She started losing her balance suddenly and started going blind in One eye. The next day she was euthanised for having a failing liver and extremelly High blood pressure. Even breathing hurt on her. @@wobby1268 i agree.. cats are apart of family. When one of our beautiful female cat died of old age she died in her sleep. My mother slept with her for a night still. We love cats so much!!
The vet hurt my 15 year old cat, they guessed him to be about 5, so yeah, he was healthy. Before they punctured his eardrum, causing him to lose his balance, which caused him to lose weight, as he wasn't eating or drinking, because he got nauseated from dizziness. Which again compromised his intestines, and he went from looking like a fit, healthy 5 year old, to become 15 years in just days.. I was unable to turn it around, and had to make the difficult decision to let him go. And yeah, he lost his hearing, because they had used a medicine that could cause hearing loss in some cases, so even though he got better as the eardrum healed, he was still burning way to much energy on stress, not being able to hear. What should be a cheap and easy ear-mite treatment, ended up costing me my savings, then his life.. 💔 It hurts thinking about it..

By the way, one clip that would be very nice to add is that episode where they treat the homeless guy that would not share information of any sort about his identity, Masters freaks out about it, and after they release him, turns out he was a serial killer.
Because they're in New Jersey. There have duty to retreat law, meaning that you must run away if there is an intruder in your home and if you do shoot someone, even if they break in and you are in fear of your life, you will be sent to prison for murder/manslaughter. Think the opposite of stand your ground or castle doctrine. In WV, TX or FL the story would be a whole lot different.
So strange all of the random info I remember from this show. I get very worried any time I lose weight too quickly, because of potential toxins that might be hanging out in my fat cells.
Does anyone know what happens afterwards? I have no way of seeing it myself. Does everyone apologise to House? and what happens to the father? The only acceptable results in my mind is either he admits fault or gets punished
I liked the dad in this episode, the actor correctly portrayed the angry-because-desesperate family member. At 7:11 he still listened to dr House, 7:28 you can see him getting emotional and thinking hard at the same time. Not plain stupid but a distraught dad.

This is such a fantastic dramatic music during cat autopsy. I can't forgive them they barely ever used it in the show, I think I remember I heard it once or two more times in total.
Anyone can claim to be all high and mighty (by saying House’s actions can be justified while the father had an inappropriate response) but not know whether they’d elicit a similar response.
If you liked the father, Mark Harelik, he played a glorious one-off villain in Star Trek: Voyager, S5E10 Counterpoint. His acting was a perfect contrast to Kate Mulgrew as Captain Janeway. Well worth a viewing even if you know nothing about the series or characters.
If House really only cared about the cases and not the patients, he wouldn't be so insistent in situations like this. He would tell the parent "well, whatever... it's your decision now." and then walk off, knowing that he solved the case.
I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about the Dad’s acting, that “I WANT HIM LOCKED UP” clip contains the anger frustration and heartbreak of a father that is powerless to protect what matters most to him, his family…

@@shinsoaizawa3545Horrible. Even the clips that are supposed to be some of the best scenes feel annoying to watch.

My family had a pet Cat that wasnt just a "pet". She was part of the family and got the respect she deserved. And i loved her more than anything. She started losing her balance suddenly and started going blind in One eye. The next day she was euthanised for having a failing liver and extremelly High blood pressure. Even breathing hurt on her. Its Been 4 years since she passed and i still cry about her. So seeing that cat getting dissected really hurt...
Pets *are* family, and it hurts like hell to lose them.
It hurts thinking about it..
I couldn’t watch that part - I lost my cat 6 years ago, it will always hurt, but I value the memories and the love I still hold in my heart will always be part of me. Physically he isn’t here, but in my memories and heart he will always be here x
Cat saved her boy
Why did the fake cat gross me out more than seeing real life flesh wounds
I can smell it from the screen yet house doesnt even wear a face mask.

Just another day in the hospital. Patients waiting at the clinic, an organ coming in for a transplant, and a cat getting it's autopsy done.
Totally normal.
world renowned genius doctor getting punched by a patient, normal day at PPTH 🤗
*necropsy
It’s only an autopsy when you do it on a human.
"I think you should trust Dr. House. I mean, think about how good he must be to still have a job."
exactly xD If he wasnt the badass he is , he would have been fired like years ago
My favorite part of this episode is the awful dead cat prop. It looks like they stuffed a plush cat with actual organs. I love bad props in good movies/shows

