both game should colab, like make your own system in universe sandbox and then in some ways transfer the data from it to space engine and then enjoy your system in beautiful lightning of SE, that would be great.
Actually Its already Possible to create/edit planets and systems in space engine (Ive never done it though) ive only edited planets. So that colab would mostly be useless. Space Engine uses a different code from Unieverse Sandbox 2. Since space engine can render procedural terrain on planets witch universe sandbox 2 cant so there would be some compatibility issues. Its not a bad idea dont get me wrong but.. i don't think its "somewhat" possible for that to happen.
@@_Leo_- Yo I feel you man I used to have a HD5570 less than a year ago before I gathered up my christmas money for a GeForce GTX1650 Runs like a charm, and still somehow worked on my old card with at least 20fps+ Just requires a modern card, can be very cheap
@@Zi7ar21 Yeah, but I have my eyes on a GTX 1660Ti for now. I'm planning a huge update in few months and that's the upgrade I want. I'm tired of 25fps or even lower
@@Zi7ar21 Most parts of the game are asynchronous including the procedural generator, so it will probably run at 60 on anything except Intel integrated graphics, however it will take longer for the terrain to become pretty if you're running a low-grade GPU. The one exception might be spaceships which are insanely hardware-intensive apparently.

Thats a problem with SpaceEngine more than the cinematic. Anything but mountain ranges look extremely flat, boring and unrealistic. With the exception of some craters on small moons and planets.
Thought might be the reason, not to take anything away from the dev. still impressive for realtime rendering though, I remember the times with terrain programs one frame would be an overnight render :)
Nope sadly it's not out yet. I know SpaceEngineer is working on a new planet classification system and streamlining more of the core systems. Rest assured if you see a video titled Official Release then you'll know it's out.
If you turn on auto-exposure, then when you look at bright objects background stars should mostly fade away. Version 0.980 has this option however in version 0.981 the auto-exposure tool has been further refined.
Not much of a simulator. Not much is simulated really. You'll never see two planets collide or something like that. Still one of my favorite pieces of software.
Being in a terra... Flying your skylone through the atmosphere at an altitute of 50,000ft with a speed of 3 mach...And listening to this Wondering whats in this Mountain range? How deep is that lake? The observation is so relaxing...
May I ask how you achieved minimal banding in scenes like 1:20? I am trying to eliminate banding by changing the settings in Handbrake, but not having any luck. are you encoding using custom bitrate or using CRF? Any help would be very appreciated, as I have tried so many things and read so many forums.
I know I'm late but whatever... Disable ingame dithering and inject reshade 3. There is a better deband function there. The initial configuration is weird but it's a snap once you get it.
+GalaxyTraveler Nice! When injecting reshade, find and load the main executable of the game, then select opengl and accept for downloading the shaders and stuff I don't remember (when you launch the game everything's disabled by default).
So when I tried to show this to my friends they said it has shit graphics. Now I dont know if their eyes are in 144p or they just tried to downplay my game
Mm beautiful but, doesn't it looks more flat and less realistic with the light? It seems to me a bit flatter than the older version. But maybe I'm wrong. Solar winds don't convince me much. But it's still in development. Would be beautiful if you could enter a nebula next time :)
That may just be my color settings. The new version allows you change so many different aspects from which tonemapping to use, contrast, brightness, saturation so many different things. Also I would show more of the nebula but I get a really wierd stuttering with the camera which I'm sure most of you wouldn't like.
LifeLive42 yes it could be, wounderful the fact you can change so much! Very cool. By the way I really love your videos, I am sharing them with my friends, they all do this face D: ahah. Can I ask you something? Are you from italy? Because if I'm not confusing you with another channel, I saw a video where it was Italy seen from space in space engine. I ask this because I am italian.
the most beautiful game in the universe
Kirby I agree
And the most beautiful universe in a game.
It isn't a game, yet..
Kirby hey Kirby I miss you!
Isn"t a game, is a simulator of the universe 🙂
0.981 is gonna be so good ahhhhhh
Have you seen the terrain upgrades? Can't wait.
Samsid how can i stay updated with the game?
You go on the news section of their website.
Samsid that reply was fast! Thanks!
No problem. I'm awaiting the new update eagerly too ;)
Space Engine and Universe Sandbox are honestly my two favorite pieces of software.
yep. space engine has been in development since 2004 though.. But its only been public since 2010. However its turning out really really nice!

hm...i didnt know you can edit systems in SE, i thought you can only edit bodies, oh yeah there is an "edit system" button but i dont know how to use
I was writing a detective novel. But space engine made me shift to sci fi
i'm crying of how beautiful this is...

...do you smell that? the distinct smell of burning GPU's
Arcane I can’t even believe this ran on my GTX 1650 at 60 FPS in certain situations without me noticing that the fan was caught on a wire
It even runs on my cr@ppy Radeon HD graphics. Lagging at bit but hey, it runs :))
Overall the software is optimised pretty well

The music gives me the feeling of awe.
beautiful job my friend.
This is spectacular ... good shots from the engine ... enjoy!
I wish i could add an extra like for a Stellardrone track)
That's so good, I always listen to Stellardrone while surfing the universe in SE!
Still my favourite video since it came out, I just love those gas giant shots and the music is too good!
i had an eyegasm..
A stellar piece.

