You see this, keeping the trail elbow in, given cursory coverage quite a bit but it is seldom assigned the importance that it deserves. This has revolutionized my game/scoring over the past year. This and maintaining the hinge to contact.

Russell, thank you so much for this lesson. I went to the range this morning and tried what you taught. I saw immediate improvement in contact, ball flight and distance. I greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.

Thanks, Russell. Yes, that is my problem, my right arm is doing the wrong thing... but now this video will be fixed. Bravo and thanks again

Thank you. This is exactly what i have been working on. I struggle folding that right arm. I want to lift it and it then flies out and my first move on down swing is to with the arms and then it is really hard from there because i have to adjust my spine/hips forward….=very inconsistent strikes. Thanks again.

Many times I view your tips, and light bulbs go off. This is one of those. I know my trail arm is inconsistent (I just watched another teacher say "extend both arms on the backswing" - lots of misinformation out there). I'll be at the range this week (bad weather next couple of days). Also your tip on keeping your head back and turn through the ball. I've just rejoined your Par program. Looking forward to talking soon!

Excellent video, thank you Russell! I am pretty decent with irons having flat backswing likeish Hogan/Rahm (still of course me a mere mortal) 😅 This drill helps me a lot with my woods to get rid OtT, snap hook and dreaded driver slice. Superb! Thank you!

I guess the one thing i have been struggling with this adjustment to fold is i feel like then i am opening that club face when i start to fold…??

Not if you allow your shoulders to turn before your hips. Still over the top.
