@AdventureLife365 yess the problem is that it's about three hours away and I can't go there by myself (im underage and my parents sadly don't have too much time). I'm trying to convince them to go for a weekend sometime soon tho :)
One of my favorite spots and it's so good to see it's resurgence under the new owner. Gets a bit too crowded on the weekends, but midweek here(I've started taking all my ski trips midweek and it's been a blast) is just incredible. With the speed of that 6-pack you get so many runs in and with the way they have their lift ticket set up, if you don't ski the full day you get some money back on it. They also do some midweek discounts later in the season, I went late this past season and did midweek, and they told me it was midweek madness or something the Wednesday morning I got there so it was only $50 tickets. At the end of the 22'-23' season my buddy and I did a late trip there in February and they had like 3 trails closed so they did half price lift tickets. Just love the ownership group there. A good note on places to stay, the lodge at the State Park at Canaan is awesome and has some of the best food anywhere at their dining room. Have a steak...you can thank me later, lol. Blackwater Falls in Davis also has a pretty sweet lodge that was just renovated. Bit of a drive, but both good options and Davis puts you close to Mountain State Brewing Co. which has some of the best pizza and great local beer.
When possible, I also try to go to ski resorts midweek because everything is better! Wow those spring riding prices are awesome.. I’ll have to try to utilize that next season. And thank you for the great information on additional places to stay & eat 👍
the one obvious unique thing about timberline and the surrounding area is the 150" of natural snowfall they receive annually...kind of good to have at a ski hill
Just got back from Timberline. It's a fantastic ski resort. The detachable 6 pack takes you up hill at 11mph. Four minutes to the top. Weekdays at Timberline, you ski get reps till you drop. Love it.
Yep, midweek at Timberline is crazy good. Friday it starts to get a bit crowded. Weekends I usually go over to Canaan to avoid the crowd and people congregating on the choke points. Last few times I've been up there on the weekends I've seen a ton of people get carted off by Ski Patrol with injuries, gets a bit too crowded on some of the harder trails.
For the ski reviews I keep the same format, so different resorts can easily be compared to one another, and snow quality/quantity can change from year to year at any resort. Timberline is general does a GREAT job at opening most of their slopes and managing their snow. And I’ve never had issues with the snow quality there either. Hope that helps answer your question
Went there last year,Im so excited to go back in February!
Yes! Timberline is always a good time, but you shouldn’t wait until February.. they’re already 100% open! ❄️❄️❄️

Great point! They definitely do an awesome job at getting you to the top quickly, which maximizes your times on the slopes

Unfortunately, that can happen at any resort. But I was there on the weekend this past season, and it wasn’t too bad 👍
I was there like a month ago
Awesome place!
What about snow quantity/quality?
