"I want to help people, not influence them" - words to take to heart 👍
Happy to hear this resonated with you. It is how I got my start 25 years ago - a time well before the internet and social media.
@@wayalifevery honour and respectful of you jeep Wrangler ❤❤❤❤❤❤
@@wayalifejeep Wrangler. How much is the cost
I’ve been trying to decide on a brand for a lift to my JT, I’m an late 80s 4x4 guy and have been a Rancho fan, but now I can’t decide and seeing all these other brands that are so pricey and wonder how Rancho kits are so much cheaper…

Why isn't this the top Jeep channel on UA-cam? There's a lot of channels with guys that do the same thing, but the video quality is nowhere near this good. Everything is clear, everything is clean so it's easy to see what is going on, even if it's a tiny fastener. Lots of props to the camera operator and editor.
And I really like that this channel doesn't shill for a brand that looks good on the gram. Just shows how to do it.
We're truly humbled to hear you say as much, thank you 😊
and with links to all the tools incase you don't have them or are wondering. So great!! Thank you so much Wayalife!!!
I truly appreciate your honest, step by step approach that you use in your videos. For those of us that are weekend warriors in the garage, these videos are amazing! Thank you! 😊
Happy to hear you find our videos to be informative and helpful to you 😎
Your videos are 100% BS free. Thank you! There is a shortage of real 392 mod content on YT so this was on point.
We really do appreciate you saying as much and hope to bring you more soon.
Thank you very much Wayalife for sharing your Rig and your activities, more power to you, God Bless you Sir.
Man I’ve missed a good old fashioned wayalife install video. And feature length on top of that! What a great way to spend a Monday evening.
LOL - you're too kind and we do appreciate it my friend.
Sir, you are helping me tremendously! Between you & a few other UA-camrs that work on Jeeps, I am surprising myself & becoming much more comfortable working on both my older & newer Jeeps...saving me lots of money & learning very valuable lessons. I'm not saying it's for the faint at heart. The ball joints change along with 1 ton steering was a much bigger feat than I thought, BUT I eventually figured it all out & now can take my front end apart & put it back together very quickly. I surprise my wife now with how much faster & efficient I have become working on each of my Jeeps. Thank you for these videos. I would love to meet y'all some day. You have a very patient wife as your videographer. Y'all work great together. Thank y'all both.
This is why your channel is genuinely fantastic. Thanks for keeping it simple.
We really do appreciate you saying as much and happy to hear you enjoy our videos, thank you.
The idea of installing a lift kit on my own driveway has always overwhelmed me. This video gave me the confidence and the boost to do it on my own (with a help from my brother of course). I feel much better to use this video as a guide to get the job done. Thank you Wayalife!
Glad to hear our video has given you some confidence and trust me, you and your brother can totally do this! 👍
It's not too bad doing it in your driveway. A lift is nice but no necessary
I love how detail-oriented these instructions are.
Truly humbled that you would say as much 😊
Probably the best how-to video I’ve ever seen. Each step was explained clearly and you provided plenty of tips and tricks to make the installation go smoothly. Thanks so much for publishing videos like this and for giving average Joes the confidence to tackle this kind of project.
Truly humbled that you would say as much and happy to know that you found our video to be informative.
I’ve had 2 jeeps and ran Rancho lifts on both. The camera work 💯 and when he took the time to show how to loosen the e brake on the center console 💯. Great video.
The extra steps you took to show how to adjust the parking brake, went above and beyond. I have a 1:10 scale gladiator, I don’t even have a Jeep but watched the entire show 😂😂 awesome job sir!
LOL - happy to hear you enjoyed our video in spite of you not owning a Jeep.
This was an insane walkthrough. I watched this entire video, knowing I have zero intentions of ever doing this to my own JLU 😂.
LOL - glad you enjoyed watching our video just the same 😁
100% hand down the best jeep channel on youtube.
Truly humbled that you would say as much. Thank you 😊
Love the install videos! You are instilling confidence in people to get out there and get to know your jeep.
Glad to hear it and that is what we aim to do 😎
Thank you Eddie, Cindy and Ripley, for sharing your stories with us, we appreciate your life centered focus.
