INFORMATION ABOUT Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (which was not part of this video, but I will share this information anyway):
If you aren’t healing and feeling MUCH better after six months of eating this way, I would encourage you to look into other possible causes including Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS).

A TONS of CIRS info: @thecirsgroup
Yes. Saying "healthy relationship" with toxic foods is like saying "have a healthy relationship with an abusive partner". It just doesn't work that way.
I'd like to have the CAC test, but feel cautious since it's a CT scan and it needs to be repeated over time. Don't want multiple radiation events. Is there any other way to get the score?
The scan radiation is minimal.
“Coronary calcium scoring has equivalent radiation exposure to mammography, and similar to the level of background radiation exposure experienced over 3-4 months in most cities [10]. The risk of low dose radiation exposure remains speculative.

@@Bhatmann “Speculative” meaning “they don’t know for sure” !
@@lorip3136 -
Yes, the harm done to the human body from radiation exposure is speculative. However the amount of radiation exposure for CT machines is fact. And for the newest Ct machines it’s the same as flying to Tokyo to Chicago one way.

I've had a CAC = ZERO. Carotid artery check= all clear. I've had a cardiac mri, as good as one could want. I've had every blood test possible recently = no inflammation and various readings perfect.
I eat all meat, dairy, eggs, no sugar, make a nut bread, some vegetable/salads. I'm a 63 year old woman, no meds except HRT.
My dr said at end of annual: You're superiorly healthy. I floated out of the office ❤
That's awesome. When you eat some salads, do you make your own dressings or do you use bottle dressings?
@staceyclark8796 Make my own. Cesar dressing or just olive oil, red wine or apple cider vinegar and sometimes a little mustard. I add dry or fresh herbs
This isn’t carnivore!! 🤷🏻♀️🙉

I have worked at a cardiology office for more than 15 years, and this change in the CAC score is absolutely unheard of! But I 100% believe you, because I believe meat heals.

WOW .. thank you for commenting on this even more of an eye opener in the CAC world. Cardiology office wow thank you again @myzerocarblife

