Chapter 48: Sarah told us everything before Elena did. Everything. -"Nameless is the price of Maeves allegiance"-Fenrys -Aelin then questions Manon about the Oracle nature of the bluebloods. -"Nameless is my price, but gold is good too."-Baba Yellowlegs, Crown of Midnight -This chapter is the moment Aelin pieces together her fate and the morbid fact that she must die. -This realization causes her to break, she runs to the restroom and vomits, locking Rowan out. Then: "Her voice broke as she said, 'I want to talk to Lysandra" Aelin is planning her own death in chapter 48 and we had no clue.
I just finished reading this book today and I am absolutely broken. Like I was deadass bawling my eyes out when Meave was whipping Aelin so Elide wouldn't have to leave. And when Rowan finally came to the scene and he started yelling "where's my wife" but she was already taken by Meave ;((
Was anyone else absolutely bawling when Lorcan was sacrificing himself to save Elide? I thought this was such a heartwrenching moment because we all knew that Lorcan was a dead man walking, and he had even told Elide as much when they were traveling together. But with the borrowed time that he had, Elide softened his stone cold heart and made him care for someone other than himself and Maeve for likely the first time in his immortal life. And when he was so devastated by the fact that he could lose her because she jumped in the way to try to save his life... I absolutely lost it 😭😭 just amazing work SJM
I also cry at the reunion between Aelin and Elide and I am really confused about the family tree either but I enjoy this book the action scenes were amazing and I agree with your opinions💜
WE WERE ROBBED OF AN HOUR AND TEN MINUTES OF FOOTAGE OMGGG i would have sat here with popcorn and watched the whole thing!!!!!!! Honestly though sooo many feels, I read this like two years ago and am currently getting through KoA so it's awesome to go back and remember all the moments that were amazing (and the ones that sucked) during EoS
I loved your reaction on ...if i had know baba yellowlegs was this important i would've paid more attention 😂😂😂and I'm like exactly why did sarah not focussed on that🤣🤣🤣so many things are like this ..I keep forgetting the relations and where did i read this character for first time . 😅😅😅so many names ..
I was actually for Rowalin since hof, people kept saying they weren’t end game and I didn’t get it. Since I read acotar first I was on board with the inmortal age difference already. And actually I think Sjm knew that’d be an issue since hof too, cause we had that little scene between Aelin and Rowan where she asked him about his age and if he feels old, and he noticed how much she had to grew up beyond her years because all that she’d suffered. Anyhow... I think that’s also why I was able to suspend my disbelief with the fact that Aelin was smart and cold enough to plan for everything once she gave herself as the asked price(for what you know off this book). She’s only 19 but she went through a lot. I agree with you in the manorian part, it’s still weird, but by that time he suffered enough that I said why not. Now that you’ve read it, do you have any theories about the end? I’m glad you finally read it (to know your thoughts on it), but I am more happy that you took your time and read it when you felt like it, since that’s what reading is all about in my opinion at least.
Did no one cried at the moment when aelin was taken away , I felt like I was looking from the eyes of elide and I was crying hell out -When they took her shirt and whipped her so many times again again again again.. -When Rowan said where is my wife 😭😭😭 -lorcan feeling she sacrificed herself for elide ..and was devastated even more after hearing wife word from Rowan .. OH MY GOD and after all that happened we have army of assasins and galan .. I was like dudes why were you not here just 30 minutes before 😭😭why when she was taken they all came to shore... So much devastated of feeling aelin , and imagining on those iron mask , and chains ...
I have been reading these books and found your channel but i couldn't find a video about Tower of Dawn. Have you read it? I like to know your thoughts as i liked seeing what you had to say. I liked the book myself but would like to know your opinion.
I’m reading this now. I really enjoy the series. There’s a couple of them I couldn’t get into, but the for the most part I LOVE them! COM QOS We’re both AMAZING! Empire of storms, I think Maas was so worried about “word count”, so many repeated words! But still a damn good book so far! I think these books are some of the BEST high fantasy novels I’ve ever read! Just my opinion though…
For Tower of Dawn do you have to read it to make sense in Kingdom of Ash? I didn't really like Chaol, so I'm not really looking forward to this book. Also, I loved the Empire of Storm!
If Aelin knew that she had to die to forge the Lock before she and Manon entered the witch mirror then what was the point of entering it in the first place? They should’ve stayed and help fight against Maeve’s armada
She knew that she should sacrifice to forge the lock, but she did not know what the mirror was and thought it could help them. Yes, it would be better if she stayed and fought, but she didn't know. Other thing, even though she knew about the sacrifice, she didn't know how to do it, the process
NO JOKE I LOOKED UP THIS VIDEO MADE BY YOU YESTERDAY BUT I SAW YOU HADN’T MADE IT YET!! I finished that book yesterday so I guess what I’m trying to say to is that this is very ironic lol 😂