We're so happy to hear you enjoy them and only hope that we can help others like you with them. 😎
When I'm ready to lift my jeep you are the one to watch. Just the honest facts and tips. Cheers Wayalife.
Flattered to hear you say as much and happy to know that our videos are helpful to you.
I just installed a lift kit on my JL. This video was a big help for my installation. Hope to see new video soon.
Awesome!! Happy to hear our video was helpful to you 👍
This is exactly what Jeep people do. They spend the extra money on a good lift kit, and save money by installing it themselves. Spectacular!
This is by far the best video I’ve found on UA-cam of installing a lift on a modern Jeep. From the tool sizes used at every component and all the other details in between just WOW. Also kudos on all the steady camera shooting and clear angles, such a great video. Thank you!! Subscribed
Really happy to hear you enjoyed our video, found it to be informative and we appreciate the sub. Thank you.
Man you really know what you are doing. Thanks for all this information and the amazing quality of everything
Really happy to hear you found our video to be helpful 😎
WELL DONE SIR you are by far THE BEST TEACHER I HAVE EVER SEEN ALL OF MY RESPECT TO YOU WOW YOU SHOULD BE PROUD OF THAT
Truly humbled that you would say as much. I really do appreciate it.
Detailed full lift kit install video under an hour and half is very impressive!
We're happy to hear you enjoyed the video 😎
You and Cindy are one of the main reason I got into wheeling. I love wrenching and playing with my toys so your videos are exactly what I love. Hope you both are at JeepBash in Huntington so I can finally meet ya'll. 🇺🇸
We are humbled to hear you say as much and glad our videos have been helpful to you. We should be at JeepBash and hope to see you there.
I LOVE these "how to" videos. I thoroughly enjoyed the Pippi series and still go back and watch them now and then. The way you make all of this look so easy give guys like me the confidence that I might actually be able to pull a project like this off myself. I'm also a HUGE fan of the fact that you try to get products made in the USA and also that you don't just get the biggest, baddest, most expensive stuff you can find. You keep it accessible for those of us who don't have tens of thousands of dollars to spend on all of this.
We're so happy to hear it and hope to get back to Pippi soon. And trust me, you can totally do this👍
@@wayalife lol well, I DO actually need a Jeep first. I've wanted one my whole life and just never did the thing. I always let something, or someONE stop me. This time I'm just gonna go for it...after prices come down a little.
Thanks brother, I love the way you make DIY not intimidating. I got into jeeping after watching a few of your videos with the stock sport and since I have done all kinds of goodies to my jeep including a fully adjustable lift, oils, sliders, steps, exhaust, intake and you name it right in my garage. I would never have tackled that had I not ran into your videos. I really appreciate your content and I love the editing, it's amazing. Cheers.
That is awesome and we're so glad to hear you've taken on the task of working on your own Jeep! Congratulations to you.
All the information is OF COURSE the best part of these videos - BUT - there is NO ONE ELSE that OPENS boxes like you guys!!!!!
LOL - thank you. Happy to hear you enjoy our videos and our box openings 😁
Wow! Comprehensive and detailed. No stone left unturned or unfillmed. Amazing too, the camera coverage of those hard to get to places. Both of you are contortionists...:). I took the leap in my garage a few months ago and learned enough to fill an encyclopedia. Wish this had been available then. Still learned several tricks for next time. Thanks and appreciated.
LOL - we're glad to hear you found our video to be comprehensive and details and that it even offered tricks for the next time around. 😎
Thanks for actually making videos that help , I appreciate the work .
I don’t like videos that fast forward all the time , I usually stop watching them .
Again, thanks for making videos for the rest of us.
My 392 is something I want good videos doing work on it.
Semper fi
We're truly happy to hear you enjoyed our video and found it to be helpful.
Eddie your install videos are the absolute best. Thanks !!
Truly humbled to hear you say as much, thank you.
Great video Eddie and Cindy! We just bought a ‘23 JLU Freedom edition in High Velocity to accompany our ‘20 Gladiator. We may tackle the lift ourselves using this video as our guide. Love these type of videos. Please keep them coming!!
Happy to hear you enjoyed our video and I would highly encourage you to do this yourself. You can do it! 👍
As always , super informative and great detail with close ups and fantastic descriptive narration. Brilliant guys.