i'm pretty sure it cant be lowered
Very reassuring to hear a medical professional in cardiology pushing back against the brainwashing 👍 Thank you!
Here's a positive health story with carnivore. 52 years old and pretty good shape but did have stage 3 kidney disease for the past decade pre carnivore with EGFR levels at just 56. Was always told I could never improve those numbers but just slow the down. Just did a test recently and EGFR is 101 and now levels are back to stage one like everyone else and even better than most my age
Fonz that's excellent.
That’s amazing! ❤
What great news for you! May I ask, did you supplement at all for any minerals?
Hooray! Keep it up!
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Kelly, I get a little positive nugget from every one of your videos. Today's quote "Having none is a MILLION times easier than having one" is just what I needed to hear.
Soooooo true!!
I couldn’t agree more!
I can eat zero donuts or 6 donuts. Nothing in between. Therefor I choose zero donuts. I am a 70 year old guy. Went from a 43 inch waist to a 32 inch waist. I eat Keto/Carnivore.
You cannot train your body to moderate foods that were created to be addicting!!! (Thanks Adrian).
Audra I was just like you! I lived on sugar and when I was having sugar I didn’t eat any protein. I destroyed my immune system, developed hashimoto and hypothyroid (plus much more). With carnivore I’ve healed everything. No more hypothyroid, and hashimoto is almost gone! And I’ve lost 112 lbs.
Thank you for sharing your story!!!
That's amazing thank you for sharing ❤
I'm 6wks in trying to heal my chronic anxiety, inflammation in my body is at it worst.😢 I've a cyst on my ovary & friboids that effect me...spinal & hip pain due to old surgery & sugar addiction for years with yo yo dieting constantly..I pray🙏 I can find my peace & healing ❤
Had a CAC scan in October…it was ZERO!!! Got the doctor off my back about taking statins. Been after me for 10 years!
Sugar/carb addiction is just as powerful as Alcohol or other addictions. I was brought up with candy dishes open in every room. My Dad was an actual "Master Candy-maker" who owned his own candy store and made every kind of candy and chocolates known to man... One of my childhood chores was to keep all the candy bowls filled up... I am now 78 and finally 100% Carnivore after more than five years of "trying" to be 100% Carnivore. It is so hard... the hardest thing I have done in my long life is to resist the carb cravings... I can say this... Kelly Hogan is the reason I started on the Carnivore path five and half years ago and I am ever grateful and feeling good and still working full time with my own business...
What an encouraging story! Audra looks beautiful and is an inspiration to me as I’m about 5 months on carnivore and have struggled w the sugar addiction. I now know I’m not a moderator - abstinence is the way!
Thank you for the kind words
I had a 155 score on my CAC at age 64. My doctor wanted to put me on statins because my LDL was 250. Trigs are great. Not scared because I know keeping on Carnivore will make the calcium dense. It’s the soft calcium that is troublesome. I can hopefully decrease my risk of dying from a heart attack or stroke by 15% a year staying carnivore. Very encouraging story. Very motivational for me.
@ nettiezdolls6742,
I just watched an interview with a cardiologist who said that the soft one was reversible but that the hard dense calcium one may not be. I’m going to go rewatch that part right now…
@@bonnielee7134thank you. I’ll be interested in what you find out.
I’m 64 and was diagnosed with DB2 about 7 years ago. Dr wanted to put me on Metformin but I declined and went very low carb. Got my HbA1c down to that of a non diabetic within 5 months. Lost 20kg and blood pressure which had been creeping up was perfect. But I was still having carb cravings. Two years ago I started carnivore and cravings disappeared. But my cholesterol which even when I was obese and unhealthy and diabetic was normal had gone up. My HDL was high and Triglycerides very low but LDL went up quite a lot. I wasn’t concerned but my Dr wanted to put me on a statin! I declined. I had a CAC scan and it was zero. So even though I had been unhealthy, obese and diabetic for years, I still had a zero CAC score. I am still doing carnivore, although I do fall off the wagon from time to time as I struggle eating a lot of red meat fat on it. I will have another CAC in a few years time.
Like many doctors even though you have such great lipid scores he's singularly looking at LDL and wants to put you on a statin?! How insane is that? It clearly shows doctors do not understand LDL at all!!
I'm 58 and your story is incredibly similar to mine. T2D is gone, it took 5 months, lost 41kg, triglycerides smashed, HDL way up. The doctors don't even want to talk about that let alone congratulate me. They just want to sell me a statin because my LDL has climbed back to where it should be. 7.1 in 🇬🇧 terms. The medical industry wants to sell statins at 5.0 or above. Needless to say I'm ignoring them. 💪
@@zlmdragon.😂😂😂
@@georgegoodenough823 30 or so years ago the UK target was below 7, it changed overnight to 5, i'm sure it was to get more people on statins to make the drug companies more money
Anyone watching this in the New England area can get a CCA at Nashoba Valley Med Center for $50. The price hasn't increased in 25 years. The head of radiology works on their own time to review the scans because they feel it's that important for one's health
Wow good to know, I live in So. NH, and while I had a referral from my pcp, the hospital is charging so much more, and then more charges for someone to read it! I was told that medicare will pay it if you get a referral, so will see when the bill comes, but good to know this, as I can refer others that have asked me about this test. TY