I’m really late to this series. But just wanted to share my ideas on Rowan and Aelin. I know a lot of people think it’s weird that Rowan is really old in comparison to Aelin. But I think we have to remember this is a different world and they were destined mates so it’s not as weird because they were meant to be soulmates, to be each other’s other half. Also nothing happens whilst she is underage even so I think Aelin was a pretty mature 16 year old when reading the assassin’s blade and only gets more mature by the time anything romantic does happen between her and Rowan. I think their relationship was also well built because it didn’t start immediately they started of by hating each other, then became good friends and in fact she made the first move on Rowan and he pushed her back at first and he understands she’s been through so much. I did love Dorian and Celeane and I wanted them to be end game at first and then I moved on to Chaol. But I don’t think either of them were the right pair for her. They were a good match for Celeane but not Aelin. Celeane wasn’t being her true self and Chaol like Dorian said can’t choose what parts to love about her and that why I didn’t think they would be end game. I personally hated how he could so easily trash talk Celeane on how she could kill people but still stood by a king that killed so many innocent lives even if he was there just for Dorian I found him to be a hypocrite, although I guess he did finally come around to the idea of Aelin but by then they were already in different paths. And after the hatred he showed Aelin I don’t think I could accept Chaol back knowing how easily he started hating her for who she was who she couldn’t help herself to be. Dorian was great and although I loved them together at first I do think certain things showed that maybe he wasn’t right for her but just a good friend and I think they ended up being better as friend as he could confine in her on his powers and they could relate to each other, a shame they didn’t workout but Aelin did have a mate that she was bound to meet and Dorian grew more as a character after what happened to Sorcha and I don’t know if that would have happened if he was with Aelin. Sorry this is so long 😅 last I just wanted to make a comparison with Shadow and Bone because this is another series people think it’s creepy how the Darkling is so much older than Alina, and I think this is the difference between Throne of Glass and Shadow and Bone. In Shadow and Bone the darkling is a lot older and much wiser than Alina and he uses that to control her since Alina is just this young inexperienced girl and he takes advantage of that whereas Rowan and Aelin’s relationship Aelin despite being young has been through a lot since she was 8, and been through situations that people her age are not forced to go through and Rowan acknowledges everything she has been through and how she’s wise beyond her years. I mean she’s always coming up with these plans that no one knows about haha. And again in this world they have destined soulmates. Idk if anyone will bother read until this point but if you do share your thoughts too ahah. 💕
I totally agree with you. There are so many people who are critical beyond measure about aelin and rowan. I guess one of the main reasons for hating that pair is their age. But, why do people not see that this is a different world... And then, i was also upset about the ending of chaol and celaena. But, I had like to say that celaena is a small part of who aelin is, who aelin wanted to be...so, even though chaol knew everything, he did not. As we can see, most of the authors provide us with pairs that are EQUAL, as in chaol had no magic(no offense) but he was s good, gracious man. I totally love chaol. But i guess celaena and chaol was best but aelin and chaol wud not work...as dorian said, chaol didn't know what parts to love and hate of aelin. And that is the TRUTH. Whereas, rowan and aelin both are the most powerful magic wielders...they understand each other more profoundly because they knoe what they are capable of, what their powers are capable of. They both have done such things, such sins that the guilt never goes away...those things could be said as unforgivable but they ACCEPTED EACH OTHER'S SINS BECAUSE EITHER OF THEM, THEMSELVES HAD BEEN PART OF SUCH THINGS. Wheareas, speaking of celaena and chaol...they both CANNOT stomach the idea of forgiving each other for their sins at first...though they get along. But THERE IS JUST SO MUCH TO EXPLAIN...but am not going to mention every single thing. I guess chaol and aelin would not have worked entirely...though that upsets me but that doesn't mean i don't like rowaelin...they are nice in their own way... It is just what it is... Rowaelin is not as bad as some people consider it to be...yes, it is a bit forced and pushed and sudden in queen of shadows but nkt entirely gruesome or low writing...
I have an unpopular opinion in saying that I don't ship Dorian and Manon...like at all. I just don't see how they work together although I absolutely adore them separately. I lovedddd Aelin and Rowan for the most part aside from EoS. I still ship them but I loved them more in QoS. I need to go read KoA now after having it since it came out and avoiding starting it until after finals so I can focus but I CANT and finals are the next two weeks but oH WELL I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER.
Yay! I’ve been waiting for a book talk on this book! Granted I haven’t finished reading myself 😭 but impatience is killing me and I need to read Kingdom of Ash ahhh
Aaaah ok, I wish I could watch this video, but I'm gonna start soon into the Throne Of Glass series and this can't beee hahaha I'm sure it was a great video and I hope I can actuallyt watch your next one!! :D
I totally forgot that I subscribed your channel because of this series and when I got the notification I was like "omg this is happening, finally" 😍 will wait for your "Kingdom of ash" review, I'm reading it right now 😍⚔️ happy reading ❤️
I’m pretty sure Aelin called on those valg and she used that fight as a show to get Rolfe on board and she purposely used the wyrdkey to dive deeper in her magic an I was so pissed she did that bc ... clearly the gods have past drama with Elena 😭😩 Dorian from puppy to man 😭😭 I’m so shocked you didn’t mention how lorcan betrayed them all lol I was so bitter about that 😩

