I finally got Rise, and after having played melee weapons during my over 10 years of MH, decided to force myself to use a ranged weapon for once. HBG just shoot through my heart and now I can't let it go, so fun

You know those quests master Utsushi gives you that can unlock new switch skills? While I'm stubborn and decided I was gonna do each of them with their respective weapons, regardless of wether or not I've ever actually used that weapon before. Of all of them the HBG gave me the most trouble by far .... but this guide got me threw it. Thanks a ton man

i only got in mh in world and really enjoy playing My WayTM , picked up the heavy bowgun in rise and im loving it , probably not gonna use everything in this video because im a mega noob but the information is well laid out, at least i know not to charge all the time now :P
Looked up this guide because I feel as though I've gotten just about everything down and wanted to know if I was missing anything, so I absolutely agree with the message at the beginning. Did not realize that charging isn't necessarily better than shooting uncharged, so I may or may not take that into consideration going forward. As for wyvern ammo, I find it can be fun to just simply start charging and wait for the monster to come to you. If you know it's not going to fire a projectile and you time your shot right, you can use the recoil from the shot as a backstep of sorts while doing good damage. Also I learned the hard way not to use spread/wyvern ammo in multiplayer without a brace deco :(

Those title cards for each chapter gave me a headache. The font is cool, but nigh unreadable at times. Thanks for naming each chapter using the chapter tool, otherwise I would have been lost.
After drawing these all by hand I realized it myself and I will try another more thoughtful technique in the future. Sometimes you just gotta go with it rather than waste more time perfecting stuff.
This guide is awesome! Entertaining and informative. You are really good at building tension and hyping, also the panels in writing are very cool. That is a video well made
1. The way it was written was subtly pretty well done, could definitely see it coming out of an actual anime. 2. The vocal performance was dramatic, but controlled. Lot of cringe ones go way over the top, don't know how to actually contain and *use* vocal energy, but instead just spill it out all over the fine china. 3. Mic is decent and processed well enough 4. The Gurren Lagann soundtrack in the background definitely help, plus it was mixed well with his vocals, and his monologue was actually a lot like the stuff you hear in Gurren Lagann. TL;DR: Smart choices, inspired by and in respect to a pretty baller ass anime.
I just wish they'd get rid of the "load" when activating wyvernsnipe/eye and wyvernheart. It makes no sense. It's clearly shooting a different type of ammo than everything else. Every other type of ammo is SIMULTANEOUSLY loaded into the gun. Why the hell do I need to manually load the special shot's ammo in there? It should be already in the gun just like the other thousands of rounds of ammo you have loaded.
Listening to your switch skill ideas, it suddenly occurred to me that the tenderize animation from Iceborne would’ve been an incredible alternative, as well as the type-2 Wyverneye.

I'm a game designer (well working on it) and this is what I want to see. This guy is picking up what I'm putting down. Play isn't about knowing everything, it's about finding stuff out. Regardless of if it's optimal or not. To discover something and really make it yours. I haven't seen a damn thing yet and I already appreciate this.
