My good deed of today was giving a new home to one of those little natives... watching these episode made me realise how much I needed one... thanks DCA and Thomas...
I've had my Begleiter (XL) for about a month and it's kicked all my other knives out of rotation for now.. it's a lovely fidgety knife with great ergonomics, excellent length to blade and handle without being overwhelming in the pocket, and the fit'n'finish is terrific. First Kizer and I will be considering others.
kizer is one of the best brands to get high end materials at a very reasonable price. the best example i can think of is that you can get MULTIPLE kizer knives in 3v and 4v steel for under $100. the bugai is $90 for 3v, there’s a version of the feist in 4v for literally $70, the critical and the klipper are both right at $100 for 3v. there’s not many other companies doing awesome steels like that for that cheap. i mean, 4v is basically cruwear with a smidge less toughness but a bit more edge retention. you’d NEVER see cruwear on a knife under $100
I hope you guys never take DCA away from the show... the antics and jokes and IN DEPTH detail he goes over makes this show. I love knives and the knife world but to be honest i watch this show for DCA and seth... I really like the other knife shows on the internet but these companys keep changing the people that host the show and they are never as good as the last.... Thanks for LOTS of continued DCA and seth and keeping things interesting ! Look forward to this web series every day it's uploaded and wanted to take the time to let you know we really appreciate everything that you guy's do! Thanks for all the great content!
This has been the best knife channel of 2022, besides metal complex. Both channels have been for me the most educational and good content channels. Keep up the good work, David C Anderson!
Hey DCA! Just wanted to see if you were going to do an update video on your experience carrying the Leatherman FREE T4... and whether you like it as much (or even more) than your Victorinox EvoGrip S18. I bought both based on your videos so look forward to the update!
David. Can you try and showcase the closing actions of some of these folders? I know I am not the only one who cares about closing action and it’s a huge factor of my knife buying
Man, you guys always get me with your Spyderco exclusives. I wasn’t planning on getting another smaller Spyderco anytime soon, but after seeing that Lil Native in CruWear I’ve changed my mind lol. Keep on making this great content and getting those awesome dealer exclusives.
Spyderco Salt series folding knives are great for light duty marine use. I like the Pacific Salt and the Dragonfly Salt. Sometimes need something capable of heavier duty. Bought the S.O.G Tellus FX for the same use as the Condor Aqualore.
Is there anything wrong with having the sport XERO series as my kitchen knives? I currently use a condor hivernant with a polished blade and an Ontario agilite pairing knife.
Love your channel and watch these videos whenever they pop up in my feed. I have noticed a lack of mirror finished blades. Are there any out their? Many thanks.
35:13 i’m annoyed by the drop bear basically because of the raised pocket clip screws and because i cant find an aftermarket scales or pocket clip which address the issue.
This is now the favorite time of my life lol. Keep 'em coming. I love that protech but my state doesn't allow it to be mailed across states so I'll have to go and visit you guys to pick it up. Any recommendations on how I do that without my wife noticing lol?
That Jack Wolf has a hollow grind, you can see it in the way light reflects off the blade. Props to them for sourcing a domestic version of the Fat Carbon, though I wonder, though, why they didn't go all the way and use either of the domestic-made M390 analogues, Crucible's 20CV, or 204P from the Carpenter folks.
Hey DCA. I was hoping you might fill me in on the types of steel used in microtech's otf knives. I haven't seen it listed on the website and they seem to be intentionally noncommittal on materials used. I have always wanted a Microtech but am reluctant to commit when I don't know what I am buying. Thank you
The GiantMouse ACE Clyde Denim looks almost identical to the Kizer Justice in Denim Micarta (I own this Kizer). The Jack Wolf Venom Jack looks almost identical to my QSP Worker Folding Knife 3.25" with Bohler N690 with a Blue/ Black G10/Carbon Fiber Handle that I purchased for $66.
DCA. I just received my carbon handle S35VN Drop Bear (Kizer). The lock action is buttery smooth. I have other axis locks in the same price point that are not as smooth. Can u explain this type of lock and why others in the same price point are not as smooth. Thanks Dr. H
Man that aqualore looks great. I live in PNW so I won't use carbon steel often so I might have to pull the trigger on that. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the canyon carver in 14C28N
Man I already bought a raptor from somewhere else I wish I would have known about knife center having the version with the holes because that's the version I've always wanted damn it
Dagnabbit, David. I was delaying buying a Cruwear Lil Native because I figured they'd stay in stock for quite a while. And then you drop this video with the knife featured prominently, guaranteeing it'll be out of stock immediately. So guess who has two thumbs and just bought a Cruwear Lil Native?
FAQ: Ahoy David, Seth and Thomas :) Thanks a lot for your work, love this channel. 300k subs so CONGRATS !!! I just wish to see more and more little edc or pocket fixed blades here... Oh please :) I have a question: (My hands are slightly smaller then average) What little fixed blade would you recommend for edc? I love simple designes. It needs to be tough and stainless. Nowadays i edc only my beloved Victorinox. For hiking i use Esee Xancudo. Beautiful and really one of the most comfortible knife for me. But very underrated i dont know why. Thanks again and keep up the good work :) Greetings from Slovakia, Central Europe.
Here's a little message for Jack those knives would really fly out the shelf if it had a lock on it just a little food for thought, a little something to marinate on
I like the Finch designs and would like them much better if the knives were made in the U.S. Wow - you weren't kidding. There were a lot of new Kizer models.
KC page says the new/featured Finch Chernobyl Ant is "currently unavailable." Estimated date? PS: Kizer has been putting out great stuff for as long as I can remember. Good to see that maybe they're getting some credit now for being more than just a "best kept secret" sleeper class.
Did anyone ever prefer the walk of a knife to that of its talk? Or vice Vera’s? As to say: “yeah I dig the walk of that knife, but man I’m not sold on the talk”
Question.... I'm getting married Christmas day and would love to get my groomsmen a gift. I however do have to cover some issues my guys are against slip joints and do not understand the walk and talk. I will be showing this to the guys so please convert them. This is your challenge DCA. If your willing to accept it by the way this message will self destruct when you answer it. Cheers guys keep up the amazing work...
The apex of a scandi grind is not narrower than a flat grind. The angle or bevel on scandi is thicker than a flat grind, which makes it a tougher edge and more resistant to chipping when doing heavy cutting tasks on wood or bone. It also makes it bite into wood better for carving and chopping.
I was talking about the secondary bevel on those other grinds. Whereas a flat or hollow ground knife will usually be sharpened at the 15-20 degree range, a Scandi's edge is more like 12 degrees. Yes, the bevel is thicker overall, but the apex itself is more acute. -DCA
My good deed of today was giving a new home to one of those little natives... watching these episode made me realise how much I needed one... thanks DCA and Thomas...
One of the best tables of new knives in along time.
Kizer is killing it!
Fat carbon and elmax is a great combo. Kizer is crushing it

