To be positive, that's a Top 10 finish first time out and lots & lots data gained. Perhaps Too much grip for that stock axle ? 255/40 Bridgestones and 3* neg Camber: lawd have mercy☺️ those weren't the tires bawling, that was those axles screaming bloody murder. Happy you guys made it thru with no significant damage. I imagine Charlie already thinking about machining NACA ducts on the drive home😂🤣
We learned a ton! These axles were just good ‘ol Auto Zone axles that already had about 7 or so track days on them. Kind of our own fault for not repacking them with a better grease and venting them, lol. We were actually running some reaaally used V730’s when those tires were screaming around T1, hahaha. They were screeching everywhere. But yeah man!! Top 10 is great for our first time!
Basically anytime there’s fuel involved, full safety gear is required. Anything else that doesn’t have to do with fueling, it’s fine without full safety.
Exactly. He’s talkin’ like we’re stretched stance boys or something lol. The tire needs support from the wheel. A little bit of stretch is exactly what you want. Big fat tires that flow over the wheel, not so much. Both GRM and Tire Rack did tests on this. Tire width vs wheel width. Time to do some reading!
1:24 Hey Enkei, how about hooking Brian and the crew up since they're all running RPF1s 🍻
Tell ‘em!! lol
A bunch of RPF1's and nice cars, especially the TSX 🔥🔥
Thank you!! 🙏🏼
Love the TSX!
Thank you!

#bvspeed. Thanks for putting me in your video! 😅😅 I've been waiting for this one!
Btw, great video man! It's good seeing you guys so involved and having one big family to do it with. Keep it up guys! 🤙
Haha yeah, it took a while. Been super busy.
Thanks for the take along can’t wait for the next one 👍
Thanks for always coming along for the ride!
The same thing on the same side we have lost the right hand side axles twice and DNF’d two races, and we have been through two sets of engine mounts
I was just about to hop into the car too 😩. Oh well, that’s racing right!?
@@bvspeed yeah we use our accord for enduro races and I have missed my drive because of the drive shaft issue
Not bad for the first time out! Love the trophy😂
Hahaha thanks! The trophy was fitting for the occasion.
This vid was intense!
It was a long one so I hope it doesn’t get boring.
By the way, are you OTS Bilstein B8's or are they revalved? Thanks!
We are still on S3 coilovers. We’ve yet to build the Champ Car spec suspension on it!
@bvspeed how are those S3's btw?
Bro, they let you do driver changes and the people touching the car and doesn’t have to wear safety gear or fire protection?
Basically anytime there’s fuel involved, full safety gear is required. Anything else that doesn’t have to do with fueling, it’s fine without full safety.
Who makes those window clips?
Look up DZUS fasteners or latches. Apparently pronounced like “Zues”.
DONT run stretched tires, for god sake ahaha
Who’s running stretched tires? Lol
A slight stretch is actually good to eek out every bit of grip, according to grassroots motorsports testing

Great team effort 👌🏻
How did those RE-71RS tires hold up?