Never clicked on a notification so quickly in my life
Amazing
Mannnnnnn.... Sinclair, Church and DeGrey better get their shit together so I can live to see thsi shittttttttt................. EFFF!!!!
Beautiful but the close up planetary views all look the same - rocky mountain ranges. Where are the plains, the craters, cliff faces etc.?
Hmm not going to lie I think you're right. I'll work on adding more diversity in the next one. I guess I really like mountain ranges/gas giants.
Thats a problem with SpaceEngine more than the cinematic. Anything but mountain ranges look extremely flat, boring and unrealistic. With the exception of some craters on small moons and planets.
Can't wait for the volumetric clouds and water that should be getting worked on after 0.981.
Thought might be the reason, not to take anything away from the dev. still impressive for realtime rendering though, I remember the times with terrain programs one frame would be an overnight render :)
actually Volumetric clouds wont be coming in 0.9.8.1 however The new volumetric Nebula's will be there
How do you get the cinematic like footage?
Your scenery is amazing, alsoi love this song a lot.
Habe mir erst jetz Space Engine geholt, einfach genial zum Abtauchen. Es gibt immer was neues zu Endecken. Super Software 👍
Lots of beautiful scenes. Great video. Looking forward to the release of 0.981. Thanks.
Damnn i have never cried this much in my entire life.
One of the greatest programs ever made.
it's very beautiful. Can you share the location of these spectacular views?
The worlds are random, so you probably won't find them (unless they're a planet we know about)
goatnorth the planets are indeed random, but not different in each game. So every user has the same random planets.
@Mcdicks yes it is but it could be a slightly slightly difference but just a tiny tiny difference
is 0.981 out yet?
Tewfen nope
no :(

LifeLive42 thanks man
Can't wait to use it on my Vive!!!
Quelle beauté l'univers, espérons que rien ou personne le changera
Great video! I love the shower of stars with the music change.
Stellardrone! Great choice for soundtrack.
How do you make it so all the background stars and cosmic objects not visible. For example the first shot of the earth and moon
If you turn on auto-exposure, then when you look at bright objects background stars should mostly fade away. Version 0.980 has this option however in version 0.981 the auto-exposure tool has been further refined.
i love the new nebula and the bloom lightning !
the best space simulator ever
Not much of a simulator. Not much is simulated really. You'll never see two planets collide or something like that. Still one of my favorite pieces of software.
Great job Space Engine, you sell dreams to people.
Some beautiful shots in there as usual. Nice
@LiveLife42, are you one of the beta testers for v0.981?
LordPanda probably
It is
Yes I am one of the steam beta testers.
Mesmerising.
Fantástico. ❤🤗🙋♂️🇧🇷
@Lifelive42, I want to know how you recorded this wonderful video... is there any recording program you use? if possible, please let me know.
Being in a terra... Flying your skylone through the atmosphere at an altitute of 50,000ft with a speed of 3 mach...And listening to this Wondering whats in this Mountain range? How deep is that lake? The observation is so relaxing...
If I ever made the decision to buy an HTC Vive....you know what I'd be playing the most.
Super Tylt the game is free without vr on the Space Engine website :)
Great video as always! Also, may I ask, what is the font you used for the title credits at the beginning of the video?
The font is Bank Gothic BT Medium.
what are the planets
If only they had a real game with this good graphics!
Roberts Space Industries should hire the guy who made Space Engine to help work on Star Citizen's procedural planet tech.
Tbh the planets are pretty poor in SE
Compared to Star Citizen or Elite Dangerous
Stunning video - stunning software
how can i get space engine 0.981
This is amazing... Can't wait for this to come out :D
I wonder if I can get the name of the planets.
Great job. Than'ks for sharing.
Lenmil *thanks

Not late, I took a break from recording so perfect timing actually. Thanks so much, I will try that right away!
+GalaxyTraveler

Okay, man. Thanks again.
Cheers.
This is a beautiful video
Does Stellardrone makes royalty free music?
Terrific video and soundtrack!
Beautiful
YES THANK YOU FOR USING THE SONG!
This needs more views.
How can we bring the universes so close to these cinematic shots?
almost every single frame in this video could be used for a cool desktop background
the fact that one guy made this is mind blowing
How to get the 0.990 beta?
Nice 😭😭😭😭😭 Amin 🇧🇩
what are your graphics settings?
Can I download space engine on a phone?
What graphic settings/modification do you use in this video?
Stellardrone and LiveLife42 are the best
Man I wish this was made with an acutal space game like nms where you go around and explore as a person finding life and oceans
Holly shit i want this engine in star citizen!!! WOW!!!!
Is it coming out soon?
If not can I get a beta test some how?
So when I tried to show this to my friends they said it has shit graphics. Now I dont know if their eyes are in 144p or they just tried to downplay my game
Release date
Kerbal Space Program 2 needs to use this engine....imagine that...omg
Lovely

I might just have to get this game
Edit: I did and it was the best descision of my life
Speech calaro very nice
The nebulae look so much different than the current version of space engine.
Amazing !!
ништяковская игруха тощусь )
muy buen video!!
Reminds me of EVILFEAST
how do they do this?
the game is free?
*simulation
Nice
0:48 Wow!
Must think me of the roman time and the serie spartacus and the life of infinite.
Восхитительно
Это великолепно!!!!
I CANT WAIT TILL I GET MY PC 😫😫😫
I love Moons around gas giant planets
Some could be habitable, too.
0 dislikes... Very good

I wish this would come out for PS4 I would pay money for it.
Space is almost too beutifal to bieleve it is true!
Сколько я скриншотов сделал?
Русский, серьёзно?
hope this works on iOS?
Pretty sure your phone would explode.
It's a PC game, your iPhone definitely can't handle 22 billion light years of pure awesomeness in a phone.
My laptop is freezing playing that game
This game needs real time ray tracing!
reminds me of subnautica
nice view to dislike to like ratio my dude