Loving them right now !!! Awesome fit and finish and value for money! I got an M390 deviant for 85 pound ( about 80 us dollars) I love it

Loving the kizer blades.
Kizer is just absolutely killing it
This has been the best knife channel of 2022, besides metal complex. Both channels have been for me the most educational and good content channels. Keep up the good work, David C Anderson!
Almost 40 minutes of new knives!!! My Thursday night is lit right now!
Kizer for Brand of the Year. every release has been awesome
That Venom Jack is one of the few Jack Wolf designs I like .
Thanks, David. Your command of descriptive language is, as always, impressive.
You have no idea how satisfying it is to hear someone pronounce begleiter correctly. 🤤
You mean it’s not ‘Beeglitter’!? 😮
You easily satisfied.
Bic lighter?
@@crawfordjason more like big lighter, but that's pretty close!

Always enjoy watching and listening to you, DCA. I learn something every time. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
Kizer knocking it out of the park!
Would love to see that cru-wear lil native with the new wharncliffe blade shape !
Hey DCA! Just wanted to see if you were going to do an update video on your experience carrying the Leatherman FREE T4... and whether you like it as much (or even more) than your Victorinox EvoGrip S18. I bought both based on your videos so look forward to the update!
Best selection in months it seems!
David. Can you try and showcase the closing actions of some of these folders? I know I am not the only one who cares about closing action and it’s a huge factor of my knife buying
I love my most used knife. The spyderco urban in n690. Takes a wicked edge too.
I believe the steel in the Escort is actually 20cv and not s35vn. Just a heads up. I think it justifies the price a bit more. Thanks for the content
They noted it on screen
Big Sexy is the Bob Ross of the knife retail advert game.
Man, you guys always get me with your Spyderco exclusives. I wasn’t planning on getting another smaller Spyderco anytime soon, but after seeing that Lil Native in CruWear I’ve changed my mind lol. Keep on making this great content and getting those awesome dealer exclusives.
What a selection of new knives! I’ll take ‘em.
Man o man - KIZER IS CRUSHING IT!!!! Other knife manufacturers should be sweating. Wish I had money to spend - gteat video DCA and Knifecenter!
14C28N doesn't get enough love for its corrosion resistance.
He's right Kizer is killing it this year their knives are more interesting and beautiful than Civivi's and affordable too.
I was just thinking that as I was watching. Kizer is the new civivi, taking the knife world by STORM !
I remember the Aqualore!! Been waiting for it too! Lots of goodies on the table.
Try an ultraviolet light for charging glow in the dark lume material. It gets things glowing way fast.
Really liking both condors!!!
Cruwear and LC200n are probably my favorite steels. I don’t have any magnacut.
LC200N is soooo good 😍
I don't have any magnacut either, but when I finally do get some, I seriously doubt it will change my feelings towards LC200N.
@@ZPositive I don’t know why lc200n isn’t used more
@@DamionJR4923 for sure. No clue here either. At least we have spyderco building a ton of different knives out of it. Even fixies! 🥰
Thanks for great knife shows,, and the merriest of Christmases to you both,

