  • Moving the attention from UP AND OUT back to IN AND DOWN. Body-based focus helps the nervous system settle, brings the adrenaline levels down which in turn helps tinnitus quieten down.

Thank you very much, I was lost with all these frightening informations we can find on the web.
You inspire me this : "The sun threw the days, the moon threw the nights, and stars, giving light to the darkness", and you're the stars.

for what it is worth....i developed tinittus in 1996 at the age of...32 (loud rock music and dance clubs). at first i was freaked out but i "made friends of it". HOW DID I MAKE FRIENDS OF IT? i realized i got tinnitus due to fun, loud clubs and i had no regrets....so I made friends with my tinnitus. when i would go to sleep at night, i would hear the tinittus and say to myself, "i got this because i had FUN. !!! ...(and i didn't lay there and fight it (ie: WHY ME! WHY ME! WHEN WILL IT STOP)...ALSO.....GOOD NEWS? Your mind gets used to it and tends to ignore it or "not see it as a problem". ...BAD NEWS . I did still go to loud clubs (because all i friends did). ....not even ear plugs stopped the ringing from getting bad if i went to clubs or very large (loud) business conferences. I quit the clubs. I quit the friends that go to loud clubs. After 21 years of tinittus, it really isn't a big deal (because my mind is used to it) and I don't "view" tinittus as the enemy, its b/c I had lots of fun. GOOD LUCK TO ALL. Love to all tin people!

LOVE your attitude: looking at tinnitus as a byproduct of a life well lived and enjoyed. Wishing you all the best. My life is great, despite the tinnitus...and I look at my tinnitus - not loud, but annoying, as a sign that I need more self-care and to drop the "extra" responsibilities that don't serve me and are not necessary. Lack of sleep stresses me and makes it more annoying. I find chiropractic and massage to be very helpful to clear the knots, trigger points and adhesions and makes my tinnitus seem much quieter.

I've done guided meditation on whole body relaxation, but I've never throughly enjoyed it because it seemed 'deadening' (I'm sorry if this is wrong)
I will focus on these pleasurable and safe feelings now as explained on this video

....continued.......whenever I go somewhere loud (Las Vegas casinos, Paris, France, the loud streets of Los Angeles (where I live)....I wear earplugs. I don't mind that people can see them. I had a custom pair of ear plugs made. They are tan in color and most people don't even recognize them. BEWARE. One ear doctor charged me 250 usd for one pair of earplugs custom made. then, i shopped around and got them made for 75.00 usd. I wear them all the time, (ie: on a date at a loud restaurant)....and my date doesn't even know i have them in. besides, these days, many people understand how bad loud music / noise is and they think you are SMART and intelligent for caring enough about yourself to wear ear plugs.

Hi, Julian. Where did you learn all that you did about the nervous system and "the skinbag of experience" so to speak? Any books that you recommend? It's very fascinating stuff.

    Hi
I'm about to complete 3 weeks with a very low T, i only hear it at night.
all the evidence points that the cause might be Stress, however i'm being really positive, now i dont get stressed that much but i just have a question....
I'm sure the T will go away completely, but in the meantime at night WHAT IS BETTER, MASK THE T OR HEAR THE T???
some people say that hearing it is good so the brain habituates, some say that is better to mask it so the brain doesn't hear it and eventuallly doesn't produce the sound anymore.
Yo have a lot of experience in this topic and i would really appreciate your answer. THANKS A LOT

Good question because I’ve heard both things as well. I decided to let it be and I sleep fine. But Peter Studenik healed his listening to a tonal sound 8 hours a day given to him by a hearing doctor. He also reduced stress. Check out his videos too.

Όταν λες ότι πρέπει να σταματήσω εννοείς τι μουσική με τα ακουστικά ?Ο γιατρος εσένα γτ σου εδωσε κορτιζονη ?

i get money for comments

....one more thing......I have tinittus for 21 years. (1) your mind gets used to it so don't panic. (2) stress makes it worse. (3) caffeine makes it worse so i only have 2 coffees in the morning and not three. (3) i have never heard or tried anything that cures it and most things called a "cure" are bogus (4) i have had EXCELLENT luck with hypnotherapy for my tin.

Jaskirat, check out Julian's other videos. I won't speak for him, but he generally recommends weekly body-based therapy (e.g. craniosacral therapy), weekly talk therapy (e.g. psychotherapy) and other techniques he details in his book and his videos. you can do it !

@@Just4izzybell lol I think I tried some therapy a little bit, nothing too crazy, just some stuff about tapping your neck. But I just moved on. I’ve been using white noise to sleep at night and fortunately I cannot hear my tinnitus during the day. Probably not the reply you were looking for but hope this helps.
