- Do you like to play in the rocks in you Jeep JK or JKU? I sure do and one of the most ear splintering sounds is when you drag your Lower Control Arm Bracket on the axle over a rock and also the concern of damaging your new shocks on a recently installed lift. JKS MFG has a solution for you with their Rear Shock Relocation Bracket!

In this video I will show you the step by step process of installing the JKS Manufacturing Rear Shock Relocation bracket and share a little tip to help you during your install! This bracket is great and increases your ground clearance 1-1/4" from the factory mount! That may not sound like much but when talking off-roading and playing in the rocks, that is huge!

Cool video. Thx for the tips. I always hated that the shocks are the low point and the main part that scrapes over a high rock. I'm just getting started on my build. I love JKS, so I'm glad you're posting actual install videos and reviews for them.

For reference, you can do up the control arm bolt without the wheel on as the jeep is at ride height as the jack stands are under the diff (ie it is sitting at full weight)

Can I just weld it instead of bolting it?
Yes, I don’t see why you couldn’t. You would need to remove the coating first for the best weld tho!