The Venom Jack is the one I been really waiting for, can't wait
Incoming!!!!

The people demand a KC exclusive Olive Drab Alox Victorinox Huntsman!!
If that Jack wolf wharnie was a back lock I’d be in for sure I love that shape
That Finch Chernobyl ant would make a good companion to my Finch Devil's Finger!!
Is there anything wrong with having the sport XERO series as my kitchen knives? I currently use a condor hivernant with a polished blade and an Ontario agilite pairing knife.
Wow I like that condor
Love how inexpensive your store exclusives are. So awesome
Love your channel and watch these videos whenever they pop up in my feed.
I have noticed a lack of mirror finished blades. Are there any out their?

Can't wait for a sale on that Escort.
I use the area where the flipper was at on The sheepdogs as a finger choil 🔥
When DCA was showing the XL Sheep Dog I thought he’d accidentally picked up the Work Tuff again!
Haha hilarious when he chopped the weeds! I love it when he wanders into them weeds! Good info! Thanks guys for the video
This is by far my favorite video. You presenting bad ass inexpensive knives for a change is so refreshing and gives me hope
35:13 i’m annoyed by the drop bear basically because of the raised pocket clip screws and because i cant find an aftermarket scales or pocket clip which address the issue.

Just pretend you've got an affair going on; she'll never suspect the knife.
I bought a TR-3 like 3 weeks before the exclusive came out. Easily my favorite carry, but man I wish I'd stumbled into the exclusive version.
So much buzz about Kizer in the community right now! Similar to when CIVIVI burst on the scene ! Absolutely knocking it out the park !!!!

Yep, full height hollow grind. Slip of the brain there while filming. Cheers! -DCA
Thanks for the suggestions on Steels Fox! It's been an evolution since the beginning so things may change in the future :)

man that GM clyde is sweet
I want all the Kizers.
Can kizer make a mini sheepdog in clutch lock with reversible clip?
How does the lil' native compare to the Chaparral?
The GiantMouse ACE Clyde Denim looks almost identical to the Kizer Justice in Denim Micarta (I own this Kizer). The Jack Wolf Venom Jack looks almost identical to my QSP Worker Folding Knife 3.25" with Bohler N690 with a Blue/ Black G10/Carbon Fiber Handle that I purchased for $66.
Giantmouse demin knife is pretty cool
Does the Raffir Noble have any grip to it? Without having handled it, the appearance is smooth or slick.
About the same as acrylic or Kirinite. -DCA
The Kizer Cormorant is all that. I was surprised DCA didn’t also feature the black and white S90V version. It’s a beauty!
DCA. I just received my carbon handle S35VN Drop Bear (Kizer). The lock action is buttery smooth. I have other axis locks in the same price point that are not as smooth. Can u explain this type of lock and why others in the same price point are not as smooth. Thanks Dr. H
Thank you, Sir
It's not joint lubricant. I use the same on all my knives. KPL Unless u have another recommendation
When will that finch be in stock?
Looks like this batch sold out pretty quickly.
Just went to look for that Protech TR3 and its not there?
Hey DCA! What secret belt holster / pouch are you using for that red/gold olight baton 3?
New knives time *YES*
Anyone know if microtech or anyone else makes a replacement bolt or something to get rid of the glass breaker on the microtech knives??????????
We’ll I wasn’t broke but know I’m about to be😂😂Fantastic items this week for sure

That Bryan Brown Raptor blade is very SOG Bowie-ish. Nice
The Nomad camp knife is the beez neez, I like it more than my T.M. Hunt M18 (Don’t get me wrong they are both great).

So even though Kizer is made in China for the fat carbon series you get US sourced scales and steel from the US (20cv) or Austria (Elmax)