Absolutely for sure. Thank you for the comment
Me too. I have to abstain. It’s okay. I love the food I can eat now.
CAC score 952 just over 2 yrs ago. Went keto for 2 yrs w/ Dr Westman, in 3rd month carnivore with Dr Chafee.
Plan to have 2nd CAC at end of year when 1year carnivore.
I have much more hope now after listening that the score will have dropped .
Thank you sooooo much 🙏🏻💓🙏🏻💓🙏🏻
Really hope your number decreases! Hoping my husband’s does too!
Please let us know!!!!!!
This woman (Audra) just gave me more hope my score was 1400 they told me so now I know its possible it can decrease and I don't take any medication and a big "thank you" I love your chanel ❤❤❤😊
Look up the Linus Pauling heart therapy. 10-18 grams of vitamin C and 5-6 grams of L-Lysine taken in small increments throughout the day. There is evidence that CAC can get to zero. I’m on my 4th month and getting ready for another CAC to check progress.
Some fasting will make it go down even faster.
Good luck with your journey
@secreabillings4907 Thank you for the kind words. thank you for sharing, Sending you good vides. You got this ♥
Audra might have said her score went down but ive never seen any cardiologist or Dr say it can be reversed and ive watched a lot of videos on this subject
I used to eat icing straight out of the container with a spoon. I would also drink pancake syrup and chocolate syrup straight from the container. And when I had cake I would eat the bottom half first so that I could save the best for last and have a better cake to icing ratio.
This is the most relatable comment that I’ve ever read! I’m about 8 months into carnivore now and I don’t miss any of that one bit!
@BetterShannon At LAST! I seem to have ONE other person like ME- in my 75 years of life! You are describing my sugar addiction habits. Even reading your comment makes me want to go out and get of those foods!
I would eat icing out of the container too! I don't do that anymore.
I used to eat sugary cereal for breakfast and then a cinnamon roll once at school. Lunch was peanut M&M's with barbeque corn chips. More bowls of cereal and then a light dinner. Skinniest kid in high school who couldn't run 1 mile in gym class.
You weren’t the only one!
Because of February being American Heart Month, a local hospital made an offer to have a CAC test for $50. I jumped on it. I am 68 years old and I’ve been eating carnivore for nearly 2 years. I actually cut out the sugar and processed food 4 months prior to that which I believe kept me from experiencing the “keto flu”. From January 2022 to January 2024, I have lost 52 lbs. It is not as exciting a number as some others have experienced but it is fine with me. I want my body to adjust slowly as I go. Long story short, my CAC score was 0. I was shocked and ecstatic. I want to mention that the test can also pick up issues I was not expecting. My lungs and aorta were highlighted. I haven’t been back to see my PCP since the test. In fact, she didn’t even know I was having the it done. The hospital faxed my report to her. I am glad to see it picked up some issues that were lying dormant and can now be addressed before something serious lifts it’s ugly head.
Yes, my husband’s CAC detected a cyst on his liver.
Just want to put this out there I happened to be at a local grocery store getting a few items for my family and walked past the butcher block and almost killed over. I was not hungry at all but I saw all this discounted meat, everything from chicken to beef to fish. Guess they thought they were going to have a bigger weekend then it was. You bet I went crazy snatching up all this goodness and then there were these chicken thighs and my mouth started to moisten, so yep had to get them too. I could not believe the luck. Came home and texted a bunch of neighbors so they could go get what they wanted. Carnivore is definitely a game changer.
@sarahstocks3088 I would of done the SAME THING !!!! Noting like a good MEAT SALE!!! Carnivore is a game changer for sure!!!! NEVER going back to SAD ♥ Thank you for sharing.
I can totally relate to sugar bingeing. Doesn't matter how large the packet is, it has to be eaten until it's either empty, or I feel physically sick. I too find that 100% abstinence is the only thing that helps. Carnivore definitely helps in that regard.
Yup! I totally agree, @Nite-owl! I know I have an addictive personality (18 years sober as of 2/4/24). My biggest complaint over the years has been that I can’t quit food (food-like substances, ie toxins) like I quit alcohol: Cold Turkey abstinence. But with carnivore, I can and I do! It’s only been 6 weeks but the cravings are GONE and I feel the Food Freedom I’ve been longing for for so very long. Hurray for us and hurray for carnivore!!💝
I'm the same way. Once I start with sugary carbs I have to eat it all. I know it's faulty thinking. But if I abstain, it gets easier to say no.
@@tonispiegel6952 Huge congrats on 18yrs sober my friend. Kudos for that, for sure. One of the most difficult things is to accept that you have a problem in the first place.
@@Nite-owl Aw, thanks♥️ Quitting booze was sooo much simpler than quitting my drug of choice: Carbs. Kudos to all of us who are working hard to improve our health. I’m truly loving eating only meat, butter (ghee, actually), and eggs. And I can really see me eating this way for the rest of my life. I’ve never been able to say that, even on Keto, which I followed for over a year. The keto baked goods that I made for myself did me in. I have learned I can’t make substitutions. I must abstain. Honestly, I love fatty meat and eggs so much, I don’t miss the other stuff. Restaurant and junk snack ads on TV are awful for me, so I only stream stuff with no ads. Soo grateful and feeling soo good.
Actually tearing up on this. I ate a whole pack of oreos last week axnd hated myself. Got back carnivore yet late yesterday i had those cravings a fain. I don't keep junk food but could have walked to a convenient store. Instead I opened up a can of tuna and ate with pork rinds. I was amazed at how satisfued I was, and am glad I didn't give in. Although I could have used the walk...lol

