The update of Jan 6th 2024 to Motto Akemie iPad version (AUv3, Busy Circuits / ALM) fixes my main gripe with the app, so I am very pleased about that. This super short video explains what was fixed and demos it. Only a very short one today, as I already did a detailed spoken walkthrough on the app (link below), plus I have a really major sinus infection and can currently only really hear from one ear!) This is my main walkthrough on Motto Akemie: ua-cam.com/video/9hqu-F0WyJA/v-deo.html I mentioned Motto Akemie as a runner-up in my Best iPad apps of 2024 video: ua-cam.com/video/hStsYA4LsEI/v-deo.html My Patreon: patreon.com/Gavinski
Awesome! I really enjoy this Ive finally gotten around to playing with it more and this is great news. Keep doing what you are doing. You are appreciated.
So, they still don't allow to type in needed value (like 0.12 or 0.45, or 440 or something), but now you can do incremental steps for making changes? Well, still seems better than before, thanks.
I didn't see any way to enter note values by typing. It sounds to me like they have done two things: 1. Decreased the sensitivity so that you can make small changes more accurately 2. Quantised the changes so that a smaller number of frequencies are available to be dialed in. I'm not sure about the latter, but it sounds that way to my ears.
@@GavinskisTutorials by your video I thought they change it so you now tap it constantly e.g. each new tap changes it... but, instead, as you say, it's still more about tryiing to move position? Anyway, glad to see some change, agree
@kurisuchiinathecrocodile333 it’s not about tapping to change, no - it’s the same as before but it is just easier to make small adjustments. Before even if you tried to make small adjustments, the adjustments were often large and very unpredictable

Cool. I always appreciate a receptive dev, especially at the early stages of a release. Cheers, Gav! (Sinus infections - ugh. Poor you!)
Thnx Greg, I was impressed from the get-go how receptive the person I dealt with from Busy Circuits was to my suggestions, kudos to him

Cheers Kenny, yes, this is a big usability improvement!
Wish you a fast recovery!
Thank you, man I get so paranoid when my ears are involved
This is great, love this app. Thanks Gav!
Cheers Michael, yes, this will be getting more use from me now!
Just tried this, much better now! Hope you‘re back to „full stereo“ soon!
Oh god, I hope so! And I hope the other ear doesn't get blocked too, ughhh
Gavinski doing Gavinski things ❤
Can't but 🤣👍

@@GavinskisTutorials i see, thanks. so would you say that Motto Akemie now really deserves the spotlight of one of the coolest releases of the late?
@kurisuchiinathecrocodile333 i would say that, definitely
did they add undo/redo?
Unfortunately not, that was my second main gripe, let's see if it gets that
Does it have multiout?
No, would be handy, maybe you could request it from the devs
@@GavinskisTutorials Will do!