Happy to hear you enjoyed our video 😎
Awesome instructional video, really first class. However, I'd still be the grown-ass man cryin' in my driveway about half way through this one...
LOL - happy to hear you found our video to be informative.
Eddie is the best when it comes to install videos. Straight to the point and very informative 👍🏼👍🏼
Truly humbled that you would say as much. All I could ever hope to do is help others out.
You and Cindy make the best DIY videos. Always entertaining and informative. Keep up the great work! 😎👍
We're truly humbled that you would say as much and happy to know that our videos are entertaining and informative for you.
The best videos out there for Jeep installs. Keep up the good work!!!
We're humbled that you would say as much, thank you.
Always the best "DIY" videos as evidenced by this one. When I put my lift on my JT and was fighting to get the springs in I wish I'd known the great tip about using the jack to get the opposite side to full droop. Can't wait to use it when I help wrench on another Jeep.
Humbled that you would say as much and glad that you were able to learn from our video.
One of the best guides on how to setup a suspension period.. angles lighting all top notch and on point.
Truly humbled that you would say as much and happy to hear you found our video to be informative 😎
Thank you so much for this video! The first and only video I’ve come across that actually explains everything in detail down to the drag link.
Happy to hear you found our video to be informative and useful.
Just love your DIY videos, step by step, not many of those out there. Thank you.
We're so happy to hear you find them to be educational 😎
Eddie, I’ve watched you do so many of these install videos. Never gets old. And fantastic explanation, tools, unboxing, and tips. ⚔️❤️🇺🇸
Truly humbled that you would say as much and happy to hear you enjoy our videos.
Your channel is my go to for my JT upgrades and installs. Thanks for sharing. Too funny how the pup jumped under to watch you and make sure its done right.
Happy to hear you enjoy our videos and yes Ripley is a hoot 😁
Wow! This video is just what I needed. I have to do this to my JK and I kept thinking that with a little bit of help I could tackle this in my garage; this just proved it can be done. I know, I know, a 09 JK is nowhere near your 392, but the video is a very good general idea of what can be expected when I do it (+ or - a few details). Thanks, Eddie and Cindy for another great production!!!
Oh yeah, you can totally do it and in some ways, it's even easier on a JK being that the torque specs are lower on things like the control arms and the rubber isolators are not indexed. Otherwise, the steps are pretty much the same.
I enjoyed watching this video despite having already lifted mine (with the aid of your previous videos). I picked up some new tips on this video that I wish I’d known when I did mine. You three make the best videos, thanks! Looking forward to a review on those Rancho shocks too. 😉
That's awesome and glad to hear you not only enjoyed the video in spite not needing it but that you also were able to pick up some new tips as well. 😊
Best video ever to inspire me to do a lift myself and acquire some tools. Outstanding!
Awesome! You can do this!! 👍
Best instructional video. Thank you for all your time making it so well. My install was flawless. Cheers
Truly humbled that you would say as much and glad to know it was helpful to you.
I love watching Americans work on cars. They'll use MM then Inches then Lbs then Kg etc WITH NO PROBLEM! No complaining about conversions or metric vs imperial just, "next i'll need...". It's beautiful. Thanks for the video.
LOL - admittedly, it would be nice if everything were the same but being that they're not, what are you gonna do 😁 Glad you enjoyed the video 👍
Hell yes another great video of Wayalife
LOL - we appreciate your enthusiasm 😎
I’ve been watching your channel ever since buying my JLUR in 2018…thank you for putting out such informative and helpful content.
Really happy to know that you enjoy our videos and find it to be informative.
I'm quite impressed with this RANCHO kit👍👍
I think it's a lot nicer than a lot of people think or give it credit for.
Eddie, thanks for such great videos. You make great instructional videos that anybody can follow.
I appreciate you saying as much and glad you find our videos to be enjoyable to watch 😎
So much attention to detail in this video 👌🏽💯
Happy to hear you found our video to be detailed and informative.
Great video. I believe that's the first time I've seen a video of someone explaining how to do a lift like you did. Thanks
Thank you and we're glad to hear you found our video to be informative.