Food freedom!!! it feels amazing!!
Great video, and it came at the right time for me! I'm almost 70, have done low carb, keto, and now recently carnivore, for so far 85 lbs lost over a long time. Anyway, have always had high TC ~ 350, but low triglycerides, and high HDL, refused statins. I just had a CAC test yesterday for the first time, so anxious to see the numbers. I also take K2 vitamins and animal protein is also filled with K2 which is suppose to "clear the arteries". While I'm only a recent carnivore, this is the FIRST video that has the PROOF that once again the established medical association is wrong for "can't reverse it" So thank you very much to you both for this video. Even if mine is high, there is Hope that I can truly reverse my score on carnivore! Roar on all!
I had stage three kidney disease for the past 10 years and was told I could never improve it just slow it down. My EGFR score was 56, the higher the better. Start a carnivore 2 years ago and just recently got tested in my scores 101. I don't know whether to be happy which I am or furious with the doctors for hope before
And yet they say a carnivore diet gives you kidney disease!....uggh, but so great for you to improve it!
Carry on! @@arthurfonzarelli9828

Yes Weston A Price calls k2 the X Factor. He discovered it in ancestral diets. It removes calcium from bad areas and puts it in your bones.
I did everything my whole life, including major weight loss surgery.
Always gained it back and always more than I had lost.
Until I gave up all sugars, sweeteners and grain. I only did that initially to lose enough weight for my BMI to be in a range that my insurance would pay for major surgery to repair 4 hernias (caused by the open weight loss surgery).
But when I realized I FINALLY had no constant cravings and the urges to eat constantly from waking up until falling asleep.
Changed my life.
A1c 4.8, off all diabetes meds and insulin for years and maintaining weight loss for over 5 amd a half years now so far.
140 lbs smaller than my highest weight.
No more fatty, enlarged liver, as well.

Great testimonial Audra for an early Sunday morning listen here in Australia - especially your CAC reduction. Well done girl.
My cardio refused me that exact request rebutting me with the words “well, I know your arteries are ‘stuffed’ James - I put your stent in”. So I fired him.
Now 12 months at 85% + Carnivore and everything is way way better. Next step is hopefully finally booting the remaining coffee and yogurt lifelong addiction then Full Lion for 12 months.
I will celebrate that with a CAC baseline read.
Keep up the great work Girls. Thanks Kelly.

@@forebackd I will indeed. Hows your own journey progressing ?
Thank you for sharing. I've been Carnivore since June 1st last year. I was "perfect" for the first five months then struggled through the holidays. I'm back on track. The first five months I continued to battle cravings. I still gained instead of dropping, had a few small NSV but not enough to prevent me from struggling through the holidays. I'm a sugar addict, I am an emotional eater and when I kept gaining no matter how strong I stayed it beat me. I'm back on track, pushing forward, still struggling with cravings but finally had a NSV that encouraged me the other day when i put my sweater on (that was tight a week before) and it wasn't tight anymore. I feel like I'm finally making some progress. I know I have a lot of healing to do both physical and emotional. This isn't going to be a fast journey, I know it, but I'm in it to win.

A very inspiring interview. I've been on and off the wagon and am hopping to get back on! I am doing as your guest suggests, abstaining from sugar. I just passed through an off-the- wagon experience with ice cream 2 days ago. Yesterday was tough but I pushed thru with butter, some fish. I bought a pound of ground beef and 3 packs of bacon, cooked them off today and had some with eggs. Tonight I ate cream cheese rolled up inside smoeked salmon So today is day 1 without carbs. Very thankful for people like Kelly Hogan and Audra Coleman who make time to educate and support us. 🎉🎉
Just got a CAC a couple of days ago, had to pay $200 out of pocket. Iowa. Could've gotten better price but a longer wait, wanted it done. Still have to wait 3-4 weeks for results 😫 on pins & needles as my LDL is over 400 and I'm T2D with weight to lose.
Thanks for this information ❤
I just had it done yesterday afternoon for only $50 with results that evening. The score of 506 shocked me!!
I'm 68yo, female, and I've been a sugar addict my whole life but carnivore since Dec 26th last year. I'm about to call my doctor's office to find out the next steps, which will probably be to go see a cardiologist. My doctor is "keto-friendly" and he didn't bat an eye when he saw my high cholesterol and high LDL numbers. He basically told me statins do nothing and that we need cholesterol. I hope he can refer me to a keto-friendly cardiologist as I'm sure I'll be sent for further testing and evaluation!!

