demo besides the synesthesia. that shimmer was the octave. IT RULES!

hmm. maybe! i’m usually once-and-done type, but i’ve been meaning to revisit certain things (including that!)
How do you retrieve the preset saved? does the pedal have a memory bank which stores your preset? I bought this pedal used. It's in great condition. I have not downloaded the manual yet.
If I’m on number 3 octafunky preset for example, can I change a singolar effect? Can I change the envelope filter with a octaves for example? I have here this pedal and I have a lot of confusion