Some of the guest appearances on this show weren't always the greatest but the dad in this episode is fantastic such good acting.
That was the best surgery prevention method I’ve ever seen!
the fact that the family can insult and attack a doctor and also have demands or think they are wiser than a doctor in this show is beyond me 🤣 if they had been more realistic in that aspect it would have a 10/10
I mean, when it's just one doctor that's stopped what every other doctor has told you is a necessary, life-saving procedure... Imagine the situation from the dad's perspective, and not House's lol
To be fair, doctors in real life f*ck up a hell of a lot. Just google the stats for iatrogenic death.
Honestly, both doctors and patients (especially patients' family) are frequently insufferable.
In the real world that dad would be on his way to jail for booking on felonious assault ---
What I find funny is no matter how many times he's proven himself right everyone doesn't listen to him 😂 he's probably the most experienced doctor there.
lol, he always gives 3-4 false diagnoses before the correct one, so he is not always right :D
@@alonsobruni8131 No doctor is always right, but out of all the doctors he's the one that's most right. Without him they'd have an array of dead patients. After some time without house, they'll be begging to get those 3-4 false diagnoses back.
If everyone just listened to house every single time and trusted him blindly he would kill 9/10 patients in the first 10 minutes of every episode
@@alonsobruni8131 You actually think you know better than doctors? Some random buffoon on youtube comments...
That's what diagnosis is like. You eliminate possibilities until you find the right cause for the illness.. That's part of the normal process of diagnosis genius. He doesnt give false diagnosis, he treats the symptoms until the root cause is found.
You simply have no idea what you're saying.
House always goes to maximum what is needed and beyond and all he gets for saving lifes is always a punch to the face and trust issues with other doctors, he deserves so much more
4:54 - necropsy. It’s only an autopsy on humans, on everything else, it’s a necropsy.
1:37 I don't know what it is, but the way he says "Jules is dead" cracks me up every time I hear it 😂
Did not expect to see Karen Smith on the thumbnail! Quite nostalgic!

best piano melody ever
What its name?
The only reason house was able to handle the pain is because of his obsession with cases
And the 24/7 vincodin
Lol you missed the best part of the episode
House: “His liver is shutting down!”
The dad: “What does that mean?”
House: *sigh* “it means he’s all better, he’s ready to go home”
“Ya think?!?!!” 🤣 house is such a jerk. I love it 😂
House spitting on the surgeon was the moment I fell hopelessly in love with this series.
I’m weird, I know.
As a Sterilization Technician, I'd be pissed too. All those trays are now contaminated. And need to be washed, processed, and resterilized. That is dozens of man hours gone.
Pretty small price to pay to safe a kids life. Which is what they were for in the first place so… mission accomplished. Additionally, it was the fact that no one wanted to listen to reason, it was the only way he could ensure they wouldn’t continue the minute he left.
@Colonel Pepper imagine being angry about a couple of your hours instead of being relieved that someone didn't get unnecessary surgery.
Damned good acting by the cat. Didn't flinch once.
One of the best episodes where House is the ONLY good guy in the room. They should be carrying him on their shoulders instead of doubting his findings.
it's crazy when a doctor going through withdrawal can out-diagnose everybody else. however the other clinicians were more focused on treated the father emotionally than the son medically and there lies the issue
House is the Medical version of Columbo, everyone thinks he's a crackpot yet he always solves the case.
Oh my gosh- I 💕 this show! Diagnosis included. This show is fabulous. I would like to know how the writers design the show- probably start with the end diagnosis and go backwards!! Great 👍 job

This series is intense I wonder how I don't see people love it
This episode is so heartbreaking for me to see House going detox and hyperalgesia in the same way I went.. it's not easy not easy at all
@Tom did you know that was possibly the stupidest thing you’ve ever said?
@Tom no, that's a horrible idea. Detox that extreme can be extremely painful, can horribly mess up the patient's mind, etc. You want to slowly wean them off
@Tom Not all addicts are born from recreational drug users, you do know that right?
@Tom “ Did you know there is a simple way not to choke? Is that you don’t need to eat or do whatever you’re doing which would cause you to choke” please don’t reproduce
@Tom not all addicts are born from taking recreational drugs. Many come from prescription drugs. It's all easy to abuse unfortunately, especially pain medications and sleep aids
First time House gets punched in the series! By the way, one clip that would be very nice to add is that episode where they treat the homeless guy that would not share information of any sort about his identity, Masters freaks out about it, and after they release him, turns out he was a serial killer.

House _always_ gets what he wants
I’m socked not a single person from Dr. House’s team ever got shot for breaking in 😂
America: If the guns don't kill you the healthcare price will
Because they're in New Jersey.
01:58 if anyone wants to skip to the good bit.😉
I kinda looked like House when I stopped all my psych meds cold turkey. That’s about as close to withdrawl that I have ever had.
So strange all of the random info I remember from this show. I get very worried any time I lose weight too quickly, because of potential toxins that might be hanging out in my fat cells.
My mom went through second menopause when she lost weight, because there were hormones stored in her fat that got released.
@jlammetje whoa
It's crazy how many doctors are so proud and prideful on these shows that they are willing to risk someone's life rather then stop a surgery lmao.
6:10 funny thing is that punch to the face probably relieved some of his pain
If I was dr house and that dude punched me in the face, I’d get up and say “ok do the transplant, hope you loved ur son” and just leave. Let em learn
Thing about House, the guy is so blunt not even Snoop will touch him, but at the end of the day he's better than that.
Thanks for not being a doctor
i fucking love how that actor was like " YA THINK ?????????????????????"
When House got punched, I felt the punch
6:20
House: Well then-- thanks for punching me, that really took the edge off my pain.
love the piano music during the cat autopsy.
this show had so much good instrumental music along with the "famous" songs.
I wish there was a soundtrack just for these instrumental pieces xD
This is such a fantastic dramatic music during cat autopsy. I can't forgive them they barely ever used it in the show, I think I remember I heard it once or two more times in total.
What the name of it?
That's one dedicated puzzle solver,he can answer a question when even the full question isn't there he will find it
I’m surprised more people aren’t talking about the Dad’s acting, that “I WANT HIM LOCKED UP” clip contains the anger frustration and heartbreak of a father that is powerless to protect what matters most to him, his family…
No apology for that punch? Angry or not I'm pressing charges