I love the analogies - banging on the door, lizard brain. So much easier to just cut it all out. I would even wake up in the middle of the night craving starch. Carnivore was great until the oxalate dump - from years on keto - lots of nuts and almond flour and 'keto chocolate'.

Your are so lucky your doctor said your bloodwork was great. My doctor wanted to put me on a statin because of my high cholesterol and LDL. My triglycerides are 52 and my HDL 101. We argued. I’m searching for a new doctor 😞
I know for a fact that the conventional wisdom regarding CAC is wrong. Two scores, about 2 years apart, went from (I'm going by memory) 147.28 to 147.26. Granted, two-hundredths is probably within the margin of error, but the takeaway is that no, CAC does not need to be a linear progression upwards. Granted, it's not not zero, but considering the way I've abused my body for half a century, I'll take it. And I was not even a strict or even full time carnivore. (I am now)
Also worth noting, the calcium in the arteries is there to patch damage that was done in the past. Even if your score never goes down, as long as it's not going up, it means you are not doing any new damage. That's a good thing.
I received a CAC of 175 a few months ago. I’m now 20 months carnivore and started taking the Linus Pauling heart therapy to eliminate the plaque. I’m 62 and currently taking 30 grams of Vitamin C and 10 Grams of L-Lysine and L-Proline in increments throughout the day. I’m going in for a 5 month CAC to check progress. According to first hand accounts in books and testimonials, it should clear my arteries. No side effects. So no harm to try.
I would love to know what your score is the next time you get it checked!! My husband takes the linus pauling protocol as well, as a prevention. Please do update us here!!
Thank you so much for making these videos!! Knowing how relatable we all are for sugar addiction is good to hear and so inspiring. I can relate with no cookie is better than one cookie!! Great job Audra! I’ve had the CAC and it was $179 in Virginia. Mine was zero also 🎉. Asked my cardiologist that I went to once for it when she tried to push statins. Although she agreed that my good numbers were so good that they cancelled out that my LDL was a little high. My research found the same info on statins and CAC. Statins can even increase it!

Awesome Story thank you for sharing !!!
My CAC is over 800 and I'm 62. I was on 80mg of Atorvastatin and my memory was awful, so my pcp switched it to Crestor 20mg because I dropped my cholesterol after doing Carnivore. I stopped taking Crestor as a couple of doctors told me my numbers excellent. Doing OMAD to help with etophagy.