Having installed many JK lifts myself, this is truly such a great and thorough guide to help anyone do it themselves. Great stuff as always!
Glad to hear you found our video to be thorough and informative 😎
Man you’re so good at this, the instructions and communication is clear and precise. I don’t own a Jeep but when I do, I’m coming back to this video. Subbed!
Truly humbled that you would say as much, thank you.
🔥🔥🔥 it’s really educated and informative!
Glad to hear you found our video to be educational and informative 😎
You make the install look easy. I’ll end up breaking or stripping something. Not trying at home, but after watching you, I’m officially a great arm chair quarterback.
LOL
I can already tell this video will be a huuuuge success. Wayalife makes the absolute best videos on YT, and now this lengthy gem of a video. Cant wait to watch the entire video later tonight!!! Thank you!!!
Truly humbled that you would say as much and hope you find this video to be thorough and informative.
@@wayalife Absolutely, we can learn a lot from channels like yours/you. Thanks for all the hard work.
I like the fact you didn’t push a specific lift brand you actually just showed people how to install a lift I applaud you for that
Happy to hear you could appreciate what we were doing with this video. Can't tell you how many people gave me grief for not installing the brand they chose to buy LOL
@@wayalife I went with rough country tired of everyone saying mopar or rock krawler etc everyone is different a finances are different
@@mikeglass4267 Funny thing is, those people saying as much have never installed or tested anything else.
@@wayalife that’s very true I’ve used rough country Rancho etc I’m not a one brand kinda guy a lot of people think if your not dropping thousands and thousands of dollars on lift it’s garbage
Thank you for the informative and thorough video! Attention to details were/are second to none!!
Glad you enjoyed it and found it to be informative.
Great content! I saved this for future reference if needed. Thorough and honest advice. Thank you! Man that start up really gives me that V8 itch!
LOL - hard not to want a V8! Glad you found our video to be worthy of saving for future reference 😎
Fantastic video! Very helpful step by step.I’m sure I will reference this video when I install my own lift kit on my 392.Thanks for the content’
Awesome! Happy to hear you found this video to be useful.
Excellent video! I'm getting ready to do my own 3 inch lift for the first time on my 21 gladiator rubicon. And this will most definitely be my guide. Thanks again

This is a great partnership! Cant wait for more videos with the two of you!

LOL - that is awesome and we're flattered that you would watch our video in spite of not needing any of what you just saw.
I also love the asmr style of audio on key features.
I'm working on my 07 jk I just bought those front lower control arms, my shocks & coils are all rancho... this video is very helpful! Thank you so much! Invaluable information!
Glad to hear our video is helpful to you. Please note that the torque settings I provide are for a JL. A JK is a little different and you can find specs for them here: project-jk.com/jeep-jk-write-ups/jeep-jk-wrangler-torque-settings
Even as an actual seasoned pro. This was enjoyable and worth watching
This is why I love your channel
You pick a good quality kit that won’t break the bank so it’s something just about everyone can afford and then you use your knowledge to give a no BS installation video
Thank for all you do to help the average wrangler owner
We're truly happy to hear you enjoyed our video and found it to be informative.
Hah! Thanks for the tips/tricks! We couldn't figure out how to put the bolts into the new upper control arm. And also fitting in the springs!

Awesome! Glad you found our video to be informative.
On those heavy torques , like the 190 on the LCA's, it can be tough, especially if you're working by yourself.
If you'll look at the torque specs from Jeep's service manual, which I posted to your forums a few months back, you'll see that they specify X amount of torque PLUS X amount of degrees.
If you don't have a torque wrench that goes to 190, or you just don't like the workout, you can set the initial lower torque using the torque wrench, and then do the additional degrees with your impact wrench. Placing index lines on your impact sockets makes it easier to keep up with how many degrees you're moving. If you go over by a little bit, don't worry about it. If you go way over, back up past the mark and bump it again.
Another great video and I'm sending this one to a buddy who's been thinking about installing his own lift kit for some time, and he just needs a little boost in confidence to get it done!
you made this simple = great teacher
Happy to hear our video was educational and easy to understand 😎
Great video ❤
Appreciate the fact much of this kit is made in USA or other friendly countries. Not Chinese manufacture!
Definitely what we like about it too
