Amazing video, pretty much sums up all the reasons why one would want to be a firefighter.
I'm a volunteer at a small department (around 85 volunteers for approximately 7000 residents and a bunch of businesses/industrial buildings, here in Switzerland).
I've only been a volunteer since the start of the year and haven't really seen much yet, but I very highly respect those who do it on a daily basis!

Great Job Avondale FD! I've seen many many videos, motivational, tributes, etc. My long time favorite is beyond 10 years now, you've definitely made the top three. Great info, great motivation, and great education for those who aren't aware. In my almost 15 years of service its always good to see greatness in community education. Extremely well produced video. Great glimpse into a world that many can sometimes take for granted and the many facets behind the scenes that keep departments and the good work they do going. The job is tough, arduous, and requires vast amounts of discipline and dedication. This video has a great message: whenever you see bad things happening around you, look around and you will always notice the people helping. One of them is almost always a firefighter. Thank you Avondale Fire & Medical for producing this great piece and sharing insights into the day to day of the job.

I don’t want to hate on this video because its nothing then amazing from the editing, music selection, narrating, the reasons why you do what you guys do. But I would have liked to see more information about fire fighting and what the pros and cons are in the job. I was a fire fighter in training and a EMT-B but whit me health going down hill with my MS I would have never passed the physical requirement on what it takes to become a fire fighter/Paramedic (True Hero’s). I do love the video

I am using 150 watts on four 1875 watt outlets in one room. That is a total of 600 watts. should I expect flashing and crackling LED bulbs on 2 of these outlets which were hooked up to new surge protectors? Or 4 incandescent bulbs in the bathroom to flash and then not work? Could be the switch hooked up to the bulbs hooked up to these outlets. Then these 2 outlets stop working, and show to my circuit tester open neutral. And then an outlet in the living room stops working all of this at the same time?
The owners to the apartments I live at say it is my fault that the outlets stopped working and the lights flashed and blinked. These owners did not tell me that these apartments were built in the 1974s with a good chance to have aluminum wiring. They did not tell me that there are loose outlets in all the apartments that could mean loose wires, loose screws or loose blades. Aren't the owners at fault completely if there is a fire at all? Am I not supposed to expect 1875 watts at each outlet as a part of my all bills paid rent lease?
I just unplugged all the wires from loose outlets in my apartment. Because I had to read about loose outlets on my own, I read that there is an excellent chance that using an appliance like a lamp at a loose outlet can immediately start a small lightning bolt/arc to shoot through the walls.
Where do I go to find out if aluminum wire has been used at these 1974 apartments?