This testimony is nothing short of a miracle for me, just like this new way of living! I have seen the positve results of going carnivore in myself and my husband. But, the pressure and fear from well meaning family and friends had me questioning it. Thank you ladies for putting my mind at ease and giving me the encouragement to keep going! God bless you both!
56yr old lady here too. You look amazing. I'm new on carnivore almost 14 days in feeling great. Keep up the great work.
I I can relate to Audra's story so much! I struggled with sugar addition nearly my whole adult life even after starting a zero carb diet. ON and off the wagon for eight years thinking I could moderate. I could not. Spending three months eating all the meat, eggs, dairy, and fish I wanted finally disconnected me from those cravings and I feel free. Carnivore for the win!
@teribond7808 Great story thank you for sharing !!!
Thanks for the video ya'll! I have been carnivore for a year. Before we started, my husband (who is thin & fit) had a calcium test done and his score was 200. The Dr wanted him to go on a statin & he refused. He has been doing mostly carnivore with me, so it would be awesome for him to go have it done again, maybe in a year or so. The more great results we get, doing carnivore, the more Dr's would have wake up! So exciting!
Your statement about commercials trigger your sugar addiction, I have the same issue with fast food drive through. If I go 1 time I could be looking at weeks of FF, I have felt so weak in myself. Carnivore so far is easier than I could have imagined, but it’s only been a few weeks and I’m avoiding the scale. Thank you for sharing your experience.
@gloriaanima3575 Thank you for sharing. The best advise I have is to trust the process and stay the course. It works. Sending you good vides for much success 😀
It's not just sugar, it's carbs also....
My neighbor had calcium removal surgery and died from a stroke 6 weeks later. He had knee surgery and they found calcium which prompted the surgery. I think some of that calcium broke loose and clogged an arteries in his brain....
It took me forever to understand this because everyone always talks about sweets. I don't have a sweet tooth, so I didn't actually relate until someone like you pointed out that it's not the SWEETS, it's the CARBS!
That CAC score!!!! Omg!!! That gives hope to many!❤
CONGRATULATIONS Audra for changing your life and living an empowering lifestyle!!
I am so proud of you Audra. Way to take control of your health! This is an amazing video. ❤❤❤
I am so happy to hear Audra's story. I can't moderate with food. I've tried and keep trying to no avail. I'm starting Kelly's coaching in May and I'm so excited! I can be just as successful as you ! Thanks for sharing!❤😊
Thank you for sharing
Sugar addiction has so many similarities to alcohol addiction
This is a great story! Thanks for sharing. My husbands CAC score was 217
3 months into carnivore I can’t wait to get him retested in hopes his score has also dropped!
Hi everyone I have been on ketovore for five weeks I vinge d only one time I'm 52 years old and have been a vinge eater since I was 24 trying to get healthy and stop vinge eating having a hard time but I keep going
In NC we used King Syrup as children on those pancakes and scratch biscuits. That's where my sugar addiction started. Not until retirement was I able to cut out white flour sugars and grains. Proceeded to Keto for 3 years with 25# weight loss. Started carnivore Jan 27, 2024. Am loving it. Not doing to lose any more weight. Am lifting weights to increase muscle mass
Simple to grocery shop and cook..
Enjoy these podcasts.
@vickiegroome3220Thank you for the kind words!!
I can so relate to her comments about looking forward to weddings, showers, etc. because of the cake. That was me! And I wanted ALL the frosting. I was such an addict. Going grocery shopping was a constant battle of trying not to buy sugar and trading the ice cream for maybe an apple dumpling or whatever. I had zero control. BUT, I quit sugar almost 10 years ago and yes, those cravings do go away. I am always amazed that even frosting doesn’t tempt me anymore. Freedom is wonderful!
@BluebonnetShelleyW Awesome story thank you for sharing 🌟
After years of being disgusted with my weight the Dct suggested weight lose surgery. That was my trigger to find a way to do it on my own. I found Keto/ carnivore. I lost 87lbs in three years. I am 62 and had my 1st CAC done this year. I was thrilled it was a 2. I have gained back about 7 pounds so I need to get serious. I also found Kelly and Dct Berry.
Two of my favorite carnivores!!! Thank you both for doing all that you do for the carnivore community and for reaching people who need help and need to hear this advice!❤
@carnivorerevolution
RIGHT BACK AT YA my FRIEND !!!! ♥
Thank you, Kelly!
Thank you for the great interview!
That’s so amazing!! Congratulations Audra! It should be a crime to preach high carb.
Agreed !!
WONDERFUL interview! ❤❤
Thank you, Audra and Kelly, for telling your story. We carnivores need all the support we can get living among so many people who are ignorant about this way of life ❤🥩🍳🧈
If anyone would like support, accountability, community, and a deeper understanding of how to get amazing results from a Carnivore Diet, I would love to work with you. ❤ myzerocarblife.bigcartel.com/category/coaching-sessions