I hate Rowan so much, he literally has no personality beyond caring for Aelin. Remember when he forgets his name because he's looking for her? How realistic! And I can't get the image out of my mind that Elide is a 14 year old and Lorcan is a 500 year old and them hooking up...nah. Aelin and Rowan at least seem like equals. And the part where they are in pirate's cove is SO BORING. The last 200 pages are amazing tho.
Elide is only one year younger then Aelin. I believe she was 7 and Aelin was 8 when everything happened in their kingdom so she’s not 14 haha I know this is a few months late.
Chapter 48:

-"Nameless is the price of Maeves allegiance"-Fenrys
-Aelin then questions Manon about the Oracle nature of the bluebloods.
-"Nameless is my price, but gold is good too."-Baba Yellowlegs, Crown of Midnight
-This chapter is the moment Aelin pieces together her fate and the morbid fact that she must die.
-This realization causes her to break, she runs to the restroom and vomits, locking Rowan out.
Then:
"Her voice broke as she said, 'I want to talk to Lysandra"
Aelin is planning her own death in chapter 48 and we had no clue.
A trick : watch movies at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching loads of movies recently.
I just finished reading this book today and I am absolutely broken. Like I was deadass bawling my eyes out when Meave was whipping Aelin so Elide wouldn't have to leave. And when Rowan finally came to the scene and he started yelling "where's my wife" but she was already taken by Meave ;((
My exact reaction 😭
Who else was balling their eyes out during excecution scene with asterin?
Yes Dorian, I love him! He’s a favorite of mine. Manon too is another of my favorite. And I ship them intensely. Elide and Lorcan I love as well.

I also cry at the reunion between Aelin and Elide and I am really confused about the family tree either but I enjoy this book the action scenes were amazing and I agree with your opinions💜
Can we talk about Dorian's invisible hands though 😂 that scene was very uncomfortable to read around family :')

I love supporting positive reviews of this book! Currently reading Kingdom of Ash and just wow. That's all I'm gonna say about that :)
I’m so excited to hear your thoughts on Tower of Dawn! This booktalk was great:)
I am amazed at the fact that she can say “weird keys” so many times with a straight face!
ROWAN AND AELIN ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ I CRIED SO MUCH WITH THIS BOOK
I stopped breathing when the blsckbeak matron announces that asterin is to be executed...
I just literally stopped FREAKING BREATHING!!!!
I'm so glad you like EoS!

Can't wait for your book talk on Kingdom of Ash
I guarantee that by the time you're halfway through Kingdom of Ash you'll love Fenrys!
EoS was such a good read!

This series is amazing. I just finished Kingdom of Ash! But through all of it my favorite couple is Lorcan and Elide! Enjoy reading them!!
This series is my absolute favorite. But it never stops to be weird that Dorian Havilliard And I have the exact same first name.
So excited for you to read tower of dawn it’s my favorite up till this moment #stillreadingKOA
Lama nader is it that good? Is it worth the read or can I just skip till KoA? I don’t really like Chaol.

I absolutely LOVED this video ❤️✨
I need to do a recap of the first 4 books. Loved this book talk.
I literally love you!!
YEESSSSSS I've been waiting for this
The first video I watched on your channel was the throne of glass book talk. And I love your book talks for this series .
I’m pretty sure Aelin called on those valg and she used that fight as a show to get Rolfe on board and she purposely used the wyrdkey to dive deeper in her magic an I was so pissed she did that bc ... clearly the gods have past drama with Elena 😭😩
Dorian from puppy to man 😭😭
I’m so shocked you didn’t mention how lorcan betrayed them all lol I was so bitter about that 😩
I actually hated the book until that epic stuff all happened in the end which seriously made me cry cause I couldn’t take it 😭
Thats the same thing that happened with rhysand and feyre, rhys was like older than tamlin and feyre was like 19.Rowan and aelin relationship in my opion was a nice slow burn , that was hate-> love
Very good review. I love your videos
Love your vids, can you do a burning maze book talk
Omg you’re the only one that I relate to with Rowan and Aelins relationship.so happy I’m not the only one. I felt it was rushed in as well.
The Rowan bit is off, Maeve killed rown and his "mate" hundreds of years before aelin came to be in this world
she only killed lyria to break rowan and eventually use him to break aelin
Great video!!
Hi great video
'Nameless' was what Brannon was called, 'cause he's a bastard. So Aelin is an heir to a bastard, a 'nameless' person and so called 'nameless' as well
Hope that makes any sence
Friendly correction, its 'word-keys'
I FORGOT ALL ABOUT THE ELENA THING OH NO
I like your reviews on books 😊
I'm supposed to be a intermediate in English.
What kind of books do you recommend for me?
How can I go up with language by reading books?
Thanks
Im sorry but rowan and aelin are soooo amazing 👏
You are pretty.🥰
a dash of ash hey
I still kind of ship Alien with Chaol
Oh an I think it’s pronounced
MAH-NON not MAN-ON
Capri'sBookIsland I’ve always pronounced it Man-on idk sounds better in my head than mah-non😂
Awesome book talk
Anyone else scared to read KoA?!?
Cause I sure as hell am omg
You look like miley
