  • Whats up people ! Picked up a Ryobi 13 inch 18 volt lawn mower from home depot for 199. Now this lawnmower is small and light (compact) something you can easily store away and won't take up room but will it have the power to cut grass and make it worth the purchase. well this is what we test in the video so lets see how it does !
Let me know what you guys think in the comments below. i'm still undecided, not sure how i feel about it coming from a full size gas mower.
    Thanks for watching !!!!

Great review. I just bought my first house and I've been doing hella research into what tool line I wanted to go with for around the house. I know there are better tools out there but for the price and not needing to have 12 chargers plugged in. Ryobi fits the bill. I'm gonna for sure be picking this guy up

@@antoniobridgeforth2362 I also bought my first house last year. I have over 10 ryobi tools that take the 18v battery and every single one satisfied me. The amount of tool for the money is better with ryobi than any other brand. I can buy three ryobi Sawzalls for the price of a single Dewalt. Even if it breaks in 5 years (which it hasn't yet) just buy a brand new one to replace it and you're still saving money

I have one, found your review to be just about spot on, I love being able to haul it around so easily but it's not a gas mower, I also agreed with your assessment of the catcher, really great to get the clippings into a container, but you find yourself doing it much more often.

I love it! I mow about 1/4 of an acre and it works great for me. It is light weight and easy to carry. I'm a 5'2" female so it's perfect for me. I am able to mow the front with 1 battery; I have 3 batteries; the backyard takes 2 batteries. I prefer to use the mulch plug, but the bag is fine, I just don't feel like stopping to empty it... besides mulching is good for the lawn. Overall if you have a small to medium sized lawn, I think this is an excellent mower... user friendly, does a great job of mowing. If this one stops working I might graduate to the 16" mower, but maybe not... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Nice video, you helped me with a few things as I was putting it together. I didn't get the battery operated one, short on cash so I got the cheapest corded 13" mower. You can't go wrong for 99$. I don't have much to cut, so I think I can handle it. Very light for an old gal, which is nice. I hope I don't regret getting the corded one, but at 99$, No big deal. Haven't used mine yet, but I just put it together, which couldn't be easier. I can't wait until tomorrow to see how well it runs. You helped me figured out how to set the height, thanks. I'm questioning using the bag to catch the clippings, not worried about that unless it causes a problem. I use to be a freak about my grass, not any more because of where I live, it was a Big waste of time.
I'll be back to let you know how well it did for granny..lol Thanks

Great review! We're looking for a mower for our postage-stamp size yard that is just a bit too large to use a Weed-Eater on the whole thing. Needs to be small and lightweight so my wife can use it when I'm on business trips. I suspected this mower would fit the bill, and watched several reviews. However, yours is the only one to objectively demonstrate both how small (using your flip-flop) and lightweight (picking up with one hand) this mower is. Decision now made. Thank you!