I am very fit and not overweight but used to eat according to the old pyramid- I got a cac score 4 months ago and scored 870 (I’m 48). Even though this has scared me a lot I’ve decided to go carnivore and attempt to shift my ldl from pattern b to pattern a. I’m hoping I see a similar trend as Audra - thank you 🙏
@danthompson5075 thank you for sharing !!! Best of luck !! You got this.
Thanks Audra congratulations once again
Audra's story is great. In 2007 I have had gastric bypass surgery, lost 90 lbs, ate the way they told me - stop eating white breads, eat dark breads, switch to whole grain pastas, sweet potatoes (yuck) etc. I started gaining this weight back. I had started at about 300, got down to about 210, never made it under 200. Then the weight started coming back on, got back to just under 270. I started Keto in September 2020, have lost 100 lbs, got down to 165 at my lowest, have put some back on but feel great. I am 65 (66 in May), had my first CAC score in June 2022, my score came back at 5552. (Yep you read that right). I had another done in June 2023-came back at 6127! I was also told about the 20% increase per year and doing the math mine did not increase that much. I attribute these huge numbers having been on high blood pressure meds for 50 years, not on them any longer-got off them about a year ago now. My blood work is good _total chol. it a little high according to my doctor, and LDL as well. However my HDL and Trigs are great.
I used to take a stating years ago until I couldn't raise my arms without pain. So in 2022 when I went to a cardiologist for the first time they marked my chart "allergic to statins" but he still tried to get me to take them then and again tried in 2023. Not going back to him!! I am more meat-based, occasional salads and do enjoy Keto Chow products and other sweet treats (not real sugar for sure).
@cindydemanche3839 WOW!! Thank you for sharing your story. Sending you good vides to be healthy and keep up the great work !!
@@AllThingsAudra Thank you!!
This is just amazing!!!
Thanks Kelly and Audra
I really like your energy Kelly. Thanks for your channel.
THIS IS AMAZING NEWS!❤. Best Valentine gift ever. My husband has a 400 score. Keto for 5.5 years and on a statin. Another test coming up. Hoping he has a reduction. But, this is the first time I’ve heard that you can actually reduce CAC SCORE!😅. So, more fuel for him to go carnivore and totally cut his risk!🎉🎉🎉
This is so inspiring! Thank you Kelly and Audra.❤
Thank for sharing with us.
That 16 is freaking amazing to hear!!!
Congratulations!
Kelly I love your Empowering examples of Real down-to-Earth people, that follow a Carnivore lifestyle and have improved their lives and have controlled their addiction to sweet stuff and crappy foods!!!!
Great interview thanks!
Wow! An astounding getting healthy journey!!! Thank you!
I don't miss the sugar either. I don't feel anything at all even if it is put in front of me. But I can't moderate either. It's wonderful to be free of having your brain controlled by sugar. 96 days on carnivore. So grateful, so thankful. I had to flip the "switch" to turn off the cravings. I don't eat dairy with the exception of butter.
Omg ! That’s fabulous! Mine is in the high 900 ! I’m not that overweight, Dr said just stop eating cheese and red meat ! Take Statins 🤷♀Well , I’m trying to do Carnivore but not strict , until now ! This is all the proof I need , I hope to hop on your group this spring . Thank you for this video 🙏🏻😊
Fantastic video! Awesome guest! ❤️
25:40 I remember watching a bodybuilding contest on TV and one of the best contestants reported that he was on a high-fat diet. I thought that was the craziest thing! How could such a muscular man with very low body fat be on a high-fat diet? Only now do I understand it. Thanks, Kelly and Dr. Berry!
Braaaaavooolo!!! Bravooo!!! What an amazing testimony!!!! Good for you! Great video Kelly! Thank you!
First time here. Popped in to see your interview with Dr Berry video because I started watching him 3+ years ago when my liver Dr put me on a LCHF diet, then YT suggested this video with something about CAC score, and watched because I just heard back from my PCP today on my very first CAC (the compromise between putting me on a statin & me declining): a big ZERO. Uh, they no longer think I need medication for my cholesterol level (nice to get that in writing). Thanks for explaining the CAC scoring. I had watched Dr Berry explain it a few years back but I forgot… I just knew 0 was good. Thanks for informative videos.
I was cake decorator, cooked all old fashion food and lots of desserts.
What amazing results you've had Audra! Thank you for sharing because this was an important story to hear!
Congrats Audra, amazing results!
Audra's story is so amazing and inspiring! 🥰
Great line of discussions. Powerful.
This story is so inspiring!! 🎉🎉
Kelly’s groups were super helpful for me! Give it a try!!
Thank you both! Moderation does not work for me either and every time someone says some foolishness like "you can eat everything in moderation" I just want to slap them. I have to leave it alone completely! Currently weighing at 164 to 168. All time high was 273. Started keto at 249 and lost 85lbs--maintained it for 4+years, lost my mind and gained back ~20 lbs. Went carnivore August of 2023. So much easier! Lost that 20 in 3 weeks.
