Thank you. The B360 is very easy to land. It has low pitch stops for the propellers that prevent the propellers blades to go into fine pitch when you retard the throttles during the flare. In other King Airs without the stop, this creates a lot of drag and can lead to hard landings.
So the B360 glides in like a jet.
The low pitch stop is released on the ground automatically after a couple of seconds. The WOW weight on wheel switch triggers this, once the aicraft is on the ground.

Perfection: I do not believe I perfection when it comes to a flight. We can only aim for it. We all make mistakes (me included). Small things, big things. Important is to learn from mistakes and more important is not to to kill yourself with mistakes.
The only solution is TRAINING TRAINING TRAINING. And after the training live up to it.
My motto: train like you fly and fly like you train.
How often do you see the student pilot, once the flight test is passed and no instructor is anymore in the cockpit, to go on the Wild West route and do stupid things.

Wow... the lag in control response is epic. Never seen anything like that before.
The floats are really big, as you can see on the photos in the slide show.
But out is still an easy to fly, stable aircraft.

The speed loss is around 10-15% and so is the corresponding fuel consumption [NM/lb].
I flew at FL200 to get some range out of the aircraft as the distance between possible fuel stops was large.

Ha! love the "slide projector" sound effect at the end... Icing over water in a single, not my favourite way to fly, but the bleed air systems seemed to make short work of it...

The bleed air system barely keeps the wind screen clear. Biggest issue is the ice accumulation on the wings and the floats.
Any icing in a Caravan Amphib requires immediate action.

I've been in a max weight caravan that couldn't climb due to moderate icing. The thought of icing up an amphib caravan is terrifying.
You are absolutely correct!
Even a lightly loaded Caravan has to stay out of ice (unless equipped with TKS or boots).
In the Amphib it is even worse.

Excellent editing again Guido - so much info and interest - good set of stills too. Icing a very unwanted factor! Can just imagine the effects on handling with those massive floats- must be a major drag component, plus the ground stand-off distance. Looks quite ungainly!

@@GuidoWarneckeIt's a great video Guido, thank you for your time and upload. Beautiful aircraft. Question: Do those front two landing gear caster only when taxiing, they're locked for takeoffs and landings? If they do not lock, I imagine that a wing high landing would either make a go-around mandatory or anything except the other two just inches from the ground could become a handful.
The nose wheels (as shown in the insert photo at the end of the video) do not lock.
For steering you use differential brakes right/left and the rudder. The rudder is assisted by the propeller slip stream. But you are correct, it is possible to loose directional control in high crosswind conditions.

the C208 Amphib has two free castoring nose wheels. Same concept as in the Cirrus. You need differential brakes and rudder.
Works ok, a bit challenging to taxi in a strong crosswind. Turing take off it is easier because the propeller slip stream assists with steering.
