I saw Elvis live and in person 10 times in LasVegas and 3 times in Concert. He was the best entertainer I ever experienced by far and I saw a lot of the good ones in the 70's, 80's and 90's. His charisma and voice was off the charts. He made everyone in the room fall in love with him.He was also the kindest, nicest man ever, beautiful inside and out.❤❤❤
Hi, Teddy, I was. Blessed to witness the Mystical Genius of Elvis on 3 occasions, I am from A small town in Tennessee and I never thought My dream would come true , but it Sure did in April 8 72 in Knoxville Tennessee and I was only 11 years old , the hour drive from Greenville TN to Knoxville Tennessee seemed like an eternity, but I can tell you that is the Very best day of my life and I did see him again in Atlanta Ga two more times, when you were at an Elvis concert, and the space oddesy begins , you know that he is ready to make an entrance like no one ca to see h
This show was televised live via satellite to over 40 countries and the audience was told to keep cool. 1.5 billion people watched this concert. First time this was done world wide. Teenagers went crazy when they saw him on TV in 1956. He was like no one before him. Check out early performances on Ed Sullivan.
This was being televised worldwide by satellite. 1st live concert to ever do that. Because of that Elvis and the audience were quite a bit more subdued than one of his regular concerts or Vegas performances. Check out any video live from Vegas in 1970 for the excitement you expected. Check out Can't Help Falling In Love in 1970 in Vegas. Your jaw will drop in shock. 😂😂 I saw Elvis in concert twice in 1972 as a 10/11 year old. I cried through the entire first concert because I was so overwhelmed at seeing the man I'd been crazy about as far back as I could remember. Women in the audience were screaming and crying and bouncing in their seats. I still saw him just fine even through tears because we were in the 3rd row the 1st time and 5th row the 2nd time. When Elvis hit the stage it was like he sucked all the air out of the room and electrified the whole venue.
The audience was told to stay in their seats due to the worldwide audience and not to take pictures because it would interfere with the live telecast at the time, but if you watch the entire show, some people snuck some cameras in, otherwise if you want to see how crazy his show was, from the movie "Elvis On Tour"1972 is a documentary of his nation wide tour of that year, check out "Can't Help Falling In Love"1972 from the film, the song is from his movie Blue Hawaii, Elvis ended every show in the '70's with this song for the fans, he truly loved his fans, you will see the M.C. have to make the announcement Elvis Has Left The Building, and thank you for checking Elvis out, new subscriber.
People would rather look at him singing and don't move, because he is better to look at than moving around. People back then want to watch without acting wild because they will miss his handsome looks. 😂
Elvis's songs blend raw energy with heartfelt emotion, spanning genres like rock, gospel, and ballads. Tracks like Suspicious Minds or Can't Help Falling in Love resonate deeply, making them irresistible to listen to repeatedly
There was a time people didn’t dance and bop to music like we do now.. lol Elvis definitely changed the culture of music and paved the way for many other “controversial” artists. If you’ve never seen the Elvis movie released a couple years ago (with Austin butler) I would recommend it!
SUBBED❤ THANK YOU FOR DOING THIS❤️ Elvis inspires you to be a better human being❤️ You bring me and other Elvisfans a lot of Joy and Love❤️ Welcome to the Elvisfamily..It is filled with LOVE and FUN❤️😉
I just had to comment you kept asking why people were not bugging in the audience? You have to remember that was a different time. Although people did in his earlier concerts it really wasn’t considered quite that respectful to the entertainer during that time.. Also to be honest with you being a member of that audience, I was too mesmerized to even clap, lol, I was in total awe … It was like witnessing something so surreal that you just couldn’t react. Can’t explain it, but it wasn’t from this world that’s how it felt. I was just numb in being in his presence. Pls react to Polk salad Annie or suspicious minds live Las Vegas 1973. You should also react to the end of his life how great thou art Rapid City 1977 live. God bless you young man I subscribed only for your Elvis reactions and I’m happy you’re doing some made my day.
I saw Elvis twice in concert as a teenager in the 70s. Donna, I understand exactly what you are saying. I never moved. It was like having tunnel vision and being teleported to the stage. It was nothing I have ever experienced before or after.
You need to realize that in order to really appreciate all that this Man did in his performances you had to totally focus on him instead of bouncing around. You really did not want to miss everything he did -- & each performance was always different. Also, he was totally mesmerizing -- you couldn't help but keep your eyes glued on him. This concert had to be a toned down, more sedate concert because many countries would not appreciate a lot of his power-packed movements. This concert was for charity for the Kui Lee Cancer Fund -- there was no set ticket price, people paid whatever they wanted & Elvis purchased his own ticket for $1,000. It was expected to raise $25,000 but raised $75,000. It was only the teenage girls who in the'50's would be screaming & jumping up & down.

I would love to see you checkout "Elvis and the Black Community. I grew up watching him in movies, in live concerts on tv and interviews but I learned a great deal from that video. Please help us enlighten the universe as to how wonderful he was as a person as well as entertainer. If you want to hear his heart you should checkout his gospel songs.
Even Muhammad Ali was taken back when he first met ELVIS. He said "That's the most beautiful man I ever seen!" (And Muhammad Ali wasn't meaning anything other than the truth.) This was a benefit concert Aloha From Hawaii. Elvis was the first person to do a concert Via satellite, viewed by 1.5 billion people.
Omg seriously!!!! I never know that!!! THE FIRST LIVE STREAMER!!!

I saw him twice that year. Once in Kansas when I was 10 and again in Arizona for my 11th birthday present after we moved that summer.
He gave away hundreds of rings away
Elvis not only invented rock & roll, but he invented bling too!

The 2 songs mentioned above in Las Vegas were In 1970 not 1973.
