- Gridlife TrackBattle is a track day series with an emphasis on the grassroots, and the comradery and community of automotive enthusiasm. But most importantly, it’s a place for speed and competition. The perfect stage for Time Attack.
In the first TrackBattle of the 2017 season, Gridlife Mid-Ohio saw dozens of drivers from all different walks of life come head to head. Battles of skill, modification, and consistency were waged all weekend, and we were there to capture it all.
We’re proud to join forces with the guys and gals of Gridlife to bring the exhilarating competition to you. Over the course of the 2017 TrackBattle season, we’ll capture the highs and lows of competition, as dedicated racers attempt to put down their fastest times and ultimately claim victory.

We've been hired by GRIDLIFE this track season to produce these recap episodes of the TrackBattle series. As you may have noticed, these are totally different from anything we've done in the past. We really hope you guys all enjoy! We've never tried to produce something with such a "TV" feel, so give us your feedback! And by the way, that's Jarod from Formula D narrating!

I think the videography and editing is top-notch. The only thing that was strange for me was watching the video and not hearing either one of the Ben's voices as the person speaking in the background I do not recognize. and that changes the feel of the video for me. Other than that perfectly Polished and good job with this round of filming.
Chris Maddison yeah I find not hearing any of the ben's voices a little strange also.
Oh my fucking God, there's a bone stock Honda Fit competition? We need to get Mr. Regular and Silicone Sally on this track, yo! That would be so cool to just watch a bunch of regular cars and their drivers try to compete in a time attack competition. Kinda like a driving/Motorsports version of "Dancing with the Stars" or something like that, where they all get coached by some pros to improve their driving techniques and we all get to watch. Oh man, I'm getting needlessly excited over this concept now.
The whole series happened because some of our instructors and Time attack drivers cars were all broke at the same time and they brought their daily drivers (honda fits) and took them out on track. A couple of them were chasing each other around all day on track and couldn't stop talking about how fun it was. Then at the next event there were 3 fits then 5. So we just made a series around it.
Ok, I wanted a Fit before, but now I REALLY want a Fit.
What you're neglecting to note is how they all have open diffs.

Great job guys! This was awesome to watch. Entertaining, well put together, good combo of voice over and interviews. A little more racing would be good to see though. Then again, this was kind of inspiring me to go race, so maybe I'll head out to my garage and get to work!

I love seeing people come out from Cincinnati to represent! Even I didn't think we had even a decent car scene, but after going away to school once I came back I decided to dig a little deeper. Tons of car meets around town and high-performance shops for domestic and imports. A great city to come check out if you haven't yet.
