I know no one really cares but I just need to get it out, man. This song, the cover from How I Met Your Mother.... was one of my ex's favorite songs. I memorized that version and learned to sing it as close as I could to how it sounds because he wanted it to be our song. It's been 2 years since he broke up with me, and this song has been so hard for me to even think about without the anxiety and ptsd that came from how traumatic the breakup was. This cover genuinely helped me a little, and I'm so thankful for that. I still feel sick to my stomach at the moment, but I think I can see myself recovering by listening to this. This song, the cover from How I Met Your Mother.... was one of my ex's favorite songs. I memorized that version and learned to sing it as close as I could to how it sounds because he wanted it to be our song. It's been 2 years since he broke up with me, and this song has been so hard for me to even think about without the anxiety and ptsd that came from how traumatic the breakup was. This cover genuinely helped me a little, and I'm so thankful for that. I still feel sick to my stomach at the moment, but I think I can see myself recovering by listening to this. So thank you, Stella. I love your lovely voice :) ♥
